Sam Milla:Unfortunately nature create some Alpha males(and females too) who impose their will on the rest of us who really just want to get on with living |
frosbel:Thats a human trait and seriously has nothing to do with religion just some mental cases who call themselves religious leaders, |
OKAY! OKAY I know I bag South Africa all the time but here's some positive news just to make sure I keep the comments fair and balance. THe meat looks good damn it, http://edition.cnn.com/video/#/video/international/2010/03/16/ia.meeting.mzoli.bk.c.cnn |
Since my childhood years. Nigerian entities has been dissolving boards and councils left and right and till date I have seen no new set that have done anyting to transform the system they inherited. All we do is keep hoping |
truly:My accusation has nothing to do with the above claim. The implication of your statement suggests your rationalization (please notice I did not say support) of of the attackers behaviour(as hardened people) such that it implies that the other side are unable to claim or adopt a similar strategy in such a manner as to repel these would be hardened criminals. truly:No one called for a war. However I do support the arming of a militia since the government is incapable of protecting its citizens from what seems to be emboldened attacks. I think any reasonable civilized people would not disagree to this fact. truly:In the absence of a government who is incapable of solving existing problems, I see no deficit in creating a new one. truly:Stop trivializing the loss of innocent lives of women and childre. I repeat women and children to this silly ethnic bru ha ha. the main objective here is protect the lives of innocent people who are not liable for any previous or present attacks from an illiterat who has been programmed his religion is superior to anothers. In my interpretation that is the sole responsibility of the militia and if they disobey that directive. They will be shot on sight. Chikena Aboki, |
Again if the government cannot protect its citizenry it is a human right to defend your self. I advocate for groups of young men to be trained and armed. of course, unfortunately the issue of money comes up when trying to do this. i wonder if gaddafi will loan me money to take up this guerilla warfare. Hmmm, |
Fhemmmy:@Fhemmy You are pray pray. We are going to pray ourselve to heaven eh! |
truly:Stop defending your fulani muslim brothers by trying to analyze the readiness of village people. All they need is someone who will co-ordinate their young and able bodied men into a vigilante group, arm and train them to defend themselves from these attacks. I really don't care much for religions per say but concerned about the preservation of innocent life so I bet you when these attackers get it through their skulls that the individuals they are attacking are not helpless defenseless women and children they will second guess their cowardly strategies no matter how hardened you claim theare are battle ready. No body likes casualties, not even the most armed military on the face of the planet. |
mbulela:I second that opinion for the fact that our own military cannot not even control the violence. Goes to show what these attackers think of our security personnel, I also suggest these villagers organize in arming themselves and training vigilante personnel to butcher these fools next time around |
couchsurf:socialist innuendos, We get it |
agathamari:Question, Granted John Mcain was born on a military base outside of US soil. How is it he is technically Jus solis and eligible to run for office and Obama who is "natural born" on US soil is hammered everyday about this. Let's even go further assume he was born in Kenya but was registerd at birth in an embassy in Kenya at time of birth to a US parent(which would put him on par with John Mcain) , I don't see nayone even speaking about that arguement. I don't think the founding fathers anticipated that loop hole huh? If that aint underlined racism against people of African descent, I don't know what is |
lipuka:don't forget language is dynamic and changes form as time goes on. Any language adopted will still have elements of outside influences. Case inpoint. Amharic is semi asiatic but fully spoken in Ethiopia. |
Personally I think the languages should be regional as that would make more sense in terms of historical, cultural and language similarities. For example Southern Africans have intonations that are difficult for West Africans to pick up easily (e.g incoporated click sounds) and likewise in East Africa pronunciations and vowel sounds are different as well. Case in point it would be easier for me to pic up the twi language in Ghana than it would for me to pic up the Xhosa language in Southern Africa Lets work on regional blocs first before screaming one African language no? |
@ Ababda. nice analysis on these people. Please edumacate our people, I would like to add that tropically adapted people do retain many of their adaptations in tropical climates so it is not unusual to see that these people resemble Africans in terms of morphology and pigmentation. It is also lends credence to the out of Africa hypothesis i.e. if you remove any population from Africa and isolate them for an extended period of time say 30,000 ina different enviroment it is without a doubt that they would change phenotypically as certain traits would be selected for breeding purposes and thus in the long term differencies would appear btw the contremporary populations of Africa and the migrants. It takes a keen eye to see that there is obviously a gradial resemblance with the vanatu man, the Australian Aborigine, a fijian and a tongan man. People of Madagascar are examples of people of different continents who have been introduced and left inhibited to breeding as in a cross btw African and Indonesian people.(note malagasy often resemble melanisians as well) I often wonder how the world population would look like if some devious people hadn't created social stratification and racial hierachies in seperating people.Hmmmmm? |
If Black south africans don't associate themselves with Africa, thats non of your business. You can continue hating them, we will see what you gonna gain out of it. At least you made it clear to us, no more arguments with you. Now we know how you feel about the country. One other thing about your justification in every thing blacks, Nhleko is not from Swaziland. There are no xhozas in Swaziland. It goes to show the extend you can go just to justify your hatred for black South Africans. I just feel pity for you because at the end of the day, you are the one who looks stupiid.
You really are a block head you know. I simply stated my gripe with SA's which is valid and clear as one can make in any arguement and the above is the best response you can come up with. Maybe you waiting for me to proclaim I hate SA's(which obviously I don't) so you can justify your ignorance of the daily perpetuaty of what some of your country men are guilty of. Unfortunatley, You will never hear that from my mouth my friend. Try again. I am making it my business as a citizen of the collective body of human beings on God's green earth, My right as a citizen of the continent, My proclaimation of my Africanism and My right as a fellow member of the individuals who refer to themselves as "black" people to voice my opinion on issues within SA and anywhere else of Africa I feel like. If you don't like it well, ![]() As for the CEO. I retracted my statement based on a mix up with a different MTN CEO. I have the balls to admit when I am mistaken, Are you? Meditate on this song and know Africa is more than Southy's, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b6Fy8e7RZow&feature=related |
@ londoner Sheraton is too expensive. Try House J. It is a nice boutique hotel and quite close to the airport. Europcar at the airport know these hotels very well or you can schedule picup with them. I think they are going for 3O,000 naira a night for a nice room. You won't regret. They have a website and here are some reviews as well http://www.housej.com/ http://www.tripadvisor.com/ShowUserReviews-g304026-d633416-r43407402-House_J-Lagos_Lagos_State.html#CHECK_RATES_CONT |
Is this guy Morpheus crazy or what? Yaa, now you really show me that you don't live in SA. CEO of MTN is not South African, you should be smoking something. Have you lost your mind or there is something that you want to proof. Your justifications always out of this world. You should be sent to a mental institution, you are really losing the mable in the name of justification. If there is something that you want to proof, please tell us what it is. Nhleko's shares on MTN was R2.7Billion last year, i don't kno what they worth now. Let me tell you that Nhleko is 120% South African, hater. Do you want me to show you people who control Multichoice? Your problem is, you don't have respect for black South Africans. You think every thing in South Africa is controlled by whites. giving white people so much respect. There are too many companies that are controlled and run by blacks, multibillion dollar companies.
Yeah your are right I don't have respect for black south Africans who are ignorant of the continent they live in and continue to live in shells oblivious to the rest of the world around them. They shout we are Africans but are far from the essense of what it really means to be African, to be concious of the reality in the space they occupy within the continent. As for the CEO , my sources had revealed he was from Swaziland. I must have mistaken him for another CEO Tebogo Mogapi. I will retract that statment. |
no biggie- anything can be thought to look like humans
Tpia That example is off mark. What they are referring to is more of an association of dogs to humans e.g a typical guy who lives in southcentral LA is not going to owne a poodle is he, unless his azz is gay that is lol |
