Statistical  I could narrow down the possibility of anyone being robbed in his/her house or even on the road side for that matter based on certain factors I am presented with. it can still be narrowed down to a quantity of equations in which I can eliminate the possibility of this happening  to less that a 1% chance so I don't buy that bullcrap analogy.

Using statistical data one can even predict to an almost certainty if two countries are going to go to war with each other, how many people will die of AIDS this year, how many children will be born in Nigeria. That is information with a purpose,

Again give me an exact date and time and convince me without a reasonable doubt that natural disasters have a purpose other the natural workings of a planet. An ab"original" and indigene are relative terms. However an aborigine can be said to be the oldest "original" inhabitant (which includes his direct descendatns) of a given area and therefore can claim certain ancestral rights to a specific area.

Exactly, my sister's children were and raised in Lagos. These kids speak fluent Yoruba and even have Yoruba names bestowed on them by the Yoruba church that they attend. Even though both of their parents are Urhobos they hardly know anything about that part of their culture. In fact their father, an Urhobo was born and raised in Lagos and when you hear him speaking Yoruba you would be forgiven for thinking that his origins were Yoruba. In fact I don't think I can see that family ever going back 'home' to the Delta, just like I can never see myself settling in Nigeria . . .or calling it 'Home' for that matter because as much as I respect the country as the birth land of my parents and admire the various positive qualities of its people, its delicious foods and rich cultures etc it is not my land.
