TO be honest with you, you have good and real points.
However, with the case in court and all that, it is not that easy for him to carry out a lot of things.
The only think i think he wasted time on was to get rid of some of the die hard fan of yaradua, he shd have sent them packing fast and change them all to people he can trust.
However as an Acting president, there is little he could do.
I bet, he never see this coming that They will repackage the ghost of yaradua into the nation like that, and that was why they never told him, so that, he will be caught unaware.

Which shows his lack of leadership qualities. A good strategist would have anticipated this move and prepared for it after being advised.

Should we still be expecting any confirmation of him been in the country when for the past months he has been a ghost. Imaging a president been smuggled into the country like one forbidden(contra-bound)drug, even all this while that he was said to be in Saudi, there has been no access to him and now again in his soil land still behind the screen, I think in a morrow day or weeks we will see it on the news that the president is demise which I think has occurred all these while they've been playin us.

Have you seen the amount of communication from the US state dept and Africom on todays development? They don't want Yar Adua's presence fouling any gains Nigeria has made in the past two weeks. They didn't send such a powerful delegation just last week for nothing (Assistant Secretary of the Bureau of African Affairs, Johnnie Carson, Ms Rice, President Bush). Progressive Nigerians can count on a powerful friend.

The cabal just played a joke on themselves. . . It will last as long as this evening, then begin to fade.

Unfortunately I don't think they hold much sway as far as this last tactic is concerned. Yardua's presence in the country is a strong play and will both  mobilize the north and undermine Jonathans powers until 2011

I think this game will continue well into next year if they can keep this gimmick up to save their azzez's

Good incentives,thats the key.In Kenya,domestic tourists saved the tourism sector from collapse after the election violence.This was due to the fact that Kenya has a new middle class and these vacations were not affordable before.Also citizens and those of EA member states pay lower rates in hotels,parks etc.The response was encouraging and they decided to make the lower rates permanent, not to mention we can travel and settle anywhere in East Africa thanks to the new regional passport.

Good, now if some of you will change your attitudes and stereotypes against West Africans(particularly Nigerians) more of us might visit your lands on vacation

I have said it over and over, until we learn from the EU and make the AU visa free, I won't bother myself visiting any African Country. I would be the last man to pay for a visa to any African Country. I could, say, pay for a UK visa, US visa, Chinese visa etc but to pay for a an Ethopian visa, plllssss! Asides that, my friends say Tanzania is a NO NO for Nigerian visitors. What about Kenya and Egypt?? Fact is we are too primitive in how we treat fellow Africans and for someone that values courtesy, I will only go where I would be respected. Period!

If you feel the British or the Americans treat Africans poorly, I can only say this: your treatment was a product of your comportment!!!

Visa within Africa are not necessary evils and there are certain blocks within Africa usually according to region who do not have this process. e.g ecowas, eastern block consisting of tanzania kenya and ugande, the southern African countries consisting of namibia,mozmabic, botswana, South Africa and a couple of others so that's not an excuse.

As far as Tanzania is concerned. Some ignorant east Africans do have a stereotypical view of Nigerians as usual but on a one on one basis are normal as they come to Africans in general so if the issue is with Nigerians then we definitely have an image problem we need to deal withother Africans do travel around their continent apar tform Nigerians

When you are here you wont be coming into contact with South Africans only, you will meet all sorts of people from mostly African countries and Asia. There is lots of Pakistanis, Indians and chinese. There is just too many foreigner who are scrumbling for resources to survive. Its a concrete gungle, it can eat you up and spit you out.

Driving from SA to Zambia via Botswana you encounter groups of elephants right on the highway you haven't lived until you've had a grumpy bull elephant try to intimidate you knowing fully well that it can just flip your car over effortlessly, but we were lucky, they moved off the road and let us pass There's so much to see in this region (Southern Africa), booze cruize on the mighty Zambezi , skiing in Lesotho if you like to ski; if luxury is your thing then luxury cruise ships from Durban to Bazaruto Islands or Mozambican Islands, or from Durbs to CT; visit the sand dunes in the oldest desert (Namib); Mozambique for the great beaches and seafood; Lake Malawi, I could go on and on.

North African countries - I haven't been to Egypt but in Morocco I met the friendliest people, great food, snake charmers in the souks ; I went up into the High Atlas mountains and over to the other side to the edge of the Sahara, visited old castles, even the village where the movie Gladiator was shot; shopped for carpets; rode camels; etc Africa has got a lot to offer the adventurous traveller.

I din't know you could go sking in lesotho. Now on my list,
