Toktee:I know sir/ma. I was only telling him what led to the conflict today. The modern-day Israel was created in 1948 after the holocaust and in fact, the holocaust was what made the world start being sympathetic to the Jewish cause. |
Akwamkpuruamu:Your question is the reason why I admonished you to stop diving into discussions that you know nothing about. A person versed in international politics wouldn’t ask this question and I don’t have the energy to start schooling you. It’s a long story that dates back to 1945-48. Take care. |
DMerciful:Well, I guess you might be right. The two-state solution might have been adopted if Hamas hadn’t resorted to using terror. Hamas is causing them more damages. Over 300 Israelis are dead already and it’s only natural for Israel to react strongly. Nobody except hypocrites is saying Israel is doing the right thing but Muslims need to learn that terrorism is not the right way to settle issues. Also, I think it’s Israel that’s blocking the two-state solution proposal and not the Palestinians even when we all know that the proposal is still unfair to the Palestinians. Just imagine Fulani herdsmen asking you to split your ancestral land into two to accommodate the both of you. That doesn’t make sense, right? But I don’t think the Palestinians are even against it even though it’s still unfair to them but still a million miles better than this oppression and suppression by Israel. Remember during the last World Cup, we heard that Palestinians had to take permissions from Israel before being allowed to travel to Qatar to watch the tournament (a sovereign country taking permission from another country before her citizens could travel ) yet Israel is allowed in every tournament while Russia is banned for seemingly doing the same thing. |
Akwamkpuruamu:Akamu, pls stop diving into discussions that are beyond your intellectual grasp . Since you supported the creation of ESN to combat Fulani militias trying to overrun the southeast (allegedly) why then are you against an oppressed people (Palestinians) whose only sin is that they accommodated land grabbers and expansionists who think they can just claim other people’s lands and heritage since the US and the rest of the world (and Igbo Nigerians especially) are chronic hypocrites who see nothing wrong in this but are ever condemning South African Apertheid regime, Russia’s occupation of Ukrainian territories and Fulani militia occupation of people’s lands? ![]() |
SMoh247:We are living in a pathetic world where hypocrisy has become the order of the day. I’m not trying to make this tribal but igbo people of Nigeria and on this forum are always happy each time Israel strikes Palestine even when we all Know the Israelis are the oppressors here, trying to claim another people’s homes and heritage yet they condemn Fulani militias for doing the same in Benue, Taraba, Southern Kaduna, the southwest and some parts of southeast. It’s highly hypocritical and disdainful to not condemn the Israeli occupation of the Arabs ancestral land but we condemn Russia for seizing Crimea from Ukraine even though the people of Crimea already had a referendum in support of the move to be with Russia. I don’t support the terrorists’ killings of innocent Israeli civilians but let’s not act blind like we don’t know what led to these series of crisis rocking that part of the world. |
I don’t see anything wrong in what the police officer said. He was only saying that Arsenal board and manager have done a really good job considering the odds they still got against a strong team like city. Besides, is betting now criminal in Nigeria? If betting is criminalized, I don’t see reason why forex and crypto trading aren’t declared illegal. Frustrated people everywhere ![]() |
Good job. This is better than bombing innocent civilians in the name of retaliatory attacks. |
kk2027:He’s now a changed man (though he’s still not someone I would like to associate with) If you dine with pigs, you start acting like one. Forgive Reno for being fuulish then because you can’t associate with Obidient and still be normal. In fact, senselssness is the major requirement needed to be seen as a bonifide Peter Obi’s supporter ![]() |
I’ve always known this ape to be the most sens*lss among Obi’s online misguided followers. How on earth did she end up blaming and accusing the same Tinubu, who has been at the receiving end of insults and blackmail since the beginning of this certificate nonsense, of bringing embarrassment to the country? Who paid lawyers and spent millions asking for the embarrassment in the first place? Who hurled insults at CSU and called them out on Twitter for not making public the certificate documents? Who deserves an unreserved apology here? You all accused him of certificate forgery (an allegation he had promptly denied) unsatisfied by his denial, you continued abusing every legal process together with insults to force the institution into releasing the said documents and after they released them, you turned back again to accuse the supposed victim of bringing shame to the country despite being innocent (since what he said earlier eventually turned out to be true) Is this country real at all? Are you guys normal? Like, who is the victim here? Who asked for the embarrassment? Who carried our civil matter to the US? Oby, if you are reading this, just know you are irredeemably m*d and have no one to tell you just yet. |
Dontcry09985:You definitely don’t even know what monopoly means to start with ![]() You would be surprised I know this but don’t be. You mentioning that Ibeto cement and monopoly in the same sentence gave you out as chief purveyor of beer parlor gist who doesn’t even know what the term “monopoly” means in business. My friend, if cement is monopolized in Nigeria, only one group would be given the exclusive right to manufacture and distribute them and as such, there would be nothing like BUA, Dangote and Ibeto, Lafarge and about 3 or more others. Who even started this monopoly nonsense sef? ![]() Una go just dey yarn dust with so much confidence 😂 |
OP, next time, be very careful because you already shot yourself the moment you gave her your attention to speak with you and you finished yourself kpata kpata by collecting the card. The number one rule of living safely in places like Lagos is to be unapproachable and cold. Never collect people’s atm cards no matter the situation they claim to be as you may not be this lucky next time👂 |
Humans are indeed funny creatures. The Ipob Jews of Biafra hate Soyinka who was one of the most active voices fighting the then military government over their involvement in the humanitarian crisis rocking the region at the time and as a result of the Biafran war. The same set of people can kill to support a man who is supposed to be stoned if one is to revisit all the evils he did to this very region. The ibos have forgotten the massacre committed by Obasanjo simply because he’s now supporting bitter Obi What this means is that human life is worth next to nothing in ala Igbo once you know how to play with their empty heads. What happened btw 2020 and now are a great testament to this fact. Nobody complained when ![]() |
OkpaNsukkaisBae:Yes o my friend and that’s why you are regarded as third-class citizens of our great nation ![]() |
Bbbwings:Let me address this once and for all, being influential doesn’t necessarily mean one is an angel. For example, Adolf Hitler is one of the most influential people in the history of mankind but was he a good man? Ibori, being a convicted felon doesn’t mean he can’t be influential. Influential simply means to be powerful. To the topic, when it comes to influence wielded by both men, it’s an insult comparing GEJ to Ibori (being respected doesn’t mean you are influential/authoritative) GEJ may be more respected but James Ibori has more influence in that geo-political zone than GEJ. |
This is so very wrong and disrespectful of Obj. This is not the Obasanjo we used to know. No matter what, you don’t talk to Obas like school children even if you are older than them because you’re not respecting the person wearing the crown but the throne. Old age is already taking its toll on baba. Very wrong! |
LegendHero:Can we have peace now? 😂😂 Can Atiku and bitter Obi show us their own transcripts? |
Skull miners. These ones are competing steadily with Ogun. May God grant the family of the victim the fortitude to bear this loss |
Sharpsharp00123:So, a police man collecting his own share of the stolen proceeds is the best way to deal with the criminality plaguing our society according to you and that lun@tic because I honestly don’t understand this pattern and process of thought. I honestly don’t know what to say to both you and the police officer. You deserve so much insult but I won’t do that, I want to assume that you’re being ignorant. If this isnt jealousy, then you would have known that police officers collecting money from these criminals will only embolden them to keep on doing their criminal activities rather than correct them because they already know that nothing would happen if they get caught since they have the money to bail themselves out. Ppl like you are one of the many ills ravaging this country. You’re obviously not bothered about the atrocities of yahoo boys but just jealous that you can’t measure up because it’s very evident from ur writeup. It would have made sense if you had said that yahoo boys should be arrested and given heavy fines/community service and that EFCC should ensure that every cent stolen is returned to the scammed victims but the problem today is that no agency is arresting these criminals sincerely, everyone is doing it for personal gains in a typical case of dogs eat dogs. I strongly abhor people like you. |
Most of the comments here are sickening. Why should his girlfriend take over the properties he left behind? Were they legally married? So she should take over everything only to start getting serviced by another boy in the next couple of weeks, abi? Let’s leave sentiments out of things at times and judge critically, Mohbad was only 27, it’s very wrong for a baby mama (I’m assuming they were never married) to take everything he worked for just because she had a child with him-common, the poor boy had families; a father and mother. |
omniwater:That’s the good thing about opposition and/or competition but normally, e no go better for Obasanjo and every enemy of this country. He had 8 solid years to fix the refineries and sort the electricity problems and he did none but he’s here now badmouthing and rubbishing another person’s efforts to make them work |
GYBABA:Let’s even assume his skin color would change overtime, will his pointed nose become sunken/flat? Will his eyes change from being blue/green or gray to black like the black Africans? What about his hair, will they become Africa-like? Evolution takes time and besides, such traits/features are not passed down to offsprings because they are acquired. Acquired traits can’t find their ways into your DNA. An English scientist called Charles Darwin was the first to carry out this very experiment and what this means is that you don’t give birth to armless kids just because you decided to cut off your arms before procreating them. |
