Kobojunkie:And Mr. Lagosian when did he get it? For all: I think we need to understand that it is imperative that Fashola out perform his predecessor. If he does not then he would be a huge failure. His performance should not be a basis to castigate the man before him. I am nobody's apologist but if you want to "call a spade a spade" it is unfair to talk of Tinubu here as if he did absolutely nothing and that he probably is a worse thief than OBJ or any of the PDP governors then. |
Please do us the favour of outlining Marwa's "acheivements" alongside Tinubu's to justify your wild claims and judgement. To say I worship any man seems to me to indicate that you probably habour great hatred for the man. By the way, that you are a Lagosian does not change the fact that from your posts you know next to nothing about the Lagos political terrain. You are not on ground here, your Colombus is way too far. And just to talk: Please remind me of the filthy state of Lagos before Tinubu and when the state when he left. |
Koboko! , sorry kobojunkie. Who is praise singing? Wetin be dat place wey you dey reside sef. You are out there judging what Lagos political terrain is like. You know next to nothing how it is here. By what yardstick do you judge the failure of the man Tinubu. There are landmarks still in place of the things he did inspite of federal opposition at the time. I'm not saying he is an angel but he surely out performed all the PDP governors in the country then. Go check the records. ( I am not becommrich so I may not begin to real out stories/reports) Lagosboy:Please educate me with evidence. |
Plenty of petty minds here, even this thread topic is petty in my opinion. For all the Tinubu bashing: I wonder what you guys really have against the guy to label him a failure. If he performed so badly I wonder if it would have been possible to get his candidate to win the election in a state like Lagos. Remember he was the only AC gov. in Nigeria at the time. You guys need to think and come above this juvenile thinking displayed here so far. |
REAL TRUTH:So what's the gist. Any insight relevant to the thread in that claim? |
I see madness on this post! ![]() I read the origina newspaper report of the purchase of the aircraft. There was nowhere in that report that it was stated that "Pastor Adeboye Acquired" the aicraft. There are obviously very many stupid posters in this forum who want to blindly twist a report. RCCG acquired the aircraft not Pastor Adeboye. People should learn to tell themselves the truth. No matter the reservation we may have about a church that still has so many poor people in its fold acquiring a 4b naira aircraft it should not be used to single out Pastor Adeboye for villifying. |
AfroCynic:1 Cor. 14:37 says "If anybody thinks he is a prophet or spiritually gifted, let him acknowledge that what I am writing to you is the Lord's command." That should answer your question. I frankly see this issue as indicating that as Xtians (priests and laity) we may be lacking far more knowledge of God than we are ready to admit. How will the verdict on the day of reckoning be if all disobedience end in damnation? I cannot imagine how many Pastor/Pastor Mrs that will be found on the wrong side of God. I say the above because every practice in flagrant contradiction to the words of 1 Corinthians 14:34-35 and 1 Timothy 2:9-15 is disobedience. It does not matter who is ratifying it. This is one of those areas where the Pentecostal fellowship has missed it. |
PapaBrowne:You can imagine! |
Ehn! Kunle so you have now admitted that you go to church, and have a Pastor who tells you something, afterall. Ope o o! fyneguy:Thank you very much for telling him. |
The guy is just trying to sell his goods! What has all these politics got to do with it? If you are not interested i. e. buy one or market for him, why not leave his/her post alone. ![]() Whether he, or you, sell it to them or not these guys will still buy if they are interested. |
KunleOshob:Kunle I'll respond 2morrow |
JJYOU. I think you should leave Kunle alone. I fear the guy is just a name dropper and not a Xtian. He probably feels that because he can read the bible and reason out his own interpretation that makes him a xtian. He is a PDP man, from the tone of his posts |
Must the foolishness and inadequacy of sycophant followers be blamed on the Pastor(s) who these followers ignorantly worship? Before anyone will say such thing as "they don't teach their followers the truth", let me remind you that these are mega churches with tens of thousand at a single service a size that the pastors cannot reach each one-on-one. |
CAN ANYONE HERE CONFIRM THE VERACITY OF THIS REPORT? So we will not be writing ourselves hoarse for nothing like the case with Lagos state IPP. ![]() |
Kunle I guess I will leave you to your judgement and understanding of the scriptures. Seyenko abi. Are you a habitual, and blatant, liar or a complete and dumb Ignoramus? Where did you hear that "RCCG" was praying for OBJ's 3rd term? Must you post if you are so ill-informed? Anyway, I don't blame you: oun t'ode l'oni kon wa wo'un. |
Kunle I guess I will leave you to your judgement and understanding of the scriptures. seyenko:Seyenko abi. I read the criteria for nomination over again and I don't see how OBJ and Aliko Dangote (and any other one of the younger generation of super "investors" currently making the wave in Nigeria) could make this list. There are surely many other names that should have come up in this list (someone just mentioned Achebe). Anyway Ben Bruce na business man sha and silverbird na profit making organisation. Same goes for Vanguard. ![]() |
lucabrasi:Like I said I'm equally alarmed. And I agree with you that, if this story is indeed true, the timing is indeed is not so good. A private jet at any time that there are still army of unemployed people, poverty stricken families in the church will remain difficult to justify by some of us. |
skyone:I agree with you completely. There are even more thing that could hve been done than you have enumerated. I am a member of RCCG. KunleOshob:Right judgement will start from the altar. But the word advises us to be wary of condemnation, especially the expression we employ. You know Kunle it does not matter what your opinion is men are specifically called by God to be Pastors etc (that is clearly stated in the bible, at least), so if anyone of them miss the point on any issue the final judgement and name calling should with the one who indeed commission them. And like Isaid in earlier posts on this thread, if indeed there is any such purchase it is more likely by donors and not with any tithe or church money. And if I'm right (which I'm persuaded I am) then on which side will you stand with God and the Holy Spirit when more details come to the open considering your name calling. |
Kunle if indeed you fellowship with the Holy Spirit the good Lord would have cautioned u against some of your expressions in ur posts according to His word. |
tpia:If he wants to be there and I feel it is more important to put him there rather than invest in things that will make like more meaningful for the poorer brethren, and I can afford it, why not? ![]() I maintain that until I am proven wrong the 4bn for that aircraft may not have come out of the church's purse. If anyone has any proof in the contrary let me know. Like I said this is one action that is difficult to justify. Any Xtian out here? Watch it! Your real enemy has been looking for one wrong judgement with the wrong language to trap u. Though I am equally alarmed. |
lucabrasi:Hey lucabrasi! Watch it brother. If you don't want to criticise "the man" then you shouldn't use such language as shame etc. You have probably heard, on more than one occassion, Pastor Adeboye talk about people whose life dream is to buy a private jet for him. It may be bad timing but their dream will probably have to come true someday. And I think if that is the case they are happy it did. |
Though it is hard to justify but I do know that it is very likely that this is another gift from a group of church members. All his big automobiles are through the same means and not from church's purse. Whether Daddy GO should have accepted it or not is another question which the only mortal who can answer it is himself. |
In here one see all shades of opinions that represent the true Nigerian character (or one should one say). From the intelligent and educating analysis of the deboskys to the outright stupid opinions of the seemingly mentally impoverished becommrich and politically frustrated tundeoshobs. I think this becommrich guy is one to be ignored, at least on this thread, because he obviously is lacking in sensible reasoning. But tundeoshob should please remove evil veil that your political opposition (I sincerely think that's your main problem with Tinubu) has cast over your better reasoning. How could you assert that the BRT buses are refubished tokunbo. If you are so ill informed then you and your type need to know that those buses are private properties purchased with bank loans guaranteed by the state govt. I must confess my first knowledge of the Eko Atlantic project is through this thread. I have visited the website and have not seen anything potraying it as another project to be funded with public fund. It does not seem a project affordable by any state govt in Ngr in 8yrs. And as other sensible posters have pointed out this is another private financed project. When (if) completed will in no small way contribute to the economy of the state. The tundeoshobs here continue to raise the issue of the 4th mainland bridge. Their ignorance will not let them know that that was a BOT project that the private financiers grew cold feet because they could see that their investment was insecure with the kind of politics that obj liked to play then. If you have the fund you can (I believe) approach Lagos state govt to finance the 4th mainland bridge. They should be more than ready to do biz with you. There are morons here too. |
If anyone wants Pastor Adeboye to know of his resentment about meeting and shaking hands with such people as Ibori it can better be done by going through the Redeemed website. There is a forum there too. The link is www.rccg.org. That will do a lot more good than trying any useless religious halahala in this forum that he and those close to him hardly look at. Lagosboy:I doubt if you know what you're saying here about Olubunmi Okogie. Lagosboy:Pastor Adeboye I know did not support the 3rd term agenda. I don't think he hid that from OBJ either. |
I agree with Pastor Bakare that it's more fruitful to "feed the flock" than to go dinning (in whatever guise) with a VP that may not be God fearing afterall. I mean what is the outcome of that meeting at the end of the day. Compare that with one troubled believer whose spirit's been lifted from that day's sermon. |
The varied analysis posted for and against this subsidy thing gives one an idea that this surely is not a forum for slowpoke yahoo-yahoo felas. I see the subsidy as the monster that's scaring so many. THANK GOD THEY HAVE NOW DECIDED TO REMOVE IT. Every govt I have known in Nigeria had threatened an harassed us with "we will remove subsidy, we will remove subsidy". Now that they have done it (or are they just planning) lets see what else they will say they are going to remove so that they will do well. On another note, this deregulation thing, if sincerely implemented, is what we need in this country to stop all this inefficiency we have seen in running of the of govt agencies in the oil sector. I am not an economist but I know that in Nigeria it is cheaper to block the avenue for corruption than to fight it. |
"where can i get emm complete dash board for honda accord 2000 vtec in nigeria? is it avalaible? with the rack etc" Ikeyman go to Ladipo, Lagos. If you don't get it there then you may not get it in Nigeria. |
One of the things that these JAMB figures indicate is that the population of this race called Igbo in Nigeria is higher than what the population census and the population estimates adduce. I know this is true cos for a fact a sizeable number of Igbos live outside the SE. The population census figure is based on residents and not on indigenes. We should also note that the JAMB figures do not indicate the physical location of the applicants. In trying to see what really needs attention you may need to know the actual population of each of the tribes concerned. I hope Negro will not faint when he sees that figure. I know there are more than 17million igbos in this country far more than that. I won't be suprised if we have something in the region of 22-23million and a Yoruba population that is far less than what is recorded for SW. The above kind of result will mean that if Afaukwu was out on an ego trip he will be greatly disappointed with the resultant ratio of educated to "uneducated" Igbos . And Negro. He will either faint or rejoice. ![]() I know say Igbo women dey born pass dem Yoruba women. Dem get de fisika power. Go Mbaise go find out: 12 babies = 1goat gift (a full dowry compensation for the husband) |
The CAN position is the response to the wicked insensitivity displayed by both the federal and state govt. If you follow this Bauchi story well, it was reported on the 1st day that the state governor had ordered the immediate deployment of armed police to the area and Yar Adua ordered deployement of troop. Then the christians went to sleep and the next thing the murderers came out again and neither the police nor the army were there. That looks like govt conspiracy to me. Gun for all qualified may just be what the murderers you people call jihadists need to restrain themselves |
This thread's been somewhat informative for a jjc like me.I find Negro an interesting person. the guy must be from Ondo: some of them argue just to assert themselves even when their position is untenable. As to the import of the data on admission let me say thus: Having spent about 7 years in the SE and gone into some of the really remotest part of the Niger Delta I know that these areas are not densely populated at all, so their actuall population will be less than that of the SW. However I know that we should have about 30% more Igbos than contained in the census, and even that of other estimates, living in other parts of the nation partticularly in the SW. You only need to be in the east during Xmas to confirm what I'm saying. This aspect is one that I think should be decided :DAfaukwu please don't return to Nigeria. Not to our institutions. We don't need one more corrupter in the |
http://www.jambng.com is JAMB corporate website and powered by dnet, while http://www.jamb.org.ng powered by Sidmach Technologies Nigeria Limited is more like a contract site concerned only with the registration for, and result of the various exams organised by JAMB. But my question is: What is the primary objective of this thread? ![]() |
He had 8 solid years for crying out loud!!

. And Negro. He will either faint or rejoice.
