@Ikengawo, this is no longer 2009. Na our children and young nephews and nieces then full this forum now o, we don't have to act like them in certain matters (though a number of them are very thoughtful and matured). |
Incidentally I had just been wondering the whereabout of that Marilyn Ogar of a woman. DSS is not the only agency that should have the head removed, virtuallyall the agency heads are card carrying members of PDP. |
I've been hearing heavy artillery sounds for more than 30minutes. Infact I purposely came to the forum to find any info. But there's no bank at Ogolonto, can closest is Ebute Ipakodo. Please keep us posted. |
barcanista:Boy! @barcanista you really are a dunce, hardly worthy of a reply. |
dinachi:Not funny. Lol. Anyway once a city becomes well planned and developed with effective sewerage handling facilities and water supply system everyone in that city will start drinking and cooking, bathing and washing with similar reclaimed water. No need to fear though, they are made completely clean and perfectly safe before they get to you. |
adeyiga3:My Prof. Emeritus (Prof Ojiako ) in FUTO those days will tell you the Americans' poo pollutes more than Europeans'. (He was trained and worked in UK) |
Britons and Americans have been drinking water reclaimed from all kinds of poo from way back. Only difference is the technology makes the processing faster. If you're living in any of their cities with their efficient central sewerage systems you sure have beendrinking, cooking, washing and bathing with such reclaimed water. (No offence intended) My main interest here is while the pastors, bishops, reverends, imams and all God's -friend (or servant) claiming persons of this world are busy amassing wealth wealth for personal comfort without limits this nonreligious man is thinking of how to make the world (God's creation) better for fellow humans to live in. |
Ezenwammadu:One is tired of reading and hearing this line of argument. Jonathan just wanted to remove subsidy while leaving the importing cabal intact to exploit Nigerians. What is required is outright deregulation where anyone who can afford it could import petroleum products of approved quality or build refineries so there would be fair market determined prices. |
solid3:According to news reports last week you need an official invitation to be at that venue. I doubt you can procure that. |
I'm an APC fan but not a card carrying member. It is my strong belief that PDP should just be allowed to die so that a true principled parties will rise from her carcass. The fact is PDP did not rise at her inauguration as a political party with principles but became a special purpose vehicle for lazy power seekers who were mostly fraud driven from that day it was inaugurated. The PDP is became a house without a proper and secure foundation upon which great structure was built. Preserving the PDP, therefore, will deny the nation of a strong opposition to the incoming administration: the PDP will continue to be engulfed in internal squabbles and cannot concentrate on being an opposition. A great number of influence wielding members of the party, especially from the south, have affordable prices. The nation cannot afford to have APC become as PDP was: a party too large to defeat. |
I don't the codes guiding the moderation of this forum, but I believe strongly that threads like this one based on an obviously fabricated story by unreliable bloggers/news media should not be allowed to stay five minutes before being deleted. Seun, please take not. This kind false story is very bad for our image as a people and nation. |
It's on yahoo now. The news is a Fabrication (and is stale). Possibly the handiwork of irresponsible Nigerian blogger. |
Tallesty1:The olden days marriages were never based on love (at least in southern Nigeria that I know of). They were based on admiration, recommendation and respect; and they survived mostly on respect for family honours, respect of obligations/roles and love. The wives of old know and play their roles as wives and not as equal partners to their husbands and the husbands know that their honors depended on how well they treated their wives. This is what created and nourished the love they eventually find in their marriages. The same respect for roles was the reason they were able to raise better and more responsible children than we do. The child would not ordinarily stand up to the father because he/she did not see mummy doing same. Ps: I did not read the entire thread. So I don't know if anyone has posted same opinion. |
As someone said, just tell your girlfriend you ain't ready for marriage yet. Imagine: wedding date for 2 years from now.Grow up! |
According to Nebo, Jonathan's administration had achieved minimum electricity generation capacity of 5,500 megawatts.Installed capacity of 5,500MW is what they have achieved but actual generation is still far below that. |
So the outgoing govt hired a foreign tax consultant. What was the commission paid to make those foreigners richer? Is it less than 10% of amount generated?. I want to know so I can either praise Tinubu or call him thief properly. |
farem:Still unrelenting in the display of ignorance. How many projects executed by the Tinubu and Fashola administrations have been targeted at the the "few elites" in comparison with the common "masses"? |
We need to stop "accepting our fate" in this kind of circumstances: please tell the bereaved family to take legal action. They should start by demanding an independent autopsy. Cases of negligence and/or incompetence such as this need to be fought. If this latest victim family simply accept their fate this will happen again. I have seen quite a number of needless deaths like this before. Pregnancy related issues are quite simple to identify and dealt with proper monitoring. No woman need to die at childbirth or even during pregnancy with proper medical attention; worst case should be the loss of the foetus. |
Guys, you can be impossible. The Op posted a 3-liner and a few pix of what has become a rgular occurrence in Ladipo over the last couple of months from 2014, without any corroboration and you are hauling awful words at each other. Ps: I left Ladipo a few minutes after 4.00pm and there was no obvious tension there at the time So I wonder when this "war" kicked off. |
Agbaje is a pupil who refused to be a learner. His lack of idea made him almost throw Lagos into chaos. |
Jk is fast becoming the definition of a B'astard. Omo ale to nko Ogun ja ilu baba e. |
Correction: The Oba's speech is not " anti-igbo. It is more of an expression of anger towards the igbos over the perceived opposition of a majority of the igbo community in Lagos to his preferred candidate. An anti-igbo speech will contain expressions like "hate", "igbos are bad", "igbos are unwanted" etc. It was an unguarded unfortunate statement non the less. |
I can't stop laughing! A PDP already making this kind of allegation(?). |
franciskaine:Thought I was the only one. Immediately y that behemoth emerged on the Nigeria political landscape I knew we will be in bondage as a nation. It was completely impossible to defeat it unless it's broken, a feat possible only through divine intervention, I prayed then and continued to pray until now for God to help us decapitate it. And if APC becomes the same God will decapitate it also. |
@Afam, it is you, the igbos, that have portrayed support for Jonathan as a tribal obligation. What with the kind of comment of you on the result announcement thread cursing all the Imo citizens who voted for Buhari and calling them names. |
@mayorof lagos, what is really wrong with you? How are you better than any racist beast roaming the globe? You do really sound disgusting. |
It's normal. They need to excite the facility during such repair. Don't be childish. |
anepete:You mean he was God sent to run the country aground? ---as of today there is no fund for meaningful capital project in this year's budget proposed by this government. Or God sent to supervise the killing of over 13,000 Nigerians? ---- it has taken Jonathan this much in human capital and billions of naira in property losses, and fear of electoral defeat for him to act decisively against boko haram. |
berem:Seun is a GEJ: He doesn't give a d...n. ![]() |
Congratulations NL&NLders.. Congratulations Seun for coming thus far: I know of other forums that have faded away. But be more circumspect in the remaining days of our elections so quality is completely lost. |
As of this morning GMB is still the superstar on present political stage. Check the number of viewers on this thread. |
HzRF:Just what said. Typical. |
