taiwolola: Cane Corso Puppies for sale.200 gini? bros take time, even if you add their mama join, I no go fit pay more than 80k |
Yem0350: Good day house, did anybody knows ao much banks charged for bank signature confirmation?most banks including first bank and diamond bank charge 2500 |
FO cannot buy Oando just like that. There must be a bidding war, ministerial approval and so on, just like the COP deal. And it will take some time to conclude. Its so because, mining licences dont just pass easily like that. I think Oando is about to sell something, going by their statement at the last conference call, where they said they would be reducing their stake in some areas. |
passwelle: Methinks the above is just semantics.they are two different companies. If you look at the result, you will realize that part of OER's loss was due to payments made to Oando before the take-over. Alot more calculations need be done for us to truly tell what Oando's result will look like. |
slowpoison1: am new on nairaland....kindly welcome meLol. Guy u too funny. |
myjoy08: Hello my good family of Nairaland, i hope everyone is coping with the conditions of the market presently...lol. Just want to ask if anyone would be surprised if Oando declare a reasonable dividend having seen what they have gone through for some months, years due to the acquisition of COP deal? Plz am just asking not a recommendation to buy or sell. I still stand on the fact that any investment made in Oando presently can never go wrong. I hope someone is taken a some look at Agriculture sector and insurance sector? Good LuckIt would be a big surprise if they pay dividend this year, given that they used the company's profit(ie acquired company) to complete the acquisition. Mind you there is still an outstanding 5-6 billion Naira to be paid in a matter of months, they also need money to run the new company etc I doubt if they can. |
currentprice: Unic ^it seems academy is liquid. I sold mine last yr or thereabout. |
Born2berich: I believe that it will definitely be green today, however, people should not expect a miracle rally from oando..My simple advise, map out your exit price and once achieved, move on to the next stock..There are so many good stocks to choose from unless you are in for the Long term.My exit price for oando is #100 and above no matter when it happens. So if wale and co think they can use bad news to chase me out of the bus, they better think twice cos na me and them dey this bus, we rise or fall together. Pls note that oando is only %10 of my investment as most(%60) are in Tbills(others are spread). |
chukyjones: hmmmm.. costs $106. make una wait i dey come...guys with 1million and above units of oando should pls buy and paste. |
donvidar: Like a nairalander once said, 'make craxe worry me if I click on dt link'Another called it an ebola blog |
bigass: The main down side of a company with hight outstanding shares is inability to declare bonus shares and low EPS. Seplat has 500 million shares compared to Oandos 9 billion sharesis that so? Only 500mil shares wow this company has a high bonus shares potential. But the price(though commensurate to number of shares)dey fear me. |
Elai147: Are you trying to tell us exchanging debt for equity will not lead to an increase in shares outstanding? How is this possible? It would not lead to increase in outstanding shares. It is called ''arrangement and compromise'' or in extreme cases,''takeover'' in corporate law. In this case, I suspect its a takeover ie Oando is now the new owner of OER. They simply bought it with the loan they gave to OER. It doesn't add to outstanding shares but simply increases the value(ie share to asset) of each share. |
natruetalk: to buy oando no be problem now. have we factor the possibility of future share reconstructionWhy should Oando even consider reconstruction? They might have alot of outstanding shares but its nowhere near those of Transcorp, and most of our banks, Yet none of them is talking of reconstruction. In any case, I think any post-cop reconstruction of oando shares would have a positive effect on its share price. Reconstruction of a company's shares is not always a bad thing, provided the company has good prospects, in which case there would always be lesser offer at the floor of NSE than in pre-reconstruction era. Most people don't really know the actual implication of the COP purchase in terms of annual profit. My only fear is with transcorp and elections. I know alot of our politicians have huge stakes in this company and might sell to finance election primaries. My fear is not whether but when to buy more of transcorp. If I were sure of an election induced fall in price, I would wait for that fall. If not its to buy before their oil stuff starts. |
Chibuking81: Oando energy resources completes acquisition of medal oil. http://www.newswire.ca/en/releases/archive/july2014/11/c7514.html (if the page refuse to open, copy either the headline or the link to google, it will open)Na COP deal we want, not just this one. |
coldFLARES1: . Makes the two of us then, except that I already have a portal where I can track what goes down. Cashcraft operates the T+3 system and can spurn up laughable reasons to make your funds withdrawal spill over the due date. To justify their inefficiency, they tell you they are a risk-averse conservative company that would have to prepare checks for all payment and then get a staff to go look for all branches of clients' bankers to make the deposits, whereas forward/future looking competition have already adopted internet banking. Just how they think we don't feel embarassed having to make follow-up calls after placing mandates online beats me. Ultimately, we have quite a vast array of better run firms to choose from, out of which I have made my recommendation.Cashcraft has never paid me in less than 2weeks from execution of sale mandate. They specifically told at their Abuja office that payment is done after two weeks of mandate. |
If I have to judge from this tornarment, then I'll say Musa is better than Harzad |
brainpowerng: Cashcraft is the worst stock business experience you may ever have. Customer service nothing, staff response rate zero. What does it take SEC to scrap bad stock brokering firms like this?Bros, I am presently compiling my petition against them. After this, I am surely porting to another broker. |
davide470: Wetin dem do again. They were just released by SEC in April. Kindly tamper mercy with justice and resolve internally. Cheers.i have tried as much as I can, but they seem adamant, placing one hurdle or the other on peaceful resolution. |
Its a very serious matter that might end up in court. To avoid prejudice of any kind, I will share as soon as its resolved. Just want to try SEC before exploring litigation. Those guys want to recover from their losses, with people's money. feelamong: wetin dem do you? |
. |
Please. I seriously and urgently need to write a petition against cashcraft, to SEC. How can I do it. Is it by email or hard copy. Whats the address in either case, and procedure. |
Pls guys whats the latest on cashcraft. Will the suspension placed on them ever be lifted or should we begin to port? Abeg advise. |
megainvest: Is this news a sign of potential share price gain for FBNH?: FBNH Plc reports 11.4% rise in Gross Earnings to N290.8b for the Nine Months Ended 30 Sept. 2013But FBNH ended with an 8% fall in profit after tax compared to he previous year. An very much interested in seeing how the market reacts to all these. |

Subom1: Bleaching at its best! Smdhif only I were the mod, I for ban you for ever. |
safarigirl: So in essence, he won't be at CHAN. Kindly replace with Chidera Ezeh. It would have been smarter to have gone for CHAN before going to Europe, who knows? Maybe he could've been good enough for the World Cup, but we might never knowI just heard him on radio nigeria, saying how pleased he is to be invited to the Chan camp in Abuja. Its either this guy is about to be engulfed in Mikel man-u chelsea saga or he is about to disqualify the nigerian chan side for featuring an in eligible player. |
Y not Porto. This guy too like money. |
Enough is enough. Every club wey borrow Everton player, come carry your player back. E don do as e bi. |
Guy pure water business will work. Buy 2bags @ #100 each. And sell each sachet #10. You'er on 100% profit for each bag sold. |
I fear that bank. If you visit their branches in jos u'll hadly find anyone there only sleeping staff. No customer. I doubt if they can really pay workers well. |
