The era of fx gains for banks will certainly continue, atleast in q1 2024 as the naira continue to fall in price.
Seplat should increase their $ valuation for dividend as well.

Over the years many have expressed hope and many hopelessness, concerning Transcorp.
Transcorp will be 20 years old this November.
Nigeria needs entrepreneurs.

The more reasons more petitioners should join the court case to ensure no delisting.
If you know Nigerian judiciary very well, then you will know that what will be will be. I sincerely hope oando don't delist. But my country is too too corrupt and the set of people running the country at the moment, I no trust them at alll at all.

People with above 1m units of Oando shares should form a group and also join the petitioners against Oando delisting.

Just thinking aloud.
We don't know the position of the persons seeking to join the suit on delistment of Oando. They may or may not be against the delistment.

Thanks
With good timing, you can double that 100mil in Dangfoods. Just login to Nascon at the right price, collect your dividend and ride that dangfoods

Payment was made on Friday. Each scheme holder received N17.42 per share with 10% WHT applied. You can dm your full name if you're yet to get your payment. Your account is probably not mandated.
Its not necessarily about mandate. I tried mandating my account before the payment and was told its been automatically mandated using cscs. But I never receive kobo for my very few units. I mailed and after four days they acknowledged my mail only to say they will look into it. Very unfortunate

Some dividends alone will take care of their so called yield self.
Different strokes for different folks!
Those quick fingers, the sentiments. Thats what we all fear. No one knows how far they will fall thise shares.
I watched my UBA and Access fall from 30 to 25 and the serious impact it had on my portfolio. I had to sell half of it and port to Nascon which is far cheaper than Dangflour. I
Atleast if dangfoods comes on, whatever loss will be recovered. I have heard people suggest 350, 200 etc as target price for dangfood. But 150 is my target. if e reach 150 I will be satisfied, my banking stocks together with their dividends will not give me same returns by that time.

Its very funny that all those advocates that left Òando secretly never said so publicly like they did when they were advocating, until they had safely offloaded.
That is why newbies are always warned in this forum to do their due diligence, cos that prophet wey you dey follow anyhow no too sure wetin him dey tell you.

Sometimes these things are very simple to predict. You see OANDO, it must touch N16 before April court case. Shareholders will try to make sure that the three months price before delisting is in the bag. So you don't have to sell at loss, except you can't afford to wait.

Again, why sell your NASCON or Dangote Sugar when the destination is almost known except you need the cash. Some of these things are just easy!
I sold most of my banking stocks to enter Nascon. Let me just wait there. I pray to get more transcorp on lower prices. May they unbundle in our favour.
I no dey buy FA or TA again. Wetin I dey buy na CA (corporate action)

This is good!
Shareholders of Oando would not just sit idle and allow some shenanigans to take place in broad daylight.
Now we need to know and see faces of the people behind this attempt to rob innocent shareholders of their investments.
My only fear is that the case will linger for longer time. Except their is a settlement out of court, be sure that the case won't be concluded this year.

How you wan buy for 15.45 again? huh
Or you mean 14.45?

Besides, anyone wey wan commot make e commot make others see road..... smiley
They place buy order at the highest price so that if it goes the other way and there is full offer, the order fails and they don't lose money.
But if the news is positive from the court then their order at the highest prices might go thruogh on full bid.

Nascon: 68.80
Dangsugar: 80

It seems they use Nascon to enter the dangfood, reason why they don't let it rise too much in price.
Nasco sold over 1million units today, yet no rise in price.

Even if it is $1 million, it is commendable. If we had many indigenous companies like that repatriating funds from foreign operations, Nigeria would be in a much better position.
It is no droubt commendable, and I cannot in anyway criticise dangote for that. I only have reservations on the fact that our biggest export is not substantial enough as to affect the exchange rate.
It also goes to the question of why the british pounds is valued higher than our currency. British companies bring in over 50billion pounds per year while ours is less than 3billion pounds.

Same way, Dangote Cement in Cameroon, Congo, Ghana, Senegal, Sierra Leone, and other countries likely repatriated money back to Nigeria from its foreign operations.
Lol. How much did they repatriate.
Dangote cement as a company has a total (home and abroad)revenue of less than $1billion

What is UK producing that is making GBP stable against they dollar..UK has a nation is always in trade deficit
They know how to play the game. Go to UK you will hardly see any foreign currency aprt from the pounds, and you hardly send their pounds out.
They also highly restrict trades in foreign goods especially food items. They bring all sorts of barriers in the name of standards and test that ensure that you hardly import. They consume mostly UK items and still export to african countries while rating our goods as substandard.
They also have many multinational companies that like shell etc that bring in lots of revenue.
They also somehow benefit from our poverty and corruption such that we provide them with cheap labour, fund some of their institutions through billions we (and other african and asians) pay as school fees etc most of their banks and real estate are financed with stolen money from africa.
Finally they have a very very effective tax system.

Shouldn't Transcorp hotel take the award for the most manipulated company? a trillion Naira company with 60kobo EPS, I pity unsuspecting investors who bought it expensive sha.
We dont know yet why it has been flying. Could some form of Ote$ be involved. Mind you the majority shareholders in transcorp hotel are
1) The federal Government
2) Transcorp.
These two own about 87.2 of the total OS.

Its not necessarily the result that is pushing this one
I think someone is buying at all cost maybe to force a takeover.

Truely, market has a mind of its own. Just imagine someone after yesterday's 10 10 loss, deciding to cut his loss by selling early this morning, only to realise that the same stock made maximum gain at the end of the day. Hmmm
