BabsO2: Stanbic IBTC operating expenses also up by about 30%. ETI's up by only 9%. NB's expenses up. Ikeja Hotels expenses Jumped. Looks likes cost of diesel is hitting all companies hard. Some companies will find it easier to pass it to customers. And increase their revenues to offset these costs and still deliver profits. While some will just have to take a cut in profits. So which companies will reap from this increased diesel costs? First bank hade to reduce operating hour from q2. Here in owerri, first bank branches open by 10am similar to some other states. All in a bid to cut cost. We are in trouble in this country. |

BabsO2: GTCO ops expenses has shut up by N7b (about 30%) comparing 2021Q1 with 2022Q1. Is this due to diesel or what?
On initial glance, Their investment securities interest income looks restored. Cost of diesel and other economic factors will definitely hit companies. Tax also went up for the bank. |

Mpeace: My village people have asked me to buy transcorp, and I dont want to disappoint them. Instead of recalling, you would have just gone through my previous posts to see this one. On the contrary, I actually bought additional units at 0.98. . Last time I sold transcorp, was before the result, and I sold at an average above 1.20. |

yMcy56: TRANSCORP See vexing today......@1.12
IKEJA HOTEL : Sighted at day's high.....1.55....
*Caveat: Not any form of advice o* When my village people asked me to buy transcorp, they said it should get to 2.5 before year end. 1.12 is just anticipation of q1 result. If they sustain the momentum as per q4 2021 accross all quarters of the year, then 2.50 will be too small |

yMcy56: Lol. Total was up with +14 already.......from opening price of 220.30.... Don't know what's up with Total yet, maybe Q1 will help it's ministry...
FIDELITY on the other hand didn't fall below open price of 3.70 yet, currently sighted @3.80 and will still likely find it's way back to N4..
Why should FIDELITY fall your portfolio btw? Thought you've been seated in the bus since the time of N1.70 or thereabout? My portfolio value as at friday last week(as seen on morgan capital dashboard) went down this morning. At the begining and end of every trading day, I check my dashboard to see the value of my portfolio, then i look for the stock that has affected it negatively or positively. Meanwhile my average price for fidelity is now 2.71. I did serious addition of the stock to my portfolio. |

seyisanya: It seems some investors read this report upside down with the way they're dumping UCAP despite this result. Well, this is an opportunity for those who have been wanting to join UCAP to begin to test the waters gradually. Not so. Its profit taking. Those that bought at 12.7 and lower have made good gain and are in a good position to sell. |

If they want, they can make it automatic from the moment you buy ur shares the registrars already have all details including accounts. But they wont. |
