Market is still reacting to the US Fed Rates hike. By monday we should see our market back on track. But on a very serious note, we need to reduce the influence of foreign investors on our markets. It exposes our market to negative effects of foreign actors. If US raises rates, our market reacts negatively, if the reduce rates our market remains where it was rather than react positively. |

ebuka1997: Will oando stock price rise of tinubu wins? He may give his nephew some oil and gas deals. I thought of this the very day Tinubu was declared APC candidate, and the conclusion I reached was that it could go any way. They might use the impunity that comes therefrom to manipulate the shares, they could also use it to strip the company of any life that still remains or they use the advantage to add more assets to it. But this will all depend on whether APC can clinches the sit of power. |

Transcorp and their yeye bids/offers
Which one is 55million bids vs 53million offers. In short, transcorp is on full bid and full offer at the same time. |

yMcy56: These 3 stocks are mainly the ones one heavyweight is selling: GTCO, ZENITH, UBA........ Election is coming, could it be that some politicians are offloading to get liquid for campaign?? Could it be one moneybag eying oil biz or Otedola trying to generate more fund to buy one/or more of the integrated power project that the FG planned to sell?? Guess the same guy/entity was crossing Access, Fbnh and Fidelity before now........ Well, whatever it is, we keep watching Mr. Market....
UCAP: Someone sold down to 12.40 earlier......and it immediately jumped back to 13/13.05....... Two 5Ms suspicious on offer table.........why didn't the seller clear available bids?
Lol. Don't mind me, just thinking out loud.... Company that will soon come to raise capital after the price manipulations Answer: seller want to sell at higher price. As soon as much bids come at 13, he sells down to 12, then manipulate back to 13 and allow bids to grow |

As for FBNH, risk takers should just keep eye on this space as well.........let them keep dumping it..... They forgot that if Otedola exited around 874million units for reason best known to him, it's another heavy duty that's buying............we keep watching how the billionaires are playing the game.... I am still in Transcorp oh. Wanted to add more, but it flew to 1.30 from 1.23 the very day cash came. LETS JUST WATCH. I still want to add more at sub 1.25 |

Infact, there appears to be renewed interest in nigerian banks by the money bags. See Union too. Otedola and Co are truly after the control of fbnh and this should reflect on the price very soon. |

Nigerialabalaba: if we follow d sec rule o, Titan no dey under compulsion to buy out minoroties shareholders o. Na if major investor hold less than 80% na hin u must come floor come buy at least 5% from d popular side. As tins dey so, I doubt if Titan go buy shishi so me I no tink say e pay to continue to hold UBN if u don get capital appreciation dia already.
Titan na shaq and u minority shareholders na be baby handbag.

Titan purchased UBN @7 Naira.......poor price I may say for a whole UBN!! Dey don scam shareholders.
What if Titan won't buyout the remaining minority?
They may decide to change Union bank name and go as private coy or list on NGX..........maybe this will be beneficial to minority shareholders instead.

sidonlook: FBN dividend is poor when compared with the increase in profit after tax. Perhaps retained profit for possible bonus issue in 2022Fy. Much of the profit was from Atlantic oil loan repayment of over 140billion naira. It appears Honeywell loan repayment and Airtel share sale has not yet been captured(not too sure though) |

BabsO2: I noticed nothing recorded against former FBNH directors as holdings at time of writing Q1. Doubt if they sold off everything. Perhaps they decided not to show their current holdings as they are no more directors. But then a foot note needs to be inserted to prevent ambiguity.
I noticed current directors don't have FBNH shares. That doesn't look good. current directors holdings as at 2021 is seen on the extreme right. But nothing appears on the 2022 column. But also notice that Tunde Hassan Odukaleholdings increased substantially as against zero holdings in 2021. It appears the battle for control of fbnh might still be on.

The way they were packing it, one would have thought there'll be special Dividend self.......would have been better if they'd released the result earlier too.
It's well. We wait for the Corporate announcement. Yes, we pray they the give a special dividend wen their corporate announcement is out. But the result shows they are close to catching up with gtco and zenith. |

Transcorp took majority shares while the federal government retained some with other investors on NSE holding just about half a billion shares. Find below the share structure of transcorp holding:

Fuckyoumod: When have they released a criminal on bail in Nigeria with 24 hours? This is Nigeria, our laws only exist on papers. You are here quoting laws, go and commit and expect to be bailed with 24 hours. A presidential candidate should atleast obey the law, if nothing but in this period of electioneering campaign. This is when politicians act good. If this is his good act, then wahala dey |
