If I decide to sell all my transcorp today, I will just move the proceeds to Zenith without delay. See volume. Over 280million units so far.

Mpeace ! Another risk don show oo (CCNN) weytin you think ?
The whole deal is not too clear to me. CCNN shareholders will be serious minorities in the new company. The 35naira valuation is not too different from the 66 naira FO stuff. Its all paper stuff.
Me think the current demand/bull is due to a certain shareholder trying to enhance his position by accumulation, pending the completion of the merger.
My opinion though.
Cement business is looking sweet, but one has to be careful cos what's happening in the breweries can also happen here. Big players are on the increase.
I see better opportunities in Zee/UBA/FID/FCMB

Issorite. We will wait for it at the bottom. sad
My sister, that was when I first considered the company. But it was not too late. The stock was at 7.85 or there about, at that time.

But on another note, the company did not do so bad. If you have it, don't sell at a loss.

If you look closely at the result you will notice that the loss was due to discontinued business/operations. This might have something to do with the rights issue on UPDC. I may be wrong.

UACN RESULT BIG HIT BELOW THE BELT??

This result is a big dent to UACN. I wonder how UAC Properties will be able to survive as a stand alone entity.
I said it before, and I will say it again, there us nothing in this stock that makes it worth more than 4naira.
Let me also add " with all due respect to its promoters"

The result is very good. Although not so super, but them try.
Now I wait for fcmb.
Transcorp is the only company in my portfolio that is expected not to perform so well.
But anything can still happen.

Profit before Tax decreased by 293.46% to N-9.23bn from N4.77bn in Q3 2018

Profit after Tax increased by 25.66% to N13.07bn from N10.39bn in Q3 2018

Wale and his Confusion EVERYWHERE grin

Abeg Oga MPEACE.OGG. Agba. CP and Coy make una come explain this results oooo.
Tax credit of 22billion to the rescue.
without that it would have been another serious loss. I believe the company will make many rich one day but it would most likely be by way of acquisition not performance. I will not be surprised to see an offer to buy Oando at #50 per share.
But before that, they need to watch their back, cos the next move by SEC might be devastating.

Just wondering what you intend to achieve with this.......well, maybe to cause panic so people can sell their holdings at loss.
Many people including you, Peter and the person 'blessing you' have promoted one stock or the other here without anyone calling you names. You may do well by just 'countering' the 'promotion' with numbers and solid reasons.
Wondering what fundamental does AG Leventis have to make it investors' delight now....
No No No No... Don't get me wrong. I didn't call anyone names. "Promoters" is not name calling. I am a "promoter" of Access, wapco, transcorp and fbnh because I have and argue for them nothing else. I am not ashamed to be so called.
The benefit of this forum is the constructive criticism it offers. That's what helps us make objective investment decisions, and that's my own piece of it.
UPDC is to my opinion a negative on the whole deal. That's my simple opinion. If you do rights issue on a company of N1 with OS of about 2.5billion units by creating additional 15billion units, what else is remaining? What value can you place on it?
We are all here to learn, if you think am wrong kindly correct me, so that I can also join you guys to make the money. WE ARE ALL HERE FOR THE MONEY.
On AGLEVENTIS, its a different game altogether. There is a clear value to whole deal, just like diamond, dangflour and air services.
There is no clear valuation of UACN unbundling. Its all speculation.(including my opinion)

Is it still profit taking that is going on in UACN?
Lol. With due respect to its promoters in this forum, That stock has nothing to offer(short, medium or long term) if you do all the maths and allow all things to be equal, you are better off with zenith than buying UACN above 4.50.
UPDC is dead scrap, and after the rights issue, it becomes worthless. The amount of u-riet on offer + the uacn shares is what makes uacn worth 4.5

Disclaimer: my own personal opinion.

I keep smiling from the side line when I see that some persons fall for the 'set out plays' to give up on their holdings in UACN !!
Meanwhile the smart and WISE ones have been mopping them up. ...including but not limited to those in the 'NSE room'
I know its only gonna be a matter of a small time before those who sell off their stakes begin to read the many script of lamentations !!

I like the saying; "For every seller, there is a buyer... the future will prove which none of them had made a mistake."

We are here.

Btw, we acted out on the part in bold on Friday and hope to still do much more !!

...so to those selling off their stakes in UACN, pls sell more !!
For without u, we can not BUY more. wink cheesy grin
What in your opinion would be the fair price of UACN after the whole exercise.
