In my personal opinion, I think there is a special reason why Access bank result is not yet out. Maybe because its too bad or because its too good, but its definitely not for the reason they gave us that its due to post merger bla bla bla.
Result that had already been audited and presented to the board for approval since July and subsequently presented to CBN for approval. They should come with another story joor.
I just hope the delay is because the result is too good for this bear market, cos I dey heavy for there. Na the biggest part if my portfolio.

Good to know you are learning. Fundamentals are very important, but my fundamentally sound stock have not given me as much returns as the carcass/ dead ones.
Sometimes you just gamble with these things(with money you can afford to lose oh) and gbam they pay you.
I have done the needful on FO with part of my Dangflour loot. No risk no gain.

Every source of investment income seem to be bearish at the moment even sports betting.

Recall that they paid diamond bank share holders over 24billion naira(N1 per share) and still managed to pay their shareholders 25k per share. Sincerely speaking, they tried.
They will not however give any satisfactory excuse for an interim dividend below 20k

They are still cooking their result. They want to always stay ahead of UBA, but UBA seems to be better than them. SEC should come with a new rule, that every company must pay 50% of their earning, with that cooking practice will reduce.

If SEC brings up that rule, the bull that will follow NSE would not have part2.

Access to release result on 15th September. This is not fair at all.

All things being equal, the final dividend of UBA will be 65kobo, Zenith N2.50 and GTB at N2.50. I prefer to accumulate more of UBA and Zenith. If I see GTBank at N20 and Zenith at N12. I will still buy Zenith.

I think even at current price, zenith still has the best final dividend return to all of UBA, GTB, ACCESS and any other bank.

Hw I wish that zenith or gtb will just buy fidelity bank at 10 per share.

They held their Board meeting on July 26, 2019. They, however, did not disclose the outcome to the investing public. I suspect they will only be able to declare 15kobo in the H2 results that may likely come in this week latest.

They better pay the usual 25kobo or more oh. We no like backward movement.

Anyone that stayed in Diamond bank to the end knows that Carlyle Group did not lose more than anyone would have lost in most stocks on NSE(including Debit and gtb).
They are presently part of Access bank and as controlling members, they must have gotten even more than the 7+ compensation for the acquisition.

I get your point but pls don't use diamond as example.
I remember the day I got my N1 diamond/access compensation, I regretted why I didn't invest all my portfolio in the bank. I don't think any stock on NSE (apart from dangflour) gave as much return as diamond bank.

These guys are just approving H1 result to be sent to CBN, whereas Access bank that sent there's since a month ago has not received it back from CBN for release. WAHALA DEY OH
