True. And you even got the % loss I would have incurred. I had plans then to invest half of it in WAPCO. I think Waco was 12.5 then or thereabout. Can't remember now.

My brother, this thing can't take more than 3 weeks for you to get your money.United securities I know must refer you to your broker.

Meet your broker now and pay them to process the transfer form of all the stocks you have with them.

This was how I did to claim all my outstanding dividends in Aiico and wapic under the control of United securities.
I did that since march, before even the N1 became due. I repeated same last April. Yet nothing. Thats why I once asked here, how long it takes to process specimen signature form.

How far ? You don collect your 1 naira?
Not yet oh. The thing dey pain me. That money is more than half my portfolio, and my brokers no want understand. I still dey on specimen signature stage. But united securities keep sending me mails that they are yet to have my signature specimen.
This is the last one sent last week.

Dear Esteemed Shareholder,

This is to acknowledge receipt of your E-mail.

However, please be informed that we currently do not have your signature specimen on our records.

Kindly liaise with your stockbrokers to complete Purchase Transfer Form for the shares. Thereafter, the transfer form will be uploaded on your account and used as a signature mandate, without the transfer form dividend payment cannot be made.

We await receipt of your transfer form from CSCS.

Regards.

Why won't they slide into another recession when CBN guvnor and coy were busy cracking brain, looking for 115billion to plug the hole in their financials.

Its that account cooking we are talking about and they think FOREIGN INVESTORS are blind angry
If you read the news inside the quoted page you would notice the difference between the content and the headline. He did not really say Nigeria may slide into recession

If the mtn annualised estimate eps stand at #9.50, it means that those pursuing it have sole aim of jumping out before q2 result which will expose the overprice value of the mtn stock. If the EPs stand to be true, they should be in the region of GTB and Stanbic , that is #30/#50.

Region of what? Mtn is overpriced but not to that extent.

We at Transcorp need to learn form MTN. Even with their huge OS, MTN shareholders still refuse to sell thus leading to share price appreciation. We at Transcorp must emulate MTN if we want make money.

News as from monday, make no body sell anything until Transcorp hit me 20

MTNN NEWS FLASH!
Gentlemen and ladies, before we drink water keep cup, the borrowing has started already. grin

MTN announced on Friday that it has signed a N200 billion 7 years medium term loan with 7 commercial banks. MTN plans to use the loan to “fund evolving business opportunities, capital expenditure, and working capital.”
This follows a N200 billion syndicated loan they also borrowed in 2018. MTN currently carried a debt of N252 billion on its balance sheet.

This pple can easily take advantage of the stock market to pay off the loan with great ease. All they need do is raise their share price to 200 and with a 1billion units rights issue they have their 200 billion naira.

If you see at N150 that is good, they cannot get it below N180-N200...even brokers want to buy and they cannot get it, at the end brokers will sell it to their clients at above N200
But at 200, what is the point. They pay 80% of eps as dividend, good. But how much does that translate to - less than 10naira. Zenith will give a higher dividend return than that.

MTN, if una no go sell to me at 80naira, make una carry go.
Investment › Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Mpeace(m): 9:04am On May 17, 2019
No need to queue up for this mtn. At a certain price, it would become available. I doubt if any one here would get it below 150.
Just my thoughts.

But they did not give any notice that trading on the stock would commence tomorrow. It was just speculations and rumours.

Thus one is technical knock out for morgancapital customers. Since they don't participate in pre-market, them go kukuma wait until everybody done chop belle-full.

1.30pm would have given them a chance.

No doubt, mtn will open on full bid. No doubt some interested persons here would put in bids but may not get a single unit. No doubt the full bids would last for some days and price would consequently appreciate. That is the point where some of us would now enter and in the next couple of dayz you will start to hear "my portfolio is down by 10%" "I bailed out at tesere loss" "I will just keep averaging down" etc until mtn go come make us pay for the remaining fine, and the penalty for tax defaults etc etc
