skullbaba: To me he is just marketting himself as usual. He is good at dosing out figurs from his head/paper without correlation/reflection with reality. With all his big numbers we are still importing rice, so what did do ? I believe he was 'successful' because he was media friendly and he has a good oratory skill. That all. People are going to agricylture using the old obsolete skills because of poverty, we need a sound government backed agricultural sector And he's supposed to solve all Nigeria's Agriculture problems in one regime? |

JoeCutie: Asian countries! They take no sheeet from anybody. They make laws and enforce them to the letter.
• In China, if you're guilty of embezzlement, no matter how little the amount, you'd be served with the same fate meted out to St. Steven.
• In Dubai, UAE, even alcoholism lands you in a big trouble, to say the least.
• In Singapore, they once hanged their ex President for pushing drugs. Etc
Result: No wonder their economies are threatening that of the rest of the world now.
What a Continent!
• In Nigeria, you'd embezzle the sum of five hundred billion naira (500,000,000,000), EFCC will come after you, and after some Nollywood sponsored drama in conjunction with Wale Adenuga Production (WAP), you'd be arraigned before one hunger stricken Judge, you'll of course, be found guilty (na by that one? ), you'd then be asked to pay a fine of five million naira (5,000,000), you'll pay and what happens next? You're a FREE man.
What a country! Sums up the hopelessness of this country...I just Hope that this change actually begins as the New Government comes in. |

MegMich: What ever happens to life in prison.
Granted, lives are wasted and turned to vegetable, people should not be killed like fowls.
My thoughts tho! You don't argue with people's laws, the laws are stated clearly before the offense is committed, therefore if you choose to go against it - It is actually SUICIDE.

I think the Swesterners are the least travelled in Southern Nigeria. Many of them. know nothing about life outside their region.
I will encourage them to try and explore the world outside their cocoon.
Thank goodness for NYSC. It helps for some exposure though a little. What are we looking for? there's peace at home. Meanwhile the few of us who embarked on the journey by force due to NYSC had a different story to tell. Really, I don't necessarily enjoy bringing other tribes down, we all have our STRENGTHS and WEAKNESSES, but when a tribe makes it, their job to bring others down, then we've to start listing out their too OBVIOUS weaknesses. Meanwhile, if home is so great why the rush to get out as early as 13yrs old. |

GEJ never barred Sahara, by Buhari taking this move he is already taking things for granted and the people should show their displeasure. When did Sahara reporters go to interview Gej or cover his activities? I'm sure if Gej sees Sahara reporters he'll not only Barr them, he'll do more worse. You need to know your limits, you're not in Buhari's good book, why are you covering his activities? for another malicious documentary? |

"If I were president Zuma in South Africa, the issue [of xenophobia] would not have arisen," said former president Olusegun Obasanjo, to tumultuous applause from the impressed crowd. "First, I would condemn the action in very stern language. "Secondly, those who have made comments that seem to be glorifying the very bad act, no matter how close they have been to me, I would publicly castigate them, "Thirdly, I would make an example of a few of those who committed the act. And I mean that. Look - South Africa is one of the most developed countries is in Africa and will continue to be a leader in Africa. If they cannot accommodate other Africans on their soil, then they don't deserve to be leaders." WATCH THE VIDEO HERE! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EOI9d6kDZzo&feature=shareCc lalasticlala |

During the period the money was said to be missing, no state or local government ever complained of not being remitted or given its allocation for the month throughout the year. ashewopeckas: My prayer is for NO PRISON at all! If u want to spend 35years in prison and then 1year on the throne afterwards (based on your logic), then so be it for U IN JESUS NAME....Can u say amen now? Some people are just funny, I guess you like cursing, whatever you say doesn't bother me because I know your words are empty, what I mean, I mean, they're Deep (not logic) and deep calls to deep and not shallowness, the person who makes you go to prison for a purpose will definitely make you enjoy more than you've suffered, example - Job loss all he had, children, wealth, health in one day, God restored him back, but not only that, He gave him longer years so he could enjoy it. Therefore in the light of what I said I've not cursed myself but prayed for myself, you won't understand it if you can't. |

Ofornaira: What have igbos done to you guys? You are jealous of igbos because they are industrous. Just look around u, u will find out that most of the big shops around u are owned by igbos. The same is applicable to other places. I really don't know what to be jealous of about you people, I think the reason why not much have changed for you lots is because you don't tell yourselves the truth. Isn't it high time, you put your acts together and stop allowing people to be embarrassing you both home and abroad? You have this air of superiority complex, but it's you people that needs everybody else, why is your places not developed? why can't you stay in your lands? why are you the ones everyone seems to be pursuing. You are industrous, why can't you open those wonderful shops in your own states? your governors gets allocations like lagos and every other places, what do they use it for? You won't ask questions, it is others you will be blaming when they choose to control their environment since you don't like to be controlled. You will say Tinumbu is a thief, but we can see what Tinumbu is sending money on, Your own governors that are stealing mercilessly, where are the money going? When will you ask these questions? |

The difference though is that Igbos are not killed they're only shown their limits since they don't seems to know it, claiming that another person's land is 'No man's land', if you expect friendly hosts don't be hostile guests |

merzybenedict: #xenophobia occurs due to SA locals inability to think and tap into their potential thereby causing the immigrants to enjoy the fruit of their (SA) land.. Basically, this is the same thing happening to us Nigerians as well which is making us lose our glory to the expatriate... We all see opportunities we can tap into but we locals do not want to leaving it all to the Immigrants.. #Truth.... Like if you think I'm right.. No matter what reason why it happened, It's still their country and they have all the rights to get the best of it, Nigerian government should develope Nigeria and all these people seeking greener pastures should stay right here in their country, even if I want go abroad, I can't go to any African county no matter what. |

Tinubus empire growing bigger and bigger while Lagosians shrinking more and more. So what makes Agbaje a better candidate? we prefer Thiefnumbu that will steal the money and build something that everyone can see and some people even enjoy than Bode Goerge, Koro, et al, taking Lagos by the jugular - as no show dey federal now, these people will loot Lagos dry. |
