The OP has succeeded in having his pound of flesh against Igbo ladies. As for your claim of being a billionaire, dream on, nothing is impossible for God.

I Think Adeboye moves around with security men. Most local Redeemed pastors don't have private security. Which part of Lagos? I have a fairly good knowledge of Lagos.

The best protection these god of men need is to lead a modest lifestyle devoid of ostentatious display of wealth. That is fundamental ethic of the gospel, as clearly demonstrated by Lord Jesus. If Jesus is their model, they won't be preoccupied with material possession. This article fail to ask why are they prime targets for criminals? Some of them are stupendously rich to extend that they can be compared to politicians - whose means of wealth is often questionable. If criminals know they don't have money, they won't risk their life going after them.

Good thread please! I'm a teacher and an instructor, BT funny enough, in religious aspects... Arabic language and Islamic studies, for years oooo!
There is nothing remotely funny in teaching Arabic language and Islamic studies. Do you know that Arabic language is the most widely spoken language in Africa, while Islam is the second largest religion in the world after Christianity? You should be proud of your profession and the privilege to shape young minds.

Politics › Re: Why Does Africa Not Celebrate Her Heroes by mrblessed(m): 9:26pm On Nov 26, 2016
ToySoldier2:
I feel very sad tonight! One of my heroes just passed today. I expected the entire Africa to fly their flags at half mast for this great man, but I'm not really feeling the air of such.
Well, for those who may not know Fidel Castro was a major factor that weakened the segregative strength of appertheid South Africa. Single Handedly brought down colonial Marxist supremacy in Africa. Angola can tell the rest of the story. DRC can tell their own story. In all, an estimated 4000 Cuban soldiers died on the African soil.

Although Castro did this to spite the United States and all their allies who have always supported anything that destabilises Africa, his action saved a lot in Africa and he should be remembered for it.

We should no longer be afraid to tell Clinton and Obama that they helped Boko Haram to fester by blocking almost all avenues to get weapons thereby delaying the purchase of weapons for several months. If only Fidel was still as young as he was or he was still in power!
Constructive Comments are welcome
Fidel Castro, by any stretch of the imagination, is not an African hero. Africa, generally speaking, does not have genuine individuals who can be called heros in the true sense of the word. Fidel was a dictator; a cold hearted authoritarian, who brooked no dissent and routinely jail oppositions. As you rightly pointed out, his support for decolonisation in Africa was not borne out of love for the people, but a calculated undertaking to undermine the US government and promote socialist ideals. As a proxy of Russia during the Cold War, Castro was a willing tool in sabotaging western interests anywhere in the world. Therefore, your call for African countries to mourn his passing in a special way is seriously misguided. Even more appalling is your claim that he single handedly put an end to the infamous Apartheid government of South Africa. Nothing can be further from the truth. You seem overly read to give Castro more credit than he truly deserve. Can you in good conscience compare Castro's string-attached revolutionary activism in Africa to Nigeria's altruistic and selfless contributions to Africa? Castro's assistance has a price tag, while Nigeria's was given in the spirit of true African brotherhood. Thus, African leaders have done what is diplomatically acceptable by issuing statements expressing condolences to the people and government of Cuba. Flying the flag at half-mast is not only pointless, but an overreach.

Don't be fooled by responses you get here op.. Some nairalanders are hypocrites, eager to type without proper thinking for the likes.

You have a good mental cognition and I respect you for thinking out of the box.. The truth is sex is now a neighbourhood news. Overly rated and cheaply gotten.

When you see a guy and a lady together with the knowledge of their not being related the next question is...

Are they romantically involved? That includes sex. Don't blame your friend for asking such that what society has turned Man- Woman relationship into smiley
Aren't you naive to think the OP is different because he happens to type what seems to tick your boxes? How would you react if you are to discover that the OP is a hypocrite? Men and women are habitually guilty of bedroom banter regarding sexual escapades. In most cases, it is a harmless chat between and among close friends. Girls do discuss their boyfriends, including their sexual abilities. In fact, some ladies whose boyfriends are sexually active usually wear it on their sleeve. I don't know why men should be crucified for doing what most women do.

So you want to get married a virgin eeeh? Goodluckgrin
Is it a crime to get married as virgin? My grouse with the op is that she does not have a priority towards dating. My mind's mind tells me she is not yet mature. If she has a priority - her set of boundaries not be crossed - she won't bring this issue to nairaland.

My fear is that we might start having issues once he has sex with me
You sound very selfish with the above words. My hunch, however, tells me you are a freebooter. Perhaps you are in the relationship due to its material benefits. It is clear you don't have a priority towards dating. Pause for a moment and ask yourself why are you in a relationship. An honest answer to this question will help you sort yourself out. Running to nairaland with a BIG virginity tag does not substitute for a pious and principled lady. In any case, it betrays you as someone hellbent on keeping her channel of free goodies safe.
Celebrities › Re: Kemi Olunloyo: "Seun Egbegbe’s Charm Failed During Phone Theft" by mrblessed(m): 5:56pm On Nov 26, 2016
It seems pretty obvious that Seun is suffering from kleptomania, that is, a thoroughly compulsive tendency to steal. Most Kleptomaniacs often display this unfamthobly embarrassing and disgusting trait when they are in the midst of people - or when visiting a mall. However, Seun's case is unique because most high-profile kleptomaniacs don't usually steal expensive items. They often pilfer goods that are obviously beneath their social standing - in most cases, items they don't need. Given the prefixes that are attached to Seun's name, it is clear he is a celebrity - even if it is in the range of C-lister.

Masonic:
Really? Have you ever been laid down, oiled, massaged and fücked slowly till your brain shuts down?

Just two sessions, two sessions of that and i swear you'll have a totally different outlook at life in general.
Hahahaha. This dude is very funny. I am curiously amazed how sex will be the suitable therapy for a chronically depressed patient, who suffers from acute pessimism. No matter how good the sex is, the relieve will undoubtedly be momentary, not permanent. The patient is very likely to revert to her early state of mind after the 'good' sex. I am no psychologist. But I believed the process to getting healed is long, hard, and complex which the patient must be willing to accept. Fortunately, she has agreed she has a problem and has shown remarkable willingness to get treatment. The next step to take, invariably, is the function of a trained psychologist. A layman like me will, at best, make an informed guess.

did carry out a research to come to this ur final result?
First, it is ethnic group, not tribe. Tribe was a derogatory and dehumansing term used by Europeans to legitimize their vile and unconscionable activities in Africa. When you refer to your ethnic group as tribe, you are inadvertently lending credence to the discredited and racist Euro-American narratives. Second, you are not different from the people you want to chastised. The concluding part of your post betrayed a shocking similarities with those derailed and derided the message of the Op.

Nawa o. This is very harsh and purely unimaginative. How can you caverlierly profile an ethnic group in bad light, and still wish to appear sensible and dignified. It is absolutely unthinkable. It is as illogical as it is nauseating. Perhaps some of them might have wrong you, but it is not certainly the entire group. All ethnic groups have bad eggs - people who engage in questionable activities and drag the name of their ethnic in the mud. They are not the true representative of the group. For the record, I am no Yoruba.
