Thirty-five million Naira has been recovered from the armed robbers that raided four banks in Uromi, headquarters of Esan North-East Local government Area of Edo State on Thursday, February 24, Reports.

According to reports, shortly after the robbers fled the scene, Ubiaja youths were able to block Ubiaja Road by the rail line, forcing the robbers to abandon their cash-laden vehicles off the rail line and flee in motorcycles.

The vehicles and cash have been recovered and the money that was recovered was taken to Ubiaja police station where the total sum counted so far was pegged at N35 million, Reports.

Confirming this development, Bello Kotongs, spokesperson of the state police command said the recovered money was currently in the custody of the police.

A Nigerian Businessman, Iwuala Nnamdi, has called out a lady who needed money to pay for makeup training lessons but went ahead and bought a phone with N100,000 given to her by a benefactor, Reports.

Taking to Facebook, he wrote;

"You came to me and said you want to learn make up, I told you I don’t have money but I’ll try for you as soon anything came up, fast forward a week later," he wrote on Tuesday.

"I introduced you to a guy because you told me your problems. Without having anything with you he gave you 100k you went and you bought phone and now you came back to remind me of the promise to pay for make up lesson.

"Are you not abnormal, you are blocked from my inbox olosho if you ever make comment on this post I’ll block you Ode."

A Nigerian nurse, Kareem Oluwagbemiga Bright and his fiancée, have died in a motor accident few weeks after they got engaged.

According to Nurses on Air on Facebook, the car crash occurred along the Jos-Abuja road on Monday, January 17.

Late Kareem was until his death, an intern nurse at Federal Medical Center, Yola Adamawa State.

The couple got engaged in the presence of their friends and family members on December 6, 2021.

"It's so sad to hear the passing of a dear colleague, Nurse Kareem Oluwagbemiga, admin of @nursingcouncillecture and his fiancee. They both died after being a victim of an accident on Jos-Abuja road. This is a great loss to the nursing community. May the Lord console their family and the whole nursing community." Nurses on Air wrote via Facebook.

Friends and loved ones have taken to social media to pen down tributes to Kelvin Ese, a Nigerian man who died two weeks after his wedding.

They stated that they didn't know their last dance with Kelvin would be at his wedding which took place on December 25, 2021.

Recounting their moment together, Ese's childhood friend, Agbor Kingsley wrote:

THE FALLEN LIGHT

Even as I struggle to believe that you are gone and I will see you no more, Kelvin Ese Akpang, my very childhood friend the echo of the Former United States of America President Barack Obama's 'word' in this subject kept growing big in my thoughts, when he said:

"When I think about the depth of the grave and the kilos of sand that are going to be thrown at us, there is no need to harm my brother;

When I think of the darkness that pervades the tomb after it has closed, there is no need to hurt my sister;

When I think of the heat driven back by the ground and the amount of water that will drown me during the rains in this grave, I cannot make my neighbor suffer;

When I think that I will be alone abandoned by all, I prefer to enjoy communion when I am alive;

When I think my relationships are cut off by my past, I want to perfect my future.

If I could be reborn and start all over again, I would no longer make mistakes in my actions."

After a long meditation, I understood that all is vanity on earth even as our last conversation was full of hopes and better tomorrow. But Kelvin why, you never told me that you would leave your lovely wife alone exactly two weeks after she said yes I do. I want to State here categorically, Kelvin that you fought well with the Dead and you won. Your departure was not because you were weak but because heaven needs people like you.
