If you do not believe, keep quiet and allow their followers hail their OWN. Africa is not the only continent where people serve God. The biggest Church in the world is in South Korea (not Nigeria). Korea is still a developed country with globally acceptable hardwares! They have the biggest church in the world few metres away from the country's National Assembly. Ours is in Mowe, Ogun state, several miles away from Abuja.

Winners Chapel or RCCG in Nigeria, as opposed to what some want us to believe, is not the reason for our poor infrastructure and poor leadership. We are backward because we are backward mentally.

This is a sound warning to intellectual handicaps who always attribute our economic, social and technological woes to Religion, Christianity in particular.

See gobe. It is obvious that in the past (even as late as 1930s) Yoruba and Bini were joined at the hips. However, times have changed. Today, Yoruba is Yoruba and Bini is Bini. And that is the way it should be. The aborigines of Edo State are not Yorubas but the crown is definitely a Yoruba bloodline. And while I agree that the Bini Monarchy gets its authority from Ile-Ife (via DNA aka bloodline), they do not have to do that anymore. They are free to stand alone. For me, this is not even controversial. Live and let live. Most of what is happening is politics. Nigerian politics makes it difficult for people to admit the obvious truth. Smaller ethnic groups are very protective of their identity. Put yourself in the position of the people of Bini. With a population that is barely the size of little old Ekiti, you can see why they would react the way they do. Yorubas are arguably the most successful ethnic group in Nigeria. When you are this successful, bitterness and envy is usually what you get from folks who have not have it as good. But I worry that the Yoruba Nation is not as united as is necessary to continue to expand on our success, as the very nature of Nigeria continues to wobble as the years go by. I am impressed by the current Oni's resolve to do something about this. For this reason alone, he gets my support despite my reservation at some of his post-installment acts. The SW has always been the hub of Nigeria. We open our doors joyfully to all people. While this is a good thing, I believe its time for us to strengthen our unity and look inwards. Which of those items that you listed is not functioning? You complain about too much payment, yet an average of 700,0000 people are trooping to Lagos every day! The simple reason is because you get the services you pay for. Nigerians don't mind paying for services as long as the service is delivered.
People like you should know that there is no free lunch. You want constant electricity? Then be ready to pay for it - Period!
The only reason why I didn't support tariff increment during previous administrations is that WE KNOW it will be embezzled. However, with PMB, this is not the case. Even without the increment, we started noticing improvement in power supply.
I know some wailers will say its GEJ that did it (conveniently forgetting the ground works of OBJ). But I ask them why it is that we didn't see the result in GEJ's time. If you buy a generator in your house, won't the generator start working immediately or will it wait till you move out of the house and another person takes over before the generator start to work?

Having said this, Fashola must know that he has now put his name and reputation on the line! Tariff has now been increase by as much as 65%. He and his team had better make power available - otherwise we will not fail to utilize our voting power in 2019 to boot them out!
