Politics › Re: Collapse 36 States To 6 Zones, Ekweremadu Tells FG by MrGerald(m): 1:46pm On Apr 27, 2016 |
gidgiddy: This is a big matter of ethnicity because we were all ethnic groups long before we ever became Nigerians. We all came into Nigeria as ethnic groups and the regions must be comprised of ethnic groups that agree to be together. The so called six regions are a work of pure fiction. How can you tell the Ijaws of Ondo that they are in a SW region with Yorubas? How you tell the western Igbo, sometimes called Delta Igbos, that they are in a region with Binis? How can you tell the Igalas of Anambra and the Idomas of Enugu that they are in the SE? How can someone say that the Igbos of the lower Benue are in the NC when they have been fighting to join Enugu state for a long time? Or will you tell an Efik man that he is in the Niger-Delta with Ogoni? Who decides where who belongs? That is why there must be a referendum before the creation of any region so that the indigenous ethnic groups can decide for themselves where they want to belong. Creation of any region without a referendum is illegal and a complete nonsense. I think every ethnic group/tribe can integrate within the regional government under their geographical settlement or we'll end up arguing on creating more than 36 regional government in this country |
Politics › Re: Collapse 36 States To 6 Zones, Ekweremadu Tells FG by MrGerald(m): 10:06am On Apr 27, 2016 |
gidgiddy: Naturally, most Southern Nigerians would want the 36 states collapsed into 'zones' or regions. The North will be against it because it will end their political domination of Nigeria. But as an Igbo man, what I'm sceptical against is what the zones will look like, particularly in the area sometimes called SS/SE. I want know what happens to Igbo elements such Igbos of the lower Benue, Delta Igbos, Rivers Igbos and the Abi Igbo speaking people of Cross River. I also want to know if the Efik/Ibibio nation and the Ijaw/Edoid people can actually be in one zone or are they going to be two separate zones or would they prefare to join their Igbo neigbours as one zone? These questions need answering and that is why a referendum has to be conducted before the creation of any zone so that the people can decide which zone they want to belong to. this is not a matter of ethnicity but about regional government which we already have six geopolitical zones, with each having their own ethnic minority and can still be like that |

MissMercedes: Happy Sunday folks,
I was wondering if I'm the only one that feels weird driving with shoes on. Not necessarily heels, but any form of footwear. I feel obstructed, like, I won't drive properly if I'm not barefooted. Am I the only one? is because you're new on wheel, leave your shoes on soon you'll stop feeling obstructed |

Politics › Re: Saraki: Why Is Everyone Pointing Finger At Tinubu? by MrGerald(m): 9:43am On Apr 24, 2016 |
Gbawe: Entirely correct. I actually feel embarrassed for those from the SE obsessed with Tinubu, constantly wishing him harm and are always keen to point the finger of blame at him. Asiwaju has no time for them and continues to do his thing while remaining a mentor to politicians who want to succeed in the very murky and mercilessly treacherous water of Nigerian politics. Is Saraki a saint? Even if Tinubu is behind the travails of Saraki, can some emotional folks tell us whether Saraki did wrong or not?
Throughout the world, because politics is an arena of gladiators, politicians plot to bring down their enemies daily. That is a political fact mature and pragmatic folks accept. If you give your political opponents that you treacherously backstabbed 'ammunition' then why scream if they use it to nail you after you stepped out of line and arrogantly trod on powerful toes as if you are invincible? When Saraki was busy conducting a treacherous and deceitful election, while embarrassing his Party before the world, did people expect the APC to accept such an embarrassment that would only set an international precedence confirming the ruling Party as weak and impotent? It seems some emotional folks don't understand how politics is played ruthlessly around the world, to include even in the finest and oldest democracies, before they come here boring about Tinubu this and Asiwaju that. As if we do not know that the constant mention of Tinubu is the painful wailing of those envious of the man's political brilliance and ability. why are you SEphobia? did the comment you're responding to induced SE in your comprehensive ability, and do you believe that the people that define the modest government you're enjoying today has not produced classic politicians, tinubu cannot even be compared to them. it's not abt embezzlement of state's fund to become powerful and above all gullible followers. |

Omotaday: He is one of the founding member of the party, ok but what power does it have to be the one to choose the senate president ? Why him? We have Atiku, Bisi Akande, Obj, Buhari in this same party.

Politics › Re: Saraki: Why Is Everyone Pointing Finger At Tinubu? by MrGerald(m): 9:24am On Apr 24, 2016 |
Omotaday: Im an Ardent reader of this section. I have also been following the issue of Saraki. I need clarification on some issues. Why is everyone poiting accusing finger at Bola Tinubu? The Bola Tinubu i know is a formal governor of Lagos state and also a veteran politician, the last time i check he is not part of the federal executives, he is not a minister of justice, he is not the president of this country. Why then do people think he could have had the power to be punishing Saraki currently through the judiciary? Does he have the control over the FG and its arms? Why is everyone thinking he is behind Saraki case? Why is everyone blaming him for Saraki woes? Please i need reasonable clarifications. are you new in this country and how things work? the truth you'll tell yourself is better than the one others will tell you.... ru*bish |

Produce cars customised for the different states and regions of the country . Produce cars that are heat resistant and can keep cool under extreme heat for the North and cars that are corrosion resistant and can withstand floods for the coastal states Reach out to other states in the north and Lagos through very effective sales and marketing strategy. Strategies on how to penetrate the neighboring countries, support the brand with reward for loyalty and very good after sales support. telling him what he don't know already or rather have not started, I see envy here and there |
