While fasting, and then you go ahead to partake of the Holy communion, you have indeed broken your fast.

{y'all should endeavor to read your Bible, diligently, to know better}.

It's clear that you are not a Catholic.
Fasting is not excluded to any denomination. Anyone can partake in fasting and sustain it till it ends.

And, receiving communion does not in anyway break one fasting. Period.
