It's not what you studied in school that feeds you, it's what you can do after getting out of school that brings you income.

Innocent Chukwuma may not speak the best of English but he's making the best use of the limited opportunities in this country. As a Nigerian, he could have decided to conduct his interview in pidgin english or Igbo. It's left for the TV station to translate it.

Lawyers don't lie, they don't argue based on the truth but argue based on facts. What lawyers do is puncture holes in the facts.

Here's an example, you saw a white object and we all know it's white. However a lawyer would ask you if your eyes have never deceived you before. He would question your eyesight. He would ask you if have ever been slapped and everywhere looks white.

If you answer yes to any of those, he would now ask you that how are you sure your eyes weren't deceiving you when you saw the white object. It could have been yellow, black, grey, sky blue or even red.

If you dare say that your eyes have never deceived you, everyone in court would know you're lying.

Very simple solution.

1 Go to Oyingbo market and buy a big bag of unpeeled egusi.

2 When next you're going to work, say something like 'Aunty Chizoba, now that you're here, help me peel small egusi make we make small soup when I come".

3 Use paint rubber and pack a heavy heap of egusi in front of her let her peel.

Step out of the house, wear a smile and see what God will do.

I drove past this very bridge yesterday and this same thing almost happened. A fully loaded tanker coming behind me failed brakes and they had to clear the vehicles in front while they diverted us to another lane.

The driver of the tanker had to slowly grind the tyres of the tanker against the bridge side culverts in order for the friction to slow down the tanker. There were area boys clearing the road in front of the tanker in case the inevitable crash happened.

Those tankers usually have faulty brakes which disappoints them. Many people have died in that particular portion of the bridge butLastma officers are aware of this but they don't do anything about this madness.

What is the motive of the writer of this article? Is it to commend Zenith Bank? This is an unintelligent attempt at image laundering.

The writer is ignorant of the fact that Zenith may have fortified walls but they are the only bank who have been caught using customer's funds to sponsor elections. Can Zenith Bank try that nonsense in Ghana where the writer is from?

That raid was not by only EFCC, I heard FBI agents were also involved. Most of these fraudsters created fake Wells Fargo bank accounts used for fraudulently obtaining funds from the US. Now, the US government, Interpol and other international law enforcement agencies are fully involved in this.

They arrested suspected Internet fraudsters, Nigerian bankers helping them in their illicit transactions and many others.

This one making noise from jail is the least of their worries, bigger fishes than him have been caught and many more would be caught.

You're putting the cart before the horse. You don't need to take a policeman to a land transaction.

If you are buying a problematic land or you're about to be scammed, it should not be at the point of payment that you would discover it. You should get a land professional to undertake due-diligence on the land before you buy it particularly a lawyer and surveyor.

From my legal experience, community land transactions usually have problems and unresolved issues. I advise that you remain careful and not do anything in a hurry.

First things first, put off that transaction till Monday or later next week. Use this weekend to conduct proper verification and tell the sellers you won't pay until they fully cooperate and your lawyer is satisfied, documents drawn and proper parties present.

Under PDP, they had an Ikorodu indigene named Engr. Adeseye Ogunleye who was the Minister of Works but he refused to fix this road. While out of office, rumours have it that he got the contract to fix this very important road but he 'ate' the money.

Due to this road, the PDP and Ogunkewe have been so discredited in Ikorodu that despite being from Ikorodu, Ogunlewe's son couldn't contest there. He had to go to Kosofe to contest for the Lagos House of Assembly which he lost woefully.

Now, it's Fashola fixing the road.

The land borders were shut to vehicles from Benin Cotonou because it was the point of origin for most smuggled vehicles into Nigeria. Most vehicles from Cotonou do not pay Customs Duty and were usually smuggled. Hence, they decided to throw away the baby with the bath water by closing the land border.

Now, if a vehicle is bought from Cotonou and Customs duty is paid on it at Tincan to give the fraudulent impression that it was brought in from Tincan, no problem. You're attempting to help the FG achieve what they wanted howbeit illegally. It's not outrightly illegal but you're exploiting the weakness of the law. One day, you'll pay for that.

The day an overzealous customs officer insists on sighting supporting documents which you used to obtain your C-number, you may fall into a deep pit. That's the day you'll explain how a vehicle imported into Port of Cotonou found its way into Tincan Port at a time the land borders from Benin to Nigeria were closed to vehicle imports.

Reminds me of a former classmate who was delayed in Zenith Bank because he looked suspicious. He got an NGO to sue Zenith and the matter was settled out of court for an undisclosed amount but it was in millions. Dude became a big boy overnight.

Head or tail, that airline is gonna lose. Even if they are right legally and the facts favour them, they would want this matter to die down as soon as possible due to negative publicity it would bring. They don't want to lose their African and coloured flyers due to the sentiments attached.

They are already negotiating heavy dollars settlement and that's why even the woman's lawyers refused to talk.

That woman is the present DG of NAPTIP. She's presently one of the top-3 Nigerian women I respect most. She has been at the forefront of stemming the tide of human trafficking of Nigerians.

There was a time that CNN held a program which was broadcast all over the world. This woman and several Italian Justice, Police, Immigration and other foreign dignitaries were there as discussants.

When she started asking the Italian authorities present about the culpability of Italian and European countries in the trafficking and slavery of Nigerians and backing them up with facts, you should have seen grown Italian and European men stammering and looking at themselves. That day, I felt really proud of being a Nigerian.

To those ignorant miscreants making fun of her, that woman is fighting tooth and nail to ensure you don't die as illegal migrants or fugitives and vagabonds in Libya ot Europe.
