FX: So anybody lower than your standard is broke. Records and standards are broken every day. So tomorrow when the people below you passes your level, then you now become the broke person. And what's your standard? So for your mind, your comfortable abi. Suffering and smiling Do you mind the shallow thinkers. |

lovethchioma: I'm wondering if the guys lashing the Op actually read the piece clearly ... and if they did, then it's quite obvious they lack comprehension. Everything she said Is totally true... most of the guys being unnecessary angry at what she wrote are struggling guys trying to find direction in life.
Let me make it simple there's nothing wrong in dating a struggling guy who has vision, who is hardworking, who has ambitions. I would want to struggle with my guy till we both make it together. That will be our success story. If he happens to be rich, good all the same. What the Op is trying to say is if he is still struggling and all he has is hope and unrealistic dream.. which you both know can't happen. There's no point wasting time.... I mean I have met and seen these kinda guys too. Just run for your life. Just the same way Men do not want liability ..is the same way Women too would not want that. If I am working hard to be successful I'll need a hardworking guy with vision to compliment it... Except you want to enjoy poverty for the rest of your life. Safiaa you are a strong lady, I don't think I'd have had the strength to reply everyone esp those who just want to spill trash to feel relevant like you are doing.... some Guys with their reasoning sha. Chai, how ignorant are those who claim they are wise. Perhaps you understood more than them. |

alexialin: Well well well A broke guy should concentrate on making money and chill on relationship. Cause I remember when I was broke, guys didn't take me serious. Even though I was extremely beautiful, slim and innocent babyish face when I was younger. But now am above comfortable, plump and still pretty too.. Everyguy is inlove ALexia. One stranger from nowhere contacted me through Watsapp ,all the way from Portharcourt that he when he saw my pics online, he couldn't sleep nor eat, then went all the way to a mountain in Ibadan, prayed and fasted for 7days, and viola! God said am his wife.. Lol and with the wrong man. He is the rightful man for me. I laughed. Another one from Apapa, saw my pic on Fbk and said God directed him to me and he has to marry me I shake my head. I don't fucvking know u guy! Na so dem dey marry? So many requests coming up from guys all over. I just shake my head. When I was broke and trying to survive and make ends meet. I was virtually invincible in all their eyes. I had to shelve relationships after been heartbroken several times and focus squarely on how to build my career and make money.
My fiance now with me is the only guy who stood by me during the lowest of my low times and didn't see me as an ATM machine .Even as comfortable,as I am now, he still pays some of my bills, with a huge smile on his lips, saying don't worry babe I will take care of it.
So lefulefu if my man is not in my life as we speak? I ain't dating a broke guy mehn. Them sef no date me when I broke. Tit for Tat. The Tit for Tat was very funny, yet was the summary of everything. Exactly the reason why guys hate broke ladies, holes who can't provide for themselves or ask their brother to do the same. The graph of relationship is not linear, it has no formula, so don't take it to be. I just dislike a broke girl, she only have her hole to offer. |

zolapeperenpe: You are so right,I know 3ladies who got married to jobless 'humble' guys, I swear years down down d marriage these ladies were breadwinners of d family, immediately d useless husbands land themselves better jobs, they evaporated into thin air, one of them was my close aunt, imagine taking care of 3kids nd hubby for 17yrs only for him to deny his family as soon as he land himself a good job! God punish poverty and na broke guys dey fake humble pass.
But the question is: are you people(broke guys) even comfortable/happy with your current status before inviting wives/kids to your miserable lazy lives?
Oshi odanile Pako! Mtshew Your last paragraph spoilt everything. Maybe you first tell your brother such trash. |

johnson232: How come everyone is having comprehension problem? It obviously bespeaks something is wrong with your post. Your post is lopsided & designed to encourage laziness....at the sametime contradictory....Why drag men into it in the first place? You could have advised your fellow ladies to strive for success without alluding to using men as tools! that is why alot of guys are finding your post appalling, because in the real sense it is demeaning...Men are no f00ls....& the manner in which u use the word SMART is questionable. U are just using the word SMART as a smokescreen...Next time u wanna advise women....do leave men out of it.... Exactly the same thing I told her, I posted before you. God bless you. To me, she just got a little work giving her little money and she is talking trash |

cooldood: Guys face your hustle and work, and start earning some income before thinking of a babe, babes aint wired to hustle by their very nature.Even God gave Adam work to do before providing him with a babe (Eve). Dont come crying on nairaland when your babe start showing you her other side when you cant meet some of her needs/ demands. And by the way, guys try to cut your suit according to your size. Dont start chasing after a babe that was never raised in a humble background but raised in wealth and expect her to hustle with you, its just basic, dont blame her, she's not a gold digger, she just doesnt understand what hustling mean.
Once again, guys face your hustle and shine your eyes!your own babe that fit you will come. Quite shameful, coming from a guy. |

Safiaa: Yawns. Reading has become a task that many Nigerian men fail to do. Bye boy! I have taken the time to go through every comment both from you and your readers and I have made some observation thus far. I have read your constant use of the word "reading & comprehending". It is shocking how you assume sole ownership or understanding of what truth is? when people have different view with you does not imply that you understand something better than they. On a more serious note, I read your write up many times trying to find what is hidden that people don't understand, and I found nothing. The truth is that you got a little cash and your thinking changed. You feel you are comfortable, and you don't need the input of a guy, he only need to have vision and dream with his own money. Trust me, many ladies are growing towards this and it's interesting to realize that. In conclusion, you wrote well and must be proud of whom you are growing to be. But one thing that is certain is that you are not a man and you don't and will never understand how they think and what they are passing through. |

2. How much are they paying in schools and private firms
3. Will you be paid monthly or till end of service year 1. No other benefit from the state polytechnic. Just that you will have time 2. The payment depends on the firm or organization . 3. The pay is on monthly basis |

bejite: Oga OP, I served in Kano too (Yankaba area was my place of residence). I was originally posted to Tauruni LGA and a moslem school. I asked them to repost me. My PPA was Calvary Life Assembly headquarters (nomansland). Agree with the points except the fact that it is more beautiful than Enugu. I frequent the states and can tell you that Enugu is more beautiful (kano is beautiful too).
Light na still wahala for that side.
Water na big luxury o! Bros, you don't move around enugu than I do. so don't tell me about enugu, I have seen it all. Kano is more beautiful than enugu |

Corpers are running away from the cost of things there, so don't use it to judge other parts of Kano. |

Pamelayoung: Then after your service what happens to you? You're thrown into the oversaturated labour market in search for job...like starting your life afresh. Though I don't subscribe to Abuja don't know about Akwa ibom, its Lagos and PH all the way. Madam, did I complain to you? If you have job, alright, others will get. Keneeby: Akwa ibom is peaceful, warm weather, serene environment and more jobs and business opportunities. How many Corps members have died in Akwa Ibom this year? When you are done answering that, what do you mean by serene environment? Kano is a beautiful place, I have been to Akwa Ibom many times, UYO and Oron, so what are you saying. Oil jobs? where are there. You compare business in Akwa Ibom to that of Kano? maybe I have just heard it enough today |

godsonQS: pls, it belittles a person wen u spread falsehood, there is no denying the fact dat kano is a gud option wenregistring for ur NYSC. But pls avoid lies at all cost. Am a serving corp member in kano state wit one of the govt parastatal, get this straight dere is nothing like state allowance not even 1NAIRA. But PPA giv ranging from 1200 like those in ministry of works, housing and transport. 1500 ministry of budget and planning, nothing in ministry of education, 2000 in kano polytechnic and all d above dont ve accommodation 4 corpers bcus d corpers are more than d available spaces. Other PPA giv tokens as much as 5k including schools. The only schools dat giv above that amount are Nasar acadmy, Abu hanifa, andal academy and the likesif u r lucky dere is accomodation in those schools. There is no pepper for 10Naira. Transport na die here o esp those keke. Pls dont let anybody decieve you make the choice you mind is out for. As you have chosen to lie upon yourself then let it be. PM and I will take you to buy things, there you will see pepper, onions and tomatoes at the listed place. Secondly, Kano state polytechnic has a comfortable Corpers lodge, so stop the lies. I accept that ministries of works pays N1500 for those who will work their way there, its a punishment to them. For the state Allowee I have said something like that. Abu Hanifa pays N7k with Accommodation, food, medical care and the rest. Nasara Academy pays 7k with accommodation and the rest. so where did you get your information from. |

Tajbol4splend: Bro if u choose to believe me, it will pay you because I'm currently serving in Kano
1. Kano state government does not pay allowance unless they start tomorrow
2. That things are cheap is not everywhere but depends on location of ur ppa, if you live in Sabon gari where I live, you will buy things like u are in south south or south east
3. Electricity is only good in few places but not everywhere
4. The people there who are good are really good but the silly people there are extremely, my brother, extremely, pls what did I say, extremely annoying
Mind you, all I'm telling you is not to condemn Kano, it is a nice place to be, a really developed place that I'm planning to stay on if God accepts my wishes but I'm only trying to correct the wrong notion this post may have created in u. You live in a place people are running away from. You were happy you got posted to where igbos ND Yoruba came to do business right? they are using your Allowee to do business. I am the CLO, gwale local government and I am telling you that the state government will start paying beginning with A2016, the schedule officers have submitted names and from the last info I got, the cheque has been signed |

Please, next time, keep Enugu or any other part of Igboland out of your ramblings. Kano is not more developed than Enugu. Yes! It has more population,,but that's where it ends. Thanks. Lol.
