oladayo63:Lol. You shouldn't have left nah boss. It's better to leave my job than to leave Fiverr. Lol. All you would have done was to edit your gig. When cryptocurrency was booming, I edited my dormant article writing gig to cryptocurrency books. People were buying that gig and to be honest I charged $150, $200 and $350 for that gig. Yet, the traffic was very high. I regret the fall of cryptocurrency, it's been over 5 months I got an order on that gig. Keep modifying your gig and your services to reflect your current skills and prices. No need leaving Fiverr. Selling $5 and still have to wait for 14 days for $4 to clear is something I don't have patient for. Someone I helped get started on Fiverr earned $1700+ this month. For the first time, he earned more than I did in a month. He currently have 11 orders in queue. He has advised me to reduce my gig price. Honestly, I can't imagine struggling to complete 11 orders in queue. This hustle will not take my head. Lol |
awoofawoo:Have you sold? What's your rate? I can pick it up. |
awoofawoo:Boss, abeg, drop your email for your boys. |
oladayo63:The inactivity on this thread has nothing to do with sales. Sales increased since this year, actually for me. I have not made anything less than $1k monthly since this year. I may make less this month though (but very very close to $1k) but not because of loss sells but some little ill luck that will push my big orders to be marked as completed on 1st May. Also, I reduced the rate I accept jobs. I only take the ones I can do comfortably. What I did this year was to increase my gig prices. So I take orders of $340, $400, $200, and lastly $150. So if I complete 5 of this in a month, I am sure of $1k. I have also been very busy in the office too. Combining the two of them plus personal life has kept me off this thread for sometime. However, I reply whenever I'm mentioned. My recommendation is to go for a high traffic areas. Fiverr these days works best when you strategically get started. Don't go to Fiverr emotionally or by seeing the amount people make. Everyone has separate paths on Fiverr. |
So mine is by 12pm tomorrow at their headquarter, Abuja. As I didn't upload my SOP, I will be going with a hard copy and a request to edit my application and upload the SOP. Someone should confirm that the SOP is one page. |
NwanyiAwkaetiti:It doesn't work |
bataderemi:That's not the reason bro. Invites were not sent to only first class graduates and successful ones will not be only first class graduates. |
Preshy561:You told me. |
mosho2good:Bro, she is not planning same. You've got to move on. A d.ck somewhere is already doing wonders. |
alert01:@ the emboldened, I started the application and paused it without submitting. I had to continue when I got to Abuja yesterday. My venue should be in Abuja. There is no precise location. |
PrestraphD:I didn't even see where to upload SOP. For sure, I will go to the interview venue with it. That's a huge mistake we have made. Lol. Didn't know why I didn't see where to upload SOP |
Nyerhovwo101:I applied for reduction of withdrawal limit. |
alert01:Yes boss. PTDF ABUJA already sent me a message to update my application. I'm almost done shaa |
Gaspardd:Even if we are on a $700 minimum wage, its still not enough to spend too much on a date. Little analysis. From the comments above, let's say 10k is the minimum one should spend on a date then he would be called an average guy. Imagine going on a date 4 times a month. 1/week, that's like 40k.This is aside the normal hangouts with guys that should take like 5k/week. Now, most people that posted here are on a 50-80k Salary. Spending more than half of their salary is plain stupidity. |
Gaspardd:You have to understand something brother. 1. How rich we are is not in the money we spend on dates but the money in our account and how well we take care of ourselves. 2. It is completely your choice how much you want to spend on a date. From your posts, it's obvious you struggle to make money just like some of us are doing, however, you must understand that things isn't the way it should be in the country again. Guys who went before you spoilt the road, they monetized everything including dates. This is not the way it should be but that is the norm now. 3. Some of the ladies insulting you and calling you out are broke. They do not have up to 500k in their account let alone 1m+. Most of those ladies up there still beg for subscription and phone money. Ignore them bro, they are broke. Those ladies has never spent a dime on a date, however, they believe a guy should empty his account on a date they will only take pictures only for Facebook. 4. Like someone said, life is in classes and whichever class you belong to, just do the right thing. 2k may not be cool for a date but it's not bad if it's your choice. Personally, I spend more on a date but it doesn't happen always. 5. Don't allow posts here to get to you, ignore the team "I pity your wife", those ladies end up with a broke man. In fact they date broke people who spend their life trying to please women with money. 6. If you meet a deserving lady, one who is honest and homely and who has contributed something meaningful to your life, do not hesitate to spend on her. If she deserves it, treat her like a queen. But If you meet the kind of ladies talking trash on this post? You might have to reduce your budget. 2k is too big for them. 7. Remember, no matter how much you spend on a lady, if she sees a bigger maga, she will boycott your life. Most of them don't worth it. 8. Make money, make more money, buy properties, get yourself a ride, live in a cool place, spend on your parents, wife and siblings and ignore the rest. Until women calls you a stingy fellow, then you are not financially responsible. Ignore comments from struggling guys here. Some of them are students and corpers. 9. Again, remember, nairaland is a faceless forum. Everyone is a millionaire here and spends billions of a date. |
MizMyColi:Lol, last two weeks, I paid a writer for a book I never used. I didn't complain; however, I sent her the used book. I have said it before and will keep saying it, the best way to handle this is to get jobs you and your team can do. There are several risks involved in hiring new writers. |
Juscam. The shoe I bought on Jumia since last year is sold same price during different promotions and Black Friday. Scam Easter promo |
MizMyColi:Sorry for your experience with him. He is has proven to be a very dishonest and unrepentant criminal. If there is a way to report a seller on Upwork, I think his account can be blocked if Upwork support receives many report from different people about a particular seller. We need to take him down pending when nature will reward him of his evil deeds |
DerrickM:Thanks bro. Maybe you should allow your fund to accumulate to a certain amount before withdrawing. The times I was charged additional $20 were withdrawals that are less than $1k. All my withdrawals that are $1k+ landed same amount with no extra deductions. I can't confirm if the withdrawal amount is the reason for additional charge. Anyway, we have to keep trying. |
Grupo:Boss, I used the withdraw to Bank method for the first time without any any charge. The next time I tried it, I was debited extra $20. That was when I posted the comment you referenced. After that, I paused from withdrawing to bank. But later decided to try it again and since then I haven't been charged any extra $20. Though all my withdrawals has been above $1k. |
vickertony:Lol. I am not doing anything special bro. It's God's Grace. I do not write articles or blog posts. I also do not spin articles or use any writing software. |
awoofawoo:I decided to use the withdraw to bank method and no other charge was deducted save the payoneer $15. I have made 3 other transactions with no extra charge deducted. I even withdrew yesterday and it landed the same amount. That has been my experience boss |
Dignity5:Simple, the difference is the landing currency. If you withdraw from $$ to $$ account, your $$ will land as $$$. But if you withdraw from a $$ to NN account, your $$$ will land in Naira. The second scenario is then dependent on the banks exchange rate. Imagine sending $100 to a fidelity bank, Bank that is looking for more forex, when they see that small amount, they will kuku exchange it @305/$$$. But when you send same to a Dorm account, the $100 will land as $100. You can either withdrawal it and go to Bureau De Change and sell it @350/$$ or you can send to me at relatively cool rate. lol Bro let's forget about these English, everything is about getting more value from your fund and nothing more. People complained that Payoneer ATM when used in First Bank's ATM currently exchanges at 290/$$, I am sure you won't want to experience such, because it is a waste of effort and work done to earn that money becomes a waste. |
I am deeply sorry for the loss ma'am. However, I observed that when the mum was called by 2:19 pm, she came from the house not her work place in few minuted. This implies she isn't working and she also has a nanny. I can imagine what it is to take care of kids at such delicate age. 5 months means the kid is still sucking his/her mum's breast. If the husband is aware that a 5 months old baby was registered in a creche when the mother isn't working and when they have a nanny, then I would recommend you guys should pause and have a rethink before giving birth to another baby. May the baby's soul RIP. |
TheKongoEmpire:You might consider ignoring responses which does not help what you are looking for. Having read your requirements and needs, I would strongly advise you visit Abuja. You can easily blend into the Nigerian lifestyle faster starting from Abuja when compared to Lagos. Even Nigerians are told to shine their eyes when visiting Lagos the first time let alone foreigners. And the good thing is, you can easily visit Lagos from Abuja at cost less than $100 anytime you wish. A budget of $4000 can give you a decent accommodation in a place you can be sure of 20 hours of power in Abuja City. Abuja is the capital of Nigeria and has good planning and setting compared to Lagos. One thing that stands out from the comments above is the fact you need to be very careful. Immediately you step into Nigeria, create an account with a bank, do not move around with cash. This is the reason I strongly recommend you start from Abuja. At least you will have a fairer experience of Nigeria than you would with Lagos. Remember, $20k is like about N7m. Wishing you the best in Nigeria. I want to end this by telling you to be careful and very careful. |
spill:Good morning sir. First, I linked my payoneer account to my Fiverr account. So I first tranfer fund from Fiverr to Payoneer. Also, I opened a Dorm account, and linked to my payoneer account and requested that my withdrawal limit be reduced to $50. So from Payoneer, I will transfer the fund to my Dorm account. If you have fund in your dorm, I can buy @ good rate. lol. |
adetoroamos: You are funny bro. Did the senator got reelected again? If he did, then they is still hope. |
lefulefu:@Choppable Bros, drink before you chop
|
Zhirinovsky:Someone complained of same to me on Whatsapp. What's happening to First Bank ATM. Why not use trusted exchangers or create a dorm account. I created a dorm account and it's been better. |
