Physics will empower you to think logically and analytical. You can use physics laws everywhere.

oil and gas isn't competitive, it's just for the few connected ones. Whether you studied zoology or botany.

Whichever one you go for, try to empower yourself. While I was an undergraduate, I always learn new things outside my course of study every semester. I pay to learn them. Very necessary

There is geophysics under physics while there is geophysics in geology.

Depending on what you want. If you desire to study geophysics, please do it under geology department as it will give you more practical base on the subject.


Then for physics, it's a serious issue as it has many areas where you can major.
It all a matter of choice. Both of them is good, you only need to know the difference and what you want.

If you are interested in research, go for physics. If you want to contribute or be at the forefront of discoveries, impacting lifes and changing the society, then go for physics.


But if you are interested in Niger delta oil, you might ask those doing petroleum engineering how far and take the geophysics

Of course, it's going to affect you. Take for instance, if you as a newbie have completed 10 orders and eligible for level one, then you won't climb up the ladder.

So you should strive to maintain the criteria.

My account of early 2016 got banned in October. Since then, I just forget fiverr.

The competition will increase as people who got demoted will strive to make it to the top.

No one knows the arrangement as from January 15th, but one thing is sure, those who scaled through the judgement will have so many orders coming their way.

Secondly, If all your analytics bars are all greens, I would suggest you avoid new orders till after evaluation. So many sellers will be demoted and ranked lower. Some gigs will disappear from fiverr search results. Those that passed the evaluation will have more orders.

Another thing that most sellers fail to do which is very necessary at this point in time is evaluating buyers.

Whenever I receive new message from a buyer, I first conduct a due diligence study and one area of interest is buyers country.

Any buyer from Pakistan and India is a turn off. I will reject such offers by telling the client not to place an order as I am not able to do his project. This is very necessary.

People having Indian and Pakistan buyers always complain of negative ratings and cancellation. Avoid them now.

One artificial way of passing this evaluation is Nigerian sellers buying of reviews.

In using this method, you must transact carefully.

Another way of improving your analytics is to extend your delivery time to exceed 15th January. From 10th, let your order delivery date exceed 15th January that's if your analytics bars are all greens

The truth is, most sellers are not aware of January 15th evaluation. It's going to be a judgement day for most sellers. So many sellers are going to fiverr hell, I pray I am not one of them.

Sellers that successfully scale through this rating will have more others than they ask for. Reasons being that, most sellers are not aware that these factors are necessary.

Someone told me that her rating is currently 84% while another guy suffered two 2 star review.


Check your analytics now and know your fate.

Let me start with mine.

1. Of recent, I have cancelled 4 others, giving me an order completion rate of 91%. Even when I have cancelled no new orders, the completion rate is on a downward motion. I fear that it might go below 90% God forbid though. I recently submitted two orders, hoping it will get it up.


2. My response rate is also going down. Travelling for Christmas made my response rate low due to bad network in the village. Lol. Currently, my response rate is 91%. My phone is always with me, I respond to New messages within seconds. Lol

The month of December was a another great month on fiverr. Made 327k slightly lower than November earning with 100k+

I am always active on fiverr forum and most sellers have expressed their fears regarding the most expected January 15th evaluation.

I am very active on fiverr forums and today I see so many TRS crying over demotion to Level 2. This implies that their earning will have to clear for 14 days against the 7 days clearance period which they have enjoyed.

So many level 2 sellers were also demoted.

Is this really a problem? To this my response is No. If your gig is on front page and you get demoted from Level 2 to level 1 and yet your gig is on search front page as usual, then there is no problem.

To me, the only people affected by this is just the TRS. In as much as your gig impression is increasing and your ranking is on front page, then you have lost nothing.

Don't let it bother you. Seek for ways to increase your rating ahead of next review date February 15th.
