Onojasteve:That means she have been dating the guy that got her engaged along with you? |
You must understand that life isn't a bed of roses. It's a war that only the weak give up. Don't give up in life, let life give up in you bro. It's too late to fail, stand up and love yourself for the little you have achieved. Everyday, people die in accident, don't you read it on nairaland, yet God kept you alive. There is a reason for it, its for you to excel and you will. Things might look hard, scattered, and stupid, trust me, it's the way of life. With time, it will get organized and you will smile. Take solace from the fact that there is a day you will smile, keep that day in view and let the home of it sustain you. |
Well OP, this is not easy as some people are shouting and recommending on this post. Don't single yourself out as the bad egg. You must protect yourself first and let the blame be on your husband. First, you must understand that it is hard for the male child to overlook their suffering brothers. From the look of things, everything is still scattered and haven't had any shape. Don't give an outburst, don't physically confront anyone. Whatever you are doing, apply wisdom. All these people saying you must stand your ground or he is not packing in, lol, they will only rant on nairaland. This is actually deeper and personal than some people see it, I would advise that you discuss with your husband while he speaks to his brother. If he allows him to pack in, readjust and cover up. Keep watching and do your best. The worst you can do now is to marry your husband and take this decision by confronting them. Since he is married and has a family, he can't possibly come to live with you guys forever. Kindly apply wisdom |
When help goes wrong |
Anyone who can't use his money to help his brothers and family members should examine himself. Charity they say begins at home and no reason can justify such cursed and wicked action. If you are happy, then you should use your income to help people especially your family members. No one needs any advise to do this. Your brother needs help. He might have listened to some strange words from wicked people and decided to trade in that direction or he is cursed. He needs an enemy who will stand infront of him and publicly tell him the truth in its undiluted words. But if you guys reply him in good and loving tones when he makes his usual caring calls to your family members, then you guys should take what you see. When everyone within the family is saying the same thing to him, then he will be freed from the bondage he is into. |
Amya:Your writing style is amazing. |
Nigerian police is the worst when compared to global standard. Even Zimbabwean police show professionalism in their operations compared to Nigerian Police Force |

|
subzero2:I understand. There is a day you will hear the truth. One day someone was telling me certain story, I did my ear as if I was training pig. When she saw her tricks is not changing anything, she opened up and told herself the truth. |
subzero2:Don't mind her, she is just joking. But why did you release inside her? Bros you no try and condom nah N100 which could have saved you the 20k, the stigma, this thread, and the trust. She is pulling your leg |
It looks amazing. Children are adorable |
Last 3 sundays when you were having different rounds, we didn't hear it. It's okay. Well, ladies have a way of trying to tie people down or wanting to know what you will do. She loves you and have taken the money for contraceptive. Since she used it to subscribe for her monthly data plan, your business is to sit down and watch. Were you the one that suggested she buy contraceptive drugs? If no, then relax. Just watch as it unfolds and start gathering money for DNA text before the next 9 months. Give her all the supports she needs, try your best to be a real man. Don't run away from challenges. Your situation will not be like your brothers, just see it that you are the one that had a child out of wedlock. And the child is a blessing and nothing more. Summary is: Watch and support her |
SalamRushdie:Everyday, the Nigerian government pay the GENCOs for the losses made by the DISCOs. We realized for instance that ABUJA Discos do remit 100% of the power given to them but when they saw that they are the only ones doing so, they started given the same excuse other DISCOs give. Enugu DISCOs, Kano DISCOs and other remit little of what they are given. Lagos is trying but they have joined others. The government need to make the distribution section very competitive. We need to join the Market Pool strategy that other world do. This single buyer method is for countries with little population. You need to know what the privatization of the distribution company has done. The Vesting Contract given to this DISCOs will see them being in charge for the next 15 years. |
SalamRushdie:Here in Abuja, there is light almost every time. 23 hours and this is even dry season so you should atleast know that the government is doing everything to make things right. |
Slymonster:You are not in the system. It is true that Abuja have constant power as I experience it everyday but the problem of power is majorly in the distribution side which has been privatized by the last administration. The procurement of Transformer are the responsibilities of the distribution company who owns the distribution networks and takes the money and not the government. |
SalamRushdie:Do you mean the policies that saw the government sell the distribution company to private individuals who are members of the government? You really need to think through what you are saying. I was part of the consulting team for NBET and I realized the problem of power in Nigeria is DISCOS just like you have said. I saw that government pay the GENCOs from the money DISCOS remit. DISCOs who sell darkness just like you have pointed out and collect the money from the people and return back complaining that people are not paying. All DISCOs remit only 30% of the power supplied to them. And government have to pay the GENCOs. Remember that the World Bank $600m is yet to be released to the Nigerian government hence they are constrained to pay the GENCOs from the money received by the DISCOs. Until the government take back the DISCOs or monitor it extensively or perhaps (according to what we recommended) make the Distribution side competitive, then Nigerians will be held to ransom by some powerful men within the system |
If you are absolutely sure you will make the GP of 5.0 which is the requirement for Med/Sug then proceed with your current programme. But if your GP is currently below the 5.0 (Meaning you are hoping to get it to 5.0) kindly proceed with Pharmacy. From the second sentence above and from your "what If analogy", I am suggesting you go for the Pharmacy Option. Finally, you want to pursue Pharmacy and Medicine same time? Must you study the two? Do you want to be a Pharmaceutical doctor? ![]() Abeg, specialize in one and master it. Be the best in one and rest will be a story. |
demefa:Ayam not understanding. Bros try to forgive please |
arewaboy01:Bros, what is your problem. No carry your problem enter nairaland |
Nwaoma198:Do you mean 38 Dicks or what? Ayam not understanding? ![]() I only know of 32 A/B, 34 A/B, or 36 A/B so dafuq is 38D only |
biacan:Nah the bold sentence dey make guys like Airforce1 show off. As for me, make I come dey go, I never even see money for tire nah to come buy car. |
Girlfriend/Boyfriend swap should be implemented ASAP. |
olyrayy:Hi, can you clear your browser cache or cookies and try again. It will work when you do this. Secondly, use a normal browser so you can receive the verification code in your Nigeria phone network |
mekusboy4all:The implication is that even if you complete the requirement to become a level one (I.e a completion of 10 orders and a rating of 4.8 and above), with the current rating system and the January evaluation, you will remain a new seller. So try as much as you can to avoid order cancellation |
mekusboy4all:Every seller experience such but it's not an excuse. This is a professional service and Fiverr expects you to deliver on them even when they are mistakes. As sad as it may sound, its going to affect all of us next year. So yo had better check your analytics and see what your order completion rate is. |
mekusboy4all:You are doing well but please remember that there is January 15th evaluation which will affect you. Try to reduce your cancellation rate. Try as much as possible to reduce your cancellation rate as it affects your gig and will affect your next evaluation come January 15th. A cancellation of 4 orders is not healthy for your gig. |
favourbaby:Hi, most buyers seek the service of US sellers hence the use of US location by most sellers including Nigerian sellers too. When you use a Nigerian account to buy reviews, it will look like a planned (As it is) review, simply call it a fake review. Imagine having your reviews all coming from Nigeria or African countries, it doesn't make sense. Most US buyers will trust your service if other US buyers find you trustworthy. Secondly is the use of English. It is expected that communication with US sellers or other services such as writing services from a US citizen will be smooth. If you have read what Pakistan or most Indians write on fiverr, you won't want to contact the seller. When using a US account or Nigerian account, try to get reviews from US buyers. |
