Hello boss, this thread is almost a year old. Now, I have advanced a little from writing for someone to having four people writing for me.

What really got me into writing is money. I needed to make money on my own.

Reading a lot of materials will help you improve your writing skills. When you also write regularly, your writing skills will also improve.

I have very disturbing thoughts that cause me so much anxiety and fear. I've been suffering for about two months now and I have not really talked to anyone about it because I don't really feel comfortable talking about it yet. I know I should undergo therapy but as it is now, I don't have the means so I'm trying on my own. This is terrible. I've been depressed and suicidal.

I read something on OCD(Obsessive Compulsive Disorder) and I could relate with most of the symptoms. Here's a scenario of my experience.

Ada has thoughts which say that she made a vow to God, a spirit or a deity to stop watching TV else her husband will die. (When she gets married). Ada knows fully well that she'll continue watching TV. She won't stop. She doesn't want to be under any vow. Remember, those thoughts are just in her head but they cause her so much anxiety and fear and depression and sometimes guilt. She tries to fight those thoughts but if you've had this experience, you'll know fighting these thoughts is just so difficult. These thoughts keep coming and try to control her.

Ada tells herself, these thoughts have no effect on real life events but her mind sometimes makes her think those thoughts have effects on real life events (which is not true). Ada is afraid of her own thoughts. Sometimes she thinks them intentionally. Other times, she tries to fight them.

Although I didn't go into full details and I altered some of the information, the above scenario pretty much explains my predicament.

This is very simple.
1. Avoid staying alone. If you always have quiet time, do avoid them until you've overcome this thoughts.

2. I wouldn't know the church you attend currently, why not consider changing it to a church that does not believe in those dreams and negative thoughts.

3. Always engage in regular exercise with people. Think about this, those thoughts that cause you fear are things people do and are happy. So why should yours be the opposite? You don't deserve that, you need to be happy and fulfilled.

4. Go against your beliefs. Trust me, they was a time I believed all those things and they were working for me. Sleeping at night was hell. I read Psalms regularly and sang hyms and nothing changed until I saw I was just killing myself silently while the rest of the world is just happy and living a normal life.

5. In your spare time, listen to jokes and funny conversations.

I trust that with the above, you will be fine

Every day, lots of information is shared on that forum and it's all there on fiverr. I shared actionable tips on getting order in Buyers request page.

True I notice the destructive critising mentality here.

I simply ignore them. I have a mind of my own. They can criticize from now till tomorrow, I don't care. It doesn't get to me.. I may be angry but afterwards I ignore and follow my mind.. Am that stubborn. Cause I know what's right and wrong and what's applicable and what's not.

It depends on the industry you want to start with and the role. Is it audit, general accountant, cost accountant, financial controller, account payable, account receivables, etc. These roles will shape the salary scale.

But if you are young, you can try the big 4, you won't regret it later on. I think the big 4s pay over 100k for ACAs.

Any other company should be able to pay over 100k as well except you don't have any experience.

Even without experience, big companies starting salary should be over 100k anything less, then such company is not big except if the workforce is big and the turnover is low.

I don't really think the chattered has anything to do with your starting salary. It should have effect after probation period.

What you wrote here is true. Very true and there is no doubt about it especially the first paragraph.

Truth is, it might not be because OPs husband do now love her. Some men see their wife as their own, they expect her to understand the way they do and leave their life. The husband may not even be taking care of himself and spent most time helping others who are far from him and his wife.

I really do not know what else to say. Nairaland this days is filled with guys and ladies who just want to blame their opposite sex. You are complaining of Uniuyo? Unical is worse off...they keep savoring in past glorious and are oblivious of how they have been left behind. Interestingly, they will be claiming "we deliver quality not quantity" forgetting in the process that everything in life is tied to time.
The sad part is that their contemporaries(especially most Fed universities in the North), have continued to churn out graduates at the PG level without unnecessary delay. The resultant effect is that, those who run their PG programs up North and finish on record time will most definitely be ahead of those who opted to do their PG program in the south.
Why and how they tenaciously hold unto this "Lord Luggard's way" of running PG program still baffles me.
