so because she is 27,she should open her legs for a man who clearly want nothing but sex? Dumb African!
Don't mind him. Everything revolves around sex to him and this is because of the way the society have changed

Please be mindful of this doctors oo. They are just there because ladies feel they have money or they will never be out of job. And the abroad guy will just marry you and keep you here. Don't be pressured into any relationship because you are 27. It's obvious you are forcing yourself into a relationship.

Take your time, its never late let alone too late.

He's doing that already nah. undecided

Isn't that the issue with the OP,? Why else will someone that calls himself a man be so stingy to his girl?

Stingy men is a huge turn off for me. I won't even be loving someone that is aka gum. Where will the love come from nah? undecided

If a man cannot take care of my needs then he cannot be my man, simple. I hope to teach my daughters that too in the near future. cool
I completely agree with you. And I encourage you to teach your daughters same in the future. Teach them to love a man that will take their responsibility off their parents. Teach her that for her to love or grant sex to any man, she should first tell him to sign a responsibility form. I strongly recommend that you teach her that money = love = sex. Let her know that the moment a boyfriend stops taking her responsibility, then she should quit the relationship and move to the next man in queue.

On a more serious note, teach them that they should not date a guy that is not working and that he should devote 8% of his salary or earning to her, for only then will they know that they have a responsible boyfriend.

If a man cannot take care of your needs ? hahahaha where are your parents for crying out load ?
I just read your comments bro and you are making a logical argument. Everything you said is true.

I realized that most ladies call a guy that spend on them Maga just like you or someone rightly pointed out. When you take up her responsibility, she will bring her families responsibility and even that of her relations. I once had an experience like that. A lady visited me and was staying for a week. During the third day, she told me that there is this her cousin who needs money so her project in school and that she is financially down. According to her, the cousin needs 20k, that I should help out. I was shocked, I paid for her transport and even when she came she fell sick which I had to take up the expenses all alone. Each time we go out, she wants to eat everything she see on our way, yet, she is bringing her cousin's problem. Immediately she said it, I just did my ear as if I train pigs.

When ladies call guys that refuse to spend unnecessarily broke, stingy, and insecure, I just can't help but laugh. The truth which is being taught in any financial training is that, you are not financially sensible if ladies don't tell you that you are stingy. If ladies keep praising you for spending everything you have, then you are financially wayward.

If you are going out for a business transaction, or perhaps you got a new job or started a new business, your sister or mother will always tell you to avoid women.

You don't call me insecure or stingy when you don't know the plan I have for myself. So many things bro.

I just want to tell you that you are speaking our mind. Don't mind the attack from them

it pays to be objective, you could have asked my how o ne can make money in Libya and who are teh ones making money
Lol, are we here for lectures. We all know what life is in Libya. How many of Nigerians have the opportunity of living well in Libya. I know that Libyan currency is very close to the dollar, hence the rush.

The guy that buys caterpillar and ship it from US realized that those he left here in Nigeria are heating it better than him and he started making plans to come back. Home is home bro.

Give me the flight money to US and I will double it in Nigerian within a month. People are making it here and we must encourage our youths to start small.

Leave the guy.

What costs $5 in US will cost less than $1 in Nigeria. Things are quite cheaper over here yet he thinks its hell. When they go there and earn everything, yet people who are here are competing quite better than majority of them.

You can make money in Libya amidst fears and high probability of dying. Does it worth it?

At the end, the most important thing is peace of mind and fulfillment. Even till tomorrow, people will keep chasing money, yet, happiness rate keeps decreasing.

If your comments seeks to make people leave Nigeria, so be it, kindly make sure you help about 10 Nigerians leave Nigeria every year. If you are just commenting and doing nothing, then you are achieving nothing.

Nigerians are too big and not until you understand that we can not all leave here, you keep arguing. If you make heaven and earth and you are happy, thats the best. If I make peanut and satisfied, then that's the best. If we all leave, who will welcome you home?

That guy is funny, deff one that lives with thier parents,if a man earns N100k in Nigeria per month then he is in poverty accoding to inflation index of Nigeria, some pot of soup cost up to N15k and will last three days if yu got a wife and two kids, N15k x4 is N60k, so u gt N40k left, transport school fess and other foods and house rent means you are out of pocket, unless you reduce your stabdard of living to the point that the poverty is easily seen!
Stop deceiving yourself. I earn more than 300k in a month and its not a bad start. If you want a country where you can get it once, then I am not interested in it

Lol, that's the point bro. Its above 100k and it changes nothing but trust me, I earn more than 200k every month from fiverr. I strongly believe that with 9 million, he will do well if managed well because I have seen business of 2.5m move to 7m within a year.

But if you want him to be earning 10m every month, then he should start doing yahoo. You should hear him, he worked for 2 years and his saving is 9m aside from the work he did while studying.

There are business that are lower than that and live a happy and fulfilled life. The op is looking at settling down but guess worth, you have through your words made him change his mind and its even good bro.

We go port soonest. No mind all these people wey dey blow grammar say make we stay naija. Most people on this thread have stayed in naija all their life and seen that there is no future here. We are ready to go abroad and work hard inspite of the racism. At least we know we would live a more dignified life than the one we live here. What some the posters like pidgin2, Mrphysics and redgold are saying is that all of us are jobless and lazy in Nigeria which is largely baseless. They are obviously privileged people who have found where to suck in Nigeria. For the rest of us, the world is waiting for us to explore and prosper. Goodluck with Tinubu, Saraki and the Buharis of this world. Lets see if they would allow you enjoy your Nigeria. Even the smallest thing in the west: power, Nigeria cant generate 5,000 MW and some nitwits want us to continue trusting criminals whose children are in this same abroad they are castigating. Thank you very much but No thanks! We aint trusting in this sh!thole country no more!
You are making mistake bro. I hardly tell people that I work because I believe in the street and I have been a street hustler. I am working and my salary is good. Lol, atleast above 100k. But the point is, I am a freelancer and I have always been. I stopped blaming the government when I read on fiverr forum how the problem of the world seems to be the same and only the lazy ones keep blaming and depending on the government.

We sell caterpillar parts and we have the ones we hire for road construction, so I have been dirty monitoring projects etc and I can tell you that I have joined in making transactions outside Nigeria. Most of the caterpillar parts we sell are imported and I know what it means to trade in dollar and that of Naira.

On fiverr, people hardly sell as a Nigerian but I do and I make sales more than most Nigerian-US sellers. The other day in fiverr forum, someone came claiming that Nigerians are scammers, I spoke up and the thread was deleted.

Everyday, US citizens seek for a way to earn money on Amazon, only few Nigerians do that. The business section is one of the sections of nairaland with less visitors, you see most of them in politics and romance section.

Bro, if you believe Nigeria is a hard place, it will be for you and if you are waiting for 2019, then you will be heart broken

The reason why Nigeria is a failed state is right here on this thread, it's "THE PEOPLE " . We blame the government often, but the people are the government. I shake my head for the next nigerian generation, most Nigerians need major re-orientation. For some odd reason Nigerians think it's easy overseas, I shake my head. Let me tell you a fact, if you can't make anything out of yourself in Nigeria, you will NEVER do better abroad either. Until you've worked and struggled abroad with no moral support and you suffer from bouts of depression, you will NEVER understand. Your average American believes in their country and most have stayed to make it what it is. If they bailed at any sign of challenges, you will not be dying to cross over.
How i wish the American government can just grant the wishes of some of you so you can go and experience life or If there wasn't any option to relocate maybe you all would make something of yourselves.
OP, in life strive to find yourself wherever you are, by all means do not be an illegal alien in any country, it never really ends well. It's either you find a way to legalize or start mapping out your plan to come to Nigeria. 30k is about 10mill , you can buy treasury bills. Take the almost 2mill upfront, find someone to room with on the island, pay a years rent with half. And start exploring opportunities. It's not a must you should wear suit and tie and scavenge the whole city for employment. Try looking for areas of improvement where you can provide service. Even in today's America, if you want to make it big you have to think of ingenious ideas and areas that haven't been tapped into. Same applies anywhere in the world if you don't want to remain complacent with mediocrity.
Re-orientate yourself from all these kiddos and oldies that aspire to the champagne lifestyle, you can survive on what you have till something works out. Ignore all these ones whose role models are politicians, scammers and what not, do not despise the power of good old hard work and dedication, it still goes a long way. Problem with Nigerians is everyone wants to arrive quickly, someone without employment for 10yrs wants to be a boss in 1 month, that's why most of them are mostly unemployable. Always envious of the person with a car/ better life when they don't know their story or how much they worked to get it. Your average American starts working at McDonald's or the mall.at age 16 to grasp the concept of earning a living, life just doesn't happen, you work you way through it.

My point? it all boils down to you, stay illegally in the US and God help you Trump and his people come after you, you will find yourself at the back of MMA with only a knapsack to your name. Be wise.
Just the truth bro. Nigerians are the problem of Nigeria.

Most Nigerians are pessimistic, I totally agree. The mindset of people like Alchatruz005 is weird. First off, they don't understand that some people are comfortable here, secondly he seems to think the OP's circumstance is similar to his, thirdly, he has no marketable skill, fourthly, even as he lacks experience he thinks he should advice others, he thinks going abroad is the key to unlock wealth and he doesn't seem to understand that planning and preparation brings success anywhere, he also has the familiar "get rich quick mentality"

His kind are many and they won't have the patience for legit freelance work or any work at all. The guy is just a clown. Good luck to him regardless
It's quite a pity. Everyday, I help people start life on fiverr because I want them to see how life outside Nigeria is. My buyers tell me that life is not easy in US, hence the reason they look for extra source of income.

The OP should say his salary for the two years he worked in US. If he does that, you will realized that if someone earns such in Nigeria, then 9m is a. little savings.

Don't mind Nigerians, that's why majority of them even fail in freelancing because they can't compete with professionals outside Nigeria.

I stay in Abuja and I can tell you that life isn't as costly as people are made to believe. If OP likes, he should stay they, it's his life. People are making it here daily

Op listen to this guy here!
Your decision to come back to Nigeria should be yours and yours alone.

Yes, Nigeria is not as she should be, she is not as bad as a whole lot of persons paint her.
If you eventually decide to leave, you'll need to plan, to really plan. And you should make a conscious decision to guard yourself from people with grim pictures... negative people...

Meanwhile, don't you have any trusted person back home who will help pave at least a landing path for you and a short term arrangement pending when you get settled?

If you want a paid job, you could start your searches there.. Or if you want to be on your own, make adequate researches on what you want to do...

There should be a bigger picture than just starting off one or two provision stores.. Do you really know the value of Naija money?

Please if you don't have well laid plans and backup plans, save yourself regrets and stay back there!
Statistics revealed that most people on nairaland are IPOB and they will always be quick to pain Nigeria bad. I earn in dollars and in Naira too and I can tell you that with 9 million, OP can settle in Abuja and leave comfortably while pursuing business.

Most of these comments here come from unemployed people, those who don't know their right from their left.

There are several things he can do with the money and he will leave below average. How many Nigerian have 9 million? 99% of corpers have less than 2m. So what stops OP from excelling.

How much does Tony Elumelu give in its youth empowerment yet people double it in a year.

Lol you will likely end up as a slave in Libya with the way you are going. The funniest thing is that you, who doesn't know anything think that you are in a good position to advice others grin
I just realized Nigerians are pessimists. I met someone who is an active member of nairaland, he didn't go to the University rather learned trade and was settled with less than 2 million.

With good management skills, he is now a multi millionaire in less than a year and he even lives in Area 2 in Abuja.

Today, a post of someone who stays in Besiktas made front page and people were struggling to go there. The guy revealed that the pay was $70 a week which is $280 in a month. This is what freelancers make on 2 weeks while working in Nigeria. I earn more than that on fiverr within two weeks yet, people were criticizing Nigeria even when my salary aside is more than $400.

With that kind of money, the OP can be anything he wants in Nigeria, all he needs is a good management system. In a year, he can double it...

Everyone wants to leave Nigeria without knowing that it's not easy over there

Accounts are being constantly deported to Nigeria. Imagine the effect it will have on your buyers who first thought you are from America or whatsover. I actually use a Nigerian account and I sell very well having up to 7 orders in queue. For those who use US account, kindly follow this step to avoid a possible deportation.

1. Never send email or discuss with Customer Support via a phone: Customer Support messages are all done through email conversation. Now, it is very easy to know where you are sending email from. To avoid it, anytime you want to contact customer support or to reply to their email, do not rush it by replying through a phone. Kindly login your email via epic browser. Epic will keep your IP address in US. This has proven to be 100%.

2. Avoid using British words: One of the persons I helped get started on fiverr made the mistake of using British words even when his account is a US account. And he got the message below. Always tweet your words and don't talk much

Your story sounds so much like mine, just that I'm a little older. I refused to be disheartened, even as I be man so. I make conscious efforts to keep from brooding. For instance, I go on a stroll or to a public place to distract myself from depressing thoughts. I'm almost always doing something partly for this reason.
