dikadubai: Yes you can apply for pgc/Pgd with an ND result but you need to also have some years of job experience in that program and lastly you need to contact the school first to get assurance before applying.most school require that you have a first degree or a 2year or 3year diploma. Some state categorically that the 2 years diploma must be from a canadian school |

Magma012:. Here is the link to a document containing an agreement between the USA, UK and Ireland on the sharing of information when it comes to visa applications. https://www.gov.uk/government/uploads/system/uploads/attachment_data/file/282580/8790.pdf So after reading this and you choose to lie in your US visa application, it would be interpreted as fraud and misrepresentation and you risk a lifetime ban from the US. So the choice is all yours. 2 Likes |

Amule5000us: B1/B2 visa is not meant to be used for employment purpose. If your main reason for travelling to the USA is to seek employment as an instrumentalist in Church then you would be needing a visa that falls under the artist or entertainer class and that Visa is a P visa. To get a P visa your employer first needs to file a petition with USCIS for a temporary foreign worker and pay all the necessary fees over there in the U.S . If the petition is approved then you can apply for a P Visa . n.b. you can't apply for a P visa without first submitting a petition and getting an approval from USCIS. So if your visa appointment with the embassy is in March and you applied for B1/B2 already, telling a visa officer that your reason for travelling to the USA is to seek employment as an instrumentalist in church won't be approved. You stand a better chance if your plan is to attend a church program as a visitor. 3 Likes |

desi10mi: You can apply but you stand a better chance if you are a permanent resident of the UK. It is difficult to demonstrate to the visa officer of having strong ties to the UK if you are a temporary resident. 1 Like |

Amule5000us:. If you will be paid then b1/b2 is not the right visa for you . You will need a visa that falls under performance artist and that's P Visa. To get this visa your employer needs to file a petition for you over there in the USA and when the petition is approved by USCIS you can then apply for a visa at the American embassy or consulate. |

Anon123: You can find the answer to your question by clicking on the link below. Post graduate work permit can only be extended only if at the time of getting your PGWP your passport had some few months left to expire and since you can't be issued a pgwp longer than your passport expiry date , in such a case either you would be told by IRCC to submit a new passport to get your full lenght pgwp or you would be given a pgwp to last you till your passport expires . Then after bringing a new passport your PGWP would be extended to cover the remaining months or years left for your full PGWP. https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/corporate/publications-manuals/operational-bulletins-manuals/temporary-residents/study-permits/post-graduation-work-permit-program/permit.html 4 Likes 1 Share |

DemmyDD: I have gone through their refund policy and didn't find any write up about a no-refund policy if an applicant is denied a study permit due to misrepresentation or fraud. One thing I could come up with is that the school doesn't seem to be a good University. Though it is a designated learning institution but not all programs in the university qualifies you for a post study work permit after graduating. The list of program that gets you qualified for PGWP can be seen by clicking on the link below. Lastly check for reviews about the school online and you will find a lot of negative reviews. I wish you good luck and I hope you are able to get your refund at the end. https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/study-canada/study-permit/prepare/designated-learning-institutions-list/university-canada-west.html 3 Likes |

prospectiveapp: Tuition for 2 years would be $30,000cad . Then feeding and accommodation would be $20,000 for two years. But if your school is in Quebec province your feeding and accommodation would be $22,000cad for 2 years. So adding tuition and feeding you would need to show at least $50,000 for a 2year program if your school is outside Quebec and $52,000 if your school is in the the Quebec province. I made the calculation based on $15000 tuition. I hope that helps. |

emmalextemtop: You wont be needing a new visa since you won't be travelling out of canada . Usually after your program you can stay in canada up till 90days ( if you dont plan to apply for a pgwp) or the expiry date on your study permit whichever comes first . But in your case since you intend to start a new program and it takes about 4months before the new program starts I would advice you stay for the 90day but before the 90days expires you apply for your study permit extension. Which usually takes a about 58days to process then as soon as it is ready you can start your new program. When applying for study permit extension in Canada you are usually not required by IRCC to show proof of funds. But just make sure you pay your school fees. And another advice to you is that you try to apply for your second program on time even before you finish the first semester of your first program. N:B immediately after you finish your first program you need to stop working if you are doing any part time job. Only start working again when you get your new study permit 7 Likes 1 Share |
