Urgent
Please who has travelled to Canada recently on a visitor visa, is it compulsory to book a return ticket? were you required to show your ticket before allowed entry at point of entry?

I would assume you come from a country that requires a visa to visit Canada. If this is the case then it is very risky to fly to Canada as a visitor on a one way ticket , because if the immigration at the airport ask you questions about why you are visiting Canada and how long you will be staying ? How do you hope to answer that question and prove it. Secondly some airlines won't even allow you to board their plane to Canada with a one way ticket as a visitor if you come from a country that needs a Visa to visit Canada. Lastly my advice to you is that it is better you buy a return ticket that is fully refundable incase you change your mind about travelling , so that when you get to Canada and decide to change your return date or stay put for reasons best known to you . You can request for a refund of the payment of your return ticket.

Hello gurus in house, please help me, I need your advice, my friend 39years was admitted in a college Canada for undergraduate certificate program in education assistance, already paid tuition deposit, is presently working as a college lecturer as first degree holder, please how can my friend convince a VO in his SOP since this certificate program lower to is education background and the graduate of Education assistance certificate can only work with children, kindergarten level, how can I relate this to college lecturer.

It would have been much easier if the program of study would lead to an academic progression or career development or advancement. If he can answer this , then he can try to explain this in his SOP or contact a professional SOP writer who can help him link all his ideas together.

Good evening house. Please, for a 1 year program running from Jan to Aug (8 months), when applying for the second program, the starting month should be September or January the next year?

You might want to check the link below.
https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/study-canada/extend-study-permit.html
I also know of the 150 days rule. If the date your next program will start isn't more than 150days ,then you are good . But if it is more than 150days from the day you finished your first program then you may need to apply from outside Canada.

Hello good evening guys. Please I need your counsel on the issue below.
My friend had PhD admission at University of Alberta. He used the services of an agent for the TRV application. Initially, all seemed to be going well because he had medical request and subsequent PPR.
He was looking forward to get his passport when shoot he got a refusal letter from IRCC stating that the bank statement of his sponsor submitted as part of his application was fraudulent. Hence, he has been banned for 5 years. As we speak now, the passport is still with IRCC.
Please what is the best way to address this issue?
And how can this ban be lifted from his application?

If the agent submitted a fraudulent bank statement, then I am sorry there is nothing your friend can do. Secondly I hope and pray the Nigeria police doesn't come for him.
Below is a link to the government of Canada website that talks more on this issue.

Good morning everyone! Please I have a question!
Does one need a sponsor to apply for Canada study permit, even when you have the said amount in your bank statement?

I want to apply so I want to if having a sponsor is paramount. Please! I will really appreciate your response

You can be self sponsored. But you need to be able to show to IRCC how you came about the money in your account and prove it with documents.

Happy sunday guys. Please I seriously need your help. I produce way too much urine, especially at night. I practically wake up every 30 minutes to use the restroom. It's too much.

The worst part is that I'm merely EIGHTEEN!!! Please how do I curb this anomaly guys? I dread to think what would happen if i enter UNI and live in the hostel with my fellow guys. They might tag me a criminal, or worse, I might be attacked by one during one of my endless trips to the bathroom.

You guys should help me abeg.

It might be NOCTURIA.
Nocturia is a condition in which you wake up during the night because you have to urinate. Causes can include high fluid intake, sleep disorders and bladder obstruction. Treatment of nocturia includes certain activities, such as restricting fluids and medications that reduce symptoms of overactive bladder.

Please I need help
I want to change my course in Conestoga but I’ve already paid tuition deposit for the previous course I accepted
Will the money go to the new course if I change it and how can I change it
.
You will have to log into Conestoga college student portal with your username and password to decline any offer already accepted. Yes if you decide to switch program , any deposit made will be automatically transferred to the new program as long as you decline the first offer before the deadline set aside for it.
Lastly for you to accept another offer into a new program you will have to decline the first offer.

Regarding the option coop

Mandatory and Optional Co-op Programs
Cooperative Education is an important component in many programs in a College. The coop experience provides students with the opportunity to learn through a paid work experience and acquire additional knowledge and skills related to your career goals and objectives. There are a variety programs that have an optional or mandatory co-op component.

An “optional” co-op program provides students with the choice to complete co-op as they earn their credential. When a student elects to join the co-op program, all work terms within that program are mandatory to progress to any additional co-op work terms, and graduate with a co-op designation.

A “mandatory” co-op program means the students need to complete all co-op work terms in their program to earn a credential and graduate.

So in your own case since your choice of program has optional co-op , it is left to you to decide if you want to study that program with co-op option or not.

I appreciate your time. I have gone through it,it is obvious that you must get a job offer or have a relative in the province before you can apply to them .
Since you are really interested in moving to new Brunswick , you can submit your profile to the government of New Brunswick via their website because they are currently accepting the submission of profile from interested people willing to move to their province .
If you have done your ECA, english test , have an Express entry profile and have a C.V. you can check the site out and submit a profile. When filling the form you will need to remember your noc code incase yours isn't listed in the drop down menu. Lastly at the end you would be doing a virtual interview so make sure you have a strong internet connection when filling the form.
I wish you good luck. Below is a link to submit your profile. And the good news is that you dont need to have a job offer or relation in Canada to submit a profile .

If you need information regarding your application , then you need to log into your IRCC account using your gckey and ask your question via webform. In that case they would be able to confirm that it is you and reply to your questions accordingly.

No problem . Since you now operate your own business just make sure you are able to also provide records of your tax.

I have been doing that
Scrolling through 500 pages isn't exactly easy

Why didn't the author close this thread and start another and link old threads.

Aside that..
I have not seen a post similar to mine all I see is visitor visa to join family members.

I stated earlier that I don't have any family member in Canada. I am not married n no kids.
I am simply applying to visit for 10 days as a tourist.
I said I have travel experiences
Europe, Africa, middleast.
I have a current UK n us visa.

This is my first time applying
A brief explanation of what documents to send as supporting documents will be appreciated.
It's information shared that people learn from

Also I see people talk of including SOP
Do I include a sop for a tourist visa with no family in Canada?

Your case is quite similar to that of a friend who got his Canadian trv approved . He applied to go for an event by adding a copy of the invitation letter. He also has a valid USA b1/b2 visa. The documents he submitted are; bank statement, letter of invitation, hotel reservation, passport page whit his USA visa. He was approved within 2 months.
I think having an American visa is a plus , this is because when filling the trv application online there is a part where you are asked if you have a valid American visa . So I think having a valid American visa will also Improve your chance as long as you didn't overstay in America during your visit.
Lastly SOP is an optional document. You can add it if there are things you would like to explain to the visa officer since you wont be doing a formal interview.

The second link in my write up is meant for foreign students. All you have to do is click on the link and fill in your data .

Thank you for your response.
Does this apply to every school?
You mean if I defer for 150 days after September I'll need to inform ircc?

The law states that if you differ for more than 150days from your intended start date then you must inform IRCC and get a new letter of acceptance.

Lets start from here. ISEE is kind of document issued by INPS ( National Institute for Social Security) in Italy , And a key requirement to do anything with INPS in Italy is to have what we call Codice fiscale ( Fiscal code) it is the Italian version of Social security number. For you to have this number you must be living in Italy. ISEE is a document that shows the economic situation of a person or a nuclear family in Italy . People request for ISEE in Italy when they have some form of economic hardship and need some help from the government to help in offsetting some of their Bill's .
So in Nigeria there might be another name for that but certainly not ISEE and even the page that you attached spoke on that.
below is a link from Polytechnic of Milan that also talks about ISEE for incoming students.
https://www.polimi.it/en/current-students/tuition-fees-scholarships-and-financial-aid/student-contribution/isee-equivalent-economic-situation-indicator/#:~:text=Academic%20Year%202021%2F2022,income%20and%20assets%20in%20Italy.

Your attachment seems to come from the website of University of Bologna. And in that page it says foreign student not living in Italy can seek help in submitting the documents required using the services of ER-GO.
Below is the link to their website.

Good day everyone,

A quick question, If after someone is granted a study permit and he or she defers the admission to the next available term.
Would the deferment cause any problems for such person?

If you defer your admission for more than 150 days you will need a new letter of acceptance from your school and will need to inform IRCC

Pls can someone address this .
It’s pretty urgent.
Abbeeeeeggggggg

You can put your bank statement, tax records, pay slip and every other document that has to do with finance under funds.
Anything that has to do with your identity like your international passport , national id card , drivers license , expired and unexpired visas and also stamps in the pages of your passport should go under Travelling document.
Letter of explanation is an optional document so it should go under optional. I hope this helps.
Lastly you will have to compress the documents because in the new portal you can't upload documents larger than 2mb.
