there are many strong women out there- and when i say strong i dont mean single mothers draggin babies from the tail. I dont see that as strong I see that as a result of poor decision making. - anyways, there are strong women in relationships with succesful careers and families.

If we all strive to be like that rather than chase nuisance men around the world be such a better place!

I always try to look at if from both male and female's perspective but we must always be honest about subjects that need progression or else we would be treading in the same circle without going further as we need to.

Some people are allergic to progression, but we are getting there slowly.

I believe that life in general is UNFAIR to women, but not necessarily hard.  I read the thread and I was expecting those whom are typically honest would be honest, but I didn't see that. 

However, I would say that we live in a double standard world.  Women are expected to be a certain way and think a certain way according to respective societies.  Some countries embrace gender equalities and some countries doesn't. 

A man can sleep with hundreds of woman and get accolades for it, but if a woman sleeps with two or more men she is considered an ashy ho.    The same concept applies with polygamous marriage, women are expected not to have multiple husbands, while husbands can marry multiple wives.  Some people would be quick to interject because the religious book said so.  (That is not good reasons when there are many other books that contradicts each other)  It has nothing to do with "books", it is a choice that individuals make and need to accept accountability for their choices. 

In some countries, women weren't allow to work so it was natural for men to make more money than women. However, in America accordingly to Equal Employment Opportunity Act women and men are to be paid base on their experience, education, and recommendation, not because of their gender or the company will be liable for discrimination.  It is difficult to prove unless parties are willing to disclose their salary stubs. 

In some families, women are forced to get marry and bear children at a certain age and it has much to do with culture/tradition.  In the West society, a woman who chooses to uphold her career over managing a family is considered a lesbian.  It is not by force that a woman must marry and bear children if she chooses not to.  That's the option women in the West primarily have without familial pressure.  Again, it has much to do with culture/tradition. 

Some women are career women and wives, it is not an easy task because women are EXPECTED to stay home and become housewives whereas a man doesn't.  It is frown upon when a man becomes a house husband.  A documentary aired on ABC, concerning the new trend of house husbands and what society thinks of house husbands.  It was not a pleasant film and two men killed themselves after the filming reasons unknown.  Again, it has much to do with culture/tradition. 

I am not sure about the bedroom thing, however women are expected to be sexy and maintain their figure.  I do think that men who ask women to be sexy and maintain their figure need to do the same.  I have seen fat men demanding their women to maintain their figure while they are eating 10 hotdogs and drinking four lagers.     

I do support women and men to exercise and take care of their bodies.  It is not that hard to do if you care about your health and body.  Good hygiene is imperative.   

Someone mentioned that women need to select better men, I agree.  However, men need to select better women and both sexes should know specifically what they want and need before going out hunting.  There is nothing worse than a man or woman in the hunting field scrambling for anything because they are not sure if what they want in their relationship.  The most important thing that both sexes should know is to design your relationship to YOUR SPECIFIC NEEDS AND WANTS.

Do not design your relationship base on what society thinks, your family thinks, and stereotypes.  You will be unhappy and miserable for the REST OF YOUR LIFE.  Do you.   

For example, If you want someone to be submissive and a housewife, then you need to find that person who is submissive and wants to be a housewife.  It will not work if both are unequally yoked in every aspect of relationship or marriage.  (It will reduce heartaches and headaches)   

The world isn't fair to women, however it has came a long way since the stone age!  Praise HIM!
