We are taught that in marking mathematics we don't mark English language but try to mark math notation rather than spelling or sentence structure,
mark notations and operations . mark math as a language not as what was written with a language

She simply said using elimination method.
I blame the teacher for being mechanical and deviating from the textbook she prescribed.
This is the same thing we complain of lecturers in the university you want the student to give you each step of the method you use.

Math teacher should stop being mechanical she said use elimination method. The student used it but she reduce 50% of her mark for the question because she did not eliminate twice.
More than 90% of the test book I have studied in mathematics did exactly like the student did.
Or maybe I am not getting it?
