I'm glad you've learnt your lessons. For the ladies, using these exclamations, even in non formal situations, is not classy at all and can be a big turn off.. Once met a very pretty and brilliant lady and during our conversation, all I could hear from her mouth was "O ya", "ihulanu gi", "o kwala gi" and the popular "otuocha". That conversation was our last.
Come to the S/East and you'll hear well educated and elderly people using these exclamations too. SMH

When I remember the awareness created and the attention/support Nigeria got from the whole world when these girls were allegedly kidnapped, I ask myself, did anyone tell the world that these girls have been rescued? No further genuine comments or news about their whereabouts, no protests, no news on the foreign soldiers that came to rescue them, haven't seen any recent tweets showing support or prayers for their families, the government and everyone else (including the Northern Elders) goes about their normal daily business....The girls have been totally forgotten.

So, in my opinion, there's something Nigerians don't know about this kidnap saga. I don't want to say it's a false alarm, but if you think it is, I might as well believe you.

This is why we can't be taken seriously by the international community.
