Like he said, go and read your books!

Forget relationships and face your studies. I bet you're still in secondary school too, so you still have a long way to go. Focus on your studies first!!
FamilyRe: Share You Bed Wetting Stories As A Kid by Mrval20(m): 7:43am On Sep 27, 2014
dwilliams: I remember mine! And twas one of d most embarrasing moments in my lyf, I stopped bedwetting at a late age, around 14, and I also finished second sch around 15yrs, 2 yrs later I travelled 2 my uni for their post utme, after writing d exams I decided 2 visit my home town since it was not far frm there,I spent 2 days there, on the night that I was 2 leave,I played football and I over fed dat night, I never knew wat came over me, na so I sleep wake up 4 night and saw dat d deed had been done. I was near tears. I waited till morning after everyone in d room had gone outside,I carefully turned d bed upside down, hoping I wwould b long gone before it was noticed, my uncle later came and drove us 2 church since it was a sunday, before I came back I met my cousin cleaning d room and d bed was outside in full public glare, I simply entered arranged my clothes without asking for tfare I left. Years later one of my cousins picked a quarrel wit me, and all she kept on saying was dat d schooo(uni) where I now study is dat"I am feeding my room nates wit my urine. SMH after dat incident I never stepped foot there again.
I can perfectly relate, bro. Most people won't understand but it's one of the most frustrating feelings anyone can ever have. That moment when you just wake up and realise you "did it".

Things I noticed about bed wetting:
1. It's hereditary..
I can't prove it but based on my observations, some families do have at least one or more bedwetters and if the parents would be sincere, they probably had the issue when they were kids.

2. It occurs most frequently during rainy reasons. I don't know why it's so but experience taught me that.

3. If you discuss bedwetting at night, there's a 90% percent chance you'll bedwet that night.

4. Most bedwetters don't drink water at night. However, note that if you had soup (especially okro) or any meal that has lots of vegetable for dinner (and enough of it too), the 'wet experience' will be your portion that night.
I'll dish out more observitions if need be.

I had this issue for a long time that you wouldn't even want to hear when I stopped; I mean I was old enough (post primary school) to sit down each morning after it happens and take record of events that occured the previous night, and that was how I got to figure out the major factors that lead to bedwetting, and the pattern it follows.
My parents and siblings were very supportive and no one outside our nuclear family knew I was bedwetting.

For parents: scolding your kids or letting it all out that they bedwet and letting people (even their immediate sibs) make fun of them or even casually joke about it is very bad. You're simply frying their self esteem in a frying pan. Lol.
Support them and help them figure out what works for them in an attempt to quit bedwetting.

Quite probable.

RomanceRe: So Guys, What Does This Mean? by Mrval20(m): 8:55pm On Sep 26, 2014
This was exactly what happened:
At that birthday party, he liked you from a distance and approached you, you guys talked for some time and during this conversation, you did/said something that turned him off. More like, you weren't exactly what he expected you to be but he still wanted to give it a try even though his "like" level has dropped. Still overwhelmed with the doubt of really being compatible with you, he took your number and probably called/texted you a couple of times (and maybe went out with you), and then you proved him right! You're not "his type".
Because he didn't want to hurt your feelings by totally ignoring you or playing you, he decided to be "just friends" with you.
You have to deal with it, most guys are very sensitive and little things can turn them off big time. Also, that you're not his type doesn't mean he's in any way better than you.
NOTE: With the way you talk about this guy, you really liked him from the onset and guess what? You couldn't hide it the first day he approached you! This is a turn off for some guys, especially the handsome ones (you said he's handsome, right?) because they experience this with ladies everyday. They look for that lady who'd snub them even with their "fineboyism", and that's the lady worth going after.

I'm just trying to put myself in the shoes of the good Muslims out there. Extremists are just trying to make them all look bad.
However, I strongly believe they're in a better position to call these extremists to order or convince potential extremists that the quotations in the Quran are being misunderstood by extremists. The Imams aren't just doing enough to curb this menace at all.

ALL girls want an already made or soon-to-be-made man! And for you guys complaining, you'd do the same if you were in their shoes.
Work hard and become successful/rich first, before you think about girls.

8. My mum taught me not to post letters or send emails and text messages when I'm angry; especially to the person who put me in the state.

Here's what works for me - Playing an action game helps to calm me down when I'm angry. The game characters are the ones that feel the heat. Lol. Just try it.

RomanceRe: Woman Wrappering Vs Being A Gentleman: The Difference by Mrval20(m): 8:48pm On Sep 20, 2014
I think a gentleman is just nice for gentleman's sake, not to get anything in return or to be seen as the nice guy. A gentleman is a real man. For example, a gentleman helps a damsel in distress without asking for her contact details afterwards.
A wrapperholic, on the other hand, just wants to get noticed, he craves the attention of ladies and can go to the extent of betraying a "bro" in order to be seen as a nice guy by ladies.
If you've been following a guy on NL and he always stands up for the ladies and speaks good of them, it's a good thing and he might be a gentleman. However, if you've never ever ever ever read this same guy being blunt to a lady, or sincerly criticising a lady, then he's a suspect.
#myopinionthough.
I wonder why someone would even be a wrapperholic on NL when 50% of the so called female handles here are actually handled by males.

Sitting too close to the television affects your sight!!! I don't need any research to understand this. My three cousins use glasses today because they were brought up sitting so close to the t.v like it's some type of makeup mirror or something.

Nice facts though.
