I agree with you on the structure of the NNPC. It should be rethought to have a clear mandate as a regulator or more. As it is now, it's just a big conduit pipe for corruption..

The president of the United states of America is over 70 and the newly elected prime minister of Malaysia is over 90. Nobody is too old to run. Instead of trying to blackmail Buhari into not running, Fayose and his wailing PDP gang should channel their energy towards throwing up a credible candidate that can defeat PMB. It is just few months to the general election and the opposition PDP cannot boast of a credible candidate. That says a lot about the quality of opposition politicians in Nigeria.



The right to legitimate aspiration is a fundamental right that cannot be denied anybody that is qualified. The younger generation of politicians that want to take over from the old class must be ready to slog it out through the ballot box. The old people will not stop running simply because the youths want power. Macron contested against people who are far older than him and won. He did not blackmail anybody into not running. If Fayose or any younger person thinks they can do better than Buhari, let them come out like Sowore and Fela Durotoye and contest in 2019. Nigerians are reasonable people, they will elect whoever they think is best for the country.

It's a free world but there's no need claiming to be a Christian when you don't want to abide by the tenets of the Christian faith. Saying that a lot of biblical concepts do not reconcile with today's reality and that you have to use interpretations to work out which ones you will deem appropriate is just creating your own fantasy. You don't pick and choose which part of God's word you obey according to your own whims and caprices. No one is forcing you to be a Christian or live by the Bible tenets. But when you chose to be a Christian and abide by the Bible, then you must know that you have to be completely obedient to God's instructions in the Bible. A half obedient Christian is just wasting his or her time. Choose ye this day whom you will serve, you can't serve God and Mammon at the same time!

I read a thread where a guy was complaining about ladies demanding too much from him and I understand his plight and also, I believe he is yet to face reality.

We all have the responsibility to grow and as such we don't just grow physically, we grow mentally, emotionally and spiritually (this applies to religious folks).


If you want a lady as your own, don't just rush to get anyone to satisfy your sexual urge, you have the responsibility of seaching, waiting and checking well before getting a lady that suits your taste and one that won't be a weight to your race in life.
You wouldn't expect apple to grow on a coconut tree just the same way you shouldn't expect maturity and independence from a teenage girl or some typical kind of girls.If what you want doesn't exist in their own world, you have no business with them.

It's high time y'all started to acknowledge that a Man that intends to manifest as a Man has the responsibilty of providing. If you're yet to possess the "Men's quality", kindly wait untill when you'll be, don't complain, focus on what matters, and if you see a lady that believes in your dream and if she's ready to go through the "rough times" with you, nice, but if not, don't complain.
