Hey, Bece. I have been trying to reach you via Nairaland email and the link is acting up. I will like to learn how to bake cake (particularly cupcakes) and sugar craft. Is there a number I can reach you with directly so that we can talk? |
It's always the same story. The same thing happened to me in Abuja, around Ademola Adetokunbo Crescent. You just have to act smart, wait for the car to slow down and jump out when you can. ![]() |
Pay her parents a visit and let them know your intention. Whatever reaction you get from them should lead you to the next step. Don't just go touching and pressing what you have no business with! |

Like you need to buy that form for yourself ! Sheesh, I had a hard time reading your post. |
I do not find the idea appealing. But if a girl or a guy feels it will create some kind of bond, they can go ahead looking alike in their cheap ankara material. I know someone on Facebook who has several pictures of herself and her boyfriend in several look alike attires and this is followed by comments from friends asking why they were not invited for wedding! ![]() |
It is not how long they court, but how well they get to know eachother... and how sincere and mature they are while courting, keeping in mind that the commitments they both vow to take at the end of the day should last a life time. |
Thanks for your contribution. |
It all depends on the kind of in-laws you are dealing with. You may collect that money thinking the guy wants to help out, next thing you know he is telling everyone who care to listen, that he is the reason you are feeding. |
please this is my first time starting a topic. Forgive my typo error ![]() |
Hello I am kind of new here. I registered to become a member of this forum because I believe it is a gathering of present NYSC members and ex-corps members who have a wealth of experience in the fields they are specialized in. However, before I state the purpose of this thread, I would like you to know that the use of the word 'Dummies' is in no way intended to insult anyone, it's just a word that can accurately describe a person who is new to an idea and the experiences that come with this idea I rounded of NYSC in February this year and I was amazed at the number of unemployed youths that appear for interviews. As a solution to this I opted to build up a business plan and find a mentor I can look up to, instead of waiting for a white collar job. I know most would-be entrepreneurs think that getting capital to start a business is a major challenge, but I beg to differ because I know that if you do not have a carefully planned business plan then you are planning to fail if the capital is eventually provided for the startup. I would like this thread to be a topic of interest for would be entrepreneurs and established entrepreneurs amongs us. Please feel free to post your startup experiences, also feel free to drop a word of advice for those looking to start a business or even if you are a resource person with experience in things like this, your contribution will go along way in helping someone. |
