Phoenixback:
I was a PO during the last elections, there is what is called e-collation on the card readers which we did at the RACs after the voting process; the results of the various polling units were transmitted through this process....speaking from experience!!!
Sorry that DOES NOT make the computer you transmitted to to be called a SERVER. Server means a different thing entirely.

SouthSouth1914:
You don’t have the sever yet you boasted of doing electronic transmission which was budgeted for and the National Assembly approved..

Yakubu you need to do your explanations from jail period!
You can transmit data to a computer system, that DOES NOT make the computer system a SERVER. That is just a system hosting the database. Server is a computer system that "serves" pages across the networks. Know the difference please.

CelebritiesRe: Taye Currency Son, Yusuf Currency Sworn In As Lawmaker In Oyo House Of Assembly by MT: 8:36am On Jun 11, 2019
Sad that majority of people don't understand how critical house of assembly is to democracy; a place meant for highly cerebral people who can challenge the excesses of the Governor and make sound laws for citizenry. Forget about all these "youths" who can sink the economy when given the opportunity. Ask what these "youths" are bringing to the table and their intellectual capabilities. Most of them, if not all, will leave us worse than we have ever been.

I laughed when this guy was campaigning on radio station. Promising electricity, road etc. and never talking about making any relevant laws for the citizens. It is not about having young people in politics, it is about having quality, reasonable people in politics who really know their onions.

PoliticsRe: Return Government Vehicles In Your Custody In 48hrs - Makinde To Ajumobi Aides by MT: 6:30pm On Jun 06, 2019
Like I always say, we lack robust system in Nigeria. Normally when any vehicle is purchased, it is supposed to be registered and assigned to a Staff
Or department. I can bet Makinde doesn't have an idea of how many cars were in the pool before he assumed office. I will only respect him if he can build a system that tracks all these government properties before he leaves office. Failure to do that, he will do the same when he's leaving. We need system that can checkmate corruption.

PoliticsRe: Makinde Reverses Appointment Of 11 Perm Secs By Ajimobi In Oyo by MT:
What Nigeria lacks is a functional system; a system that all executives and parastatals must toe. The office will end up controlling the occupants instead of the reverse. The same system that will not allow Ajimobi to mischievously appoint at the dying minutes, should not allow Makinde to reverse appointments made by the previous administration.

Please note that this is all very limited information. Please check my reply to your post from yesterday and you'll see the link to the PNP thread on Nairaland. You should get better information there.
Thank you so much. It was that link that deepened my knowledge a bot about the whole thing. I am qualified for the Manitoba PNP, though I do not have any link to the place. I am just trying to figure out the best way to handle this successfully.
TravelRe: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program - Connect Here Part 8 by MT: 9:42pm On May 30, 2019
Please House, I hope someone can create time to react to this:

1. I try to read about Manitoba Skilled worker PNP and it looks ok. But I am a bit confused. The age bracket 21 - 46 years has the highest mark while as you grow old in express entry pool, the score drops. My question is can I enter into the express entry pool, and also apply to Manitoba PNP same time?. If I am issued Letter to apply in Manitoba PNP, will it assist the express entry pool or conflict?. Please note I read this on a website and i DO NOT know what to make of it:

Express Entry candidates with an enhanced provincial nomination receive an additional 600 points toward their Express Entry ranking score and are effectively fast-tracked for an invitation to apply for Canadian permanent residence.

2. What is the difference between the Federal Skilled Workers and Skilled Workers for PNP. Are they the same and which one has the lower benchmark in all these immigration programme.

3. Where can one get the CRS to apply to PNP programme or it is the same as Express Entry

Please advise, as I am just learning this. Thank you.

princekalani:
Niece one. It's good to start early
Starting early isn't the crux of the matter here but the quality of the cabinet. The old hawks are gradually taking position to feast on Oyo State treasury .When you sacrifice quality for mediocrity, the outcome is obvious.

I kinda agree with you sir. Seyi just seem genuine the way I see him
Sadly you can't judge a book by its cover. Absolute power corrupts absolutely. I'm not a politician and I can never be but the best way to deal with politicians is to have zero expectations, so you won't get disappointed. Time will tell about the directions he's heading.

samsam2019:
This man will be the best governor ever
In as much as I wish him the best, I doubt this your statement. He is surrounded by so many hawks and he has over promised. His handlers should have advised him to be more diplomatic. I can bet Ajimobi would have emptied the treasury and he will be starting from ground zero. Wages have been increased and IGR isn't catching up, especially in a clime where even rich business men don't pay taxes. He has contested twice, he will want to recoup his money too with profit. So what's left for the masses. No Governors in the history of Oyo state has surpassed the achievement of late Chief Bola Ige, a true critical thinker.

If you are over 40, then provincial nomination is your only option right now. I’m assuming you’re married.

You have two or more degrees. WES will evaluate your HND and BSC at the same price ($200+) , there’s no cost for additional documents at this stage.

Before you spend money on WES and IELTS, spend time on the provincial nomination thread. Reading, asking questions etc, and see what province will be in demand for your NOC or if you have a family member in those provinces that allow nomination. The selection process and requirements are different for each province and may vary over time.

After doing this, you can now talk about WES and IELTS.
Thanks. I will dwell on the PNP and see if there is anything in it for me. Just curious about the whole stuff and just want to try it out considering my skillset. Thanks once again.

Stencil:
Hi! Are you a single applicant? If you have a spouse, points from their IELTS and ECA (evaluation) can help boost your score. Please check your score here.

1. I suggest you start with your evaluation as this typically is a time consuming process. Prepare and write the IELTS as you wait.
2. Nope. One payment should handle everything.
3. This is what I found for PNP
Thank you for your feedback. I consider it helpful

1. Yes, start your WES evaluation as it can take up to 2 months. You can book IELTS to be in 2 months time - depending on how well prepared you are for the exam.

2. No you don't pay for each qualification if sent together. In your case, I think your HND and BSc can qualify for two or more certificates

3. After 1 and 2, you can commence (it's usually best to have all documents ready before entering the process but you can set your profile up and update at intervals, depends on what you like) then apply to the provinces you're interested in.

All the best!
You have such a kind heart. Taking time out to respond to questions from a faceless individual. God bless your soul. Thank you.

Please I need a head start as I just got a grip to start this process. Please can someone respond to these questions:

1. Do I need to do WES and IELTS before starting any of the process?

2. Do I need to pay WES for each of my credential to be evaluated. For instance, I have HND Computer Science, Bsc from a University in UK , PMP and Microsoft Certifications. I am a Software Developer.

3. I am over 40 but if I want to boost my score via pronvincial nomination, what do I have to do? Do I apply to each of the provinces as the first step or after 1 and 2 stated above, I can now commence.

I hope someone will pick this up to be addressed. Thank you.
Can someone just try to respond to this please. Just a little goodwill from someone will go a long way. Just want to know if this is for me before I waste precious time and money. Thanks

PoliticsRe: FFK I Am Glad Obasanjo & Soyinka Know Fulanisation Of Nigeria Agenda Is Real by MT: 2:59pm On May 23, 2019
tactius:
No, there is a problem, and it needs fixing.

The problem is, the population of Nigeria is growing. Land is running out for free range grazing and even for farming. As a result, it is becoming difficult for fulanis to find place to graze cow. So...crisis between them and the farmers break out....and the mess we have results.

The issue is people like FFK, Obasanjo and even Buhari are using the matter for political purposes, both in the past and in the present. Even on Nairaland, all we see here is tribal fighting...when the real problem is poor land management, and lack of desire to modernise.

The time has come for an end to open air grazing, and an end to shifting cultivation, and better land management practice. The fulanis, Nigerian farmer, government....everyone needs to change. Not APC chanji...change. Fix the railways, so that we can transport cows via rail.
I love your submission. Quite intelligent. But permit me to ask, what do you suggest as best land management for Coe grazing?. I don't seem to see the problem transportation of cows via train will solve as the main problem is grazing. Please educate me. Thanks
