Okpotu is so horribe!!!....see useless pass from a supposedly striker!! ![]() |
I dont care if okpotu scores hat trick in this match, dude is not just good. |
It's not as bad as u think. Mine stopped working this morning. I just uninstalled the whatssap totally on my phone and re downloaded a new whatssap using this link - https://www.whatsapp.com/android/ I then installed it and the latest version of whatssap is now working on my blackberry phone. In fact, far better than the one I was using before. You can give it a try |
planetx:It was unfortunate a young life had to be terminated that way. God rests his soul. However rather than blame the staffers of the hospital, the blame should be firmly placed at the Governor's doorstep. Poor infrastructure, no 24-hour light in any of the state hospital. The staffs operate in terrible conditions; most times they bring torch lights from their homes for child's delivery in labor's ward. It's sad. Unfortunately, as a measure of face saving, the Oyo State Government might sack some staffs that worked on the 31st Dec 2017 in order to cover their own failures. To clarify, he wasn't rejected but referred to UCH, again no functional ambulance. |
Please to the lawyers in the house, lets assume I use a,phone while driving and I am ticketed. If I choose to challenge their claim in court instead of paying, what evidence have they got?. I guess it's just their words against mine?. Please educate. |
9jaDoc:Obviously you are a typical Nigerian that will not accept being wrong because you feel it disparages you. Continue in your ignorance till you disgrace your future generation. For individuals that are willing to learn and open minded, you only APPLY to be ICAN MEMBER and your course must not necessarily be accounting-related. For you to be CHARTERED, you need to sit and pass ICAN professional exams. YOU DO NOT APPLY TO BE CHARTERED, you sit and PASS relevant exams. Ooni of Ife is a MEMBER of ICAN but NOT a CHARTERED Accountant. I am out..... |
9jaDoc:Don't be mischievous. Show me where it states you must pass an exam to become a MEMBER. If an engineer applies, he will become a MEMBER. Again, read this straight from ICAN: NOTE: Only qualified candidates who have relevant accounting related working experience should apply for the membership of the Institute in line with the period stated below: Graduates of Accounting 36 Months Graduates of other Disciplines 48 Months AAT 48 Months Contact ‘membership@ican.org.ng’ or call 01-4542097 for further enquiry http://icanig.org/ican/article.php?id=17 |
J 9jaDoc:@9jaDoc, You have only succeeded in supporting what I just explained to you. Register first to become a member. Then take the exam to become CHARTERED. It's that simple. I assume you have not been a member of any professional body before, so this is becoming too complex for you to understand. |
@9jadoc Why are you sounding so uneducated?. You can be a member without being chartered. Not all members are chartered but they can be if they decide to sit and pass the professional exam. I refer you to ICAN website stated below and read the conditions to become a member. I have copied it out for u to read: http://icanig.org/ican/article.php?id=17 NOTE: Only qualified candidates who have relevant accounting related working experience should apply for the membership of the Institute in line with the period stated below: Graduates of Accounting 36 Months Graduates of other Disciplines 48 Months AAT 48 Months Contact ‘membership@ican.org.ng’ or call 01-4542097 for further enquiry **In summary being a member DOES NOT mean you are CHARTERED. OONI of ife is NOT a Chartered Accountant. QED |
Konquest:@Konquest Sir, you are wrong. Once you register with ICAN, you automatically become a MEMBER. You might never wish to take any of the ICAN professional exam, you will still be a MEMBER once you are paying your membership due. This applies to any professional association. For you to be CHARTERED, you must have sat and passed ALL the ICAN professional exams. I hope you get to see the difference sir. Just for your information, Ooni of ife attended The Polytechnic, Ibadan . |
Konquest:Point of correction sir, he is NOT a chartered accountant but rather a MEMBER of the Institute of Chartered Accountant. |
I am more interested in the risk management process that banks undertake. It seems straight jacket to me.....to me it is just about looking for the worth of collateral that matches the loan being sourced . That sounds so simplistic. Trying to determine if a bank should finance a business idea in a country like Nigeria that lacks empirical , reliable data can not be considered as part of the risk management process. I stand to be corrected if you do have a contrary opinion. Another thing is not every one can produce physical collateral. Why cant bank evolve a kind of credit rating as obtainable abroad where loan can be given without necessarily asking for physical collateral ?. And we all know that once the credit rating is ruined, the person wont be eligible to any credit from any banks again. Then i am certain the high interest rate charged on the loan will kill the business faster than the loan itself. Just my 2 cents. |
Microsoft is tactically moving away from ASP.NET MVC. The shiny new framework is ASP.NET MVC Core. If you are new to MIcrosoft, I will advise you plunge into this framework. The learning curve might be a bit steep but it is worth it. Its an amazing framework, trust me. The framework is at 2.0. If you need an help while learning, you might reach out to me or any ASP MVC core dudes here. Cheers! Ps* I'm not disparaging the op in any regards please. Just adding my own 2 cents. |
otitokoroleti:Seriously, you are well informed. I marvel at your knowledge of Ibadan politics. You are clearly in the know. Someone mentioned "beautifully constructed IDC" road, please don't dare mention that cos that's my area. Nothing has been constructed there (general gas to Akobo ojurin). If you need picture,i will generously post it. |
Due to Ajimobi's antecedent,we expected more from him in Ibadan. We voted en masse for him but he FAILED us. The sad thing is that I can't see any credible candidate in this forthcoming election. For the present governor : Ajimobi ti je aye Awon omo e maye. |
proffemi:@proffemi, With individuals like you, I guess there is still hope in the system. You are civil and articulate. Keep it up, I hope your like abound. Thank you. |
@proffemi I have been following this thread with keen interest. Please my own concern is there is a wide gap between the town and the gown. The town is not feeling the impact of our university. No research, no innovation. A sad reminder was during the Ebola outbreak - none of our professors could come up with a therapy (even if it will fail) to tackle the deadly outbreak. Its a sad story. What's the purpose of education without a concrete value being added to the society. Then, why will they be asking the FG that the universities should be exempted from TSA. That demand to me is reckless. We are all aware of our the so called dons embezzle funds recklessly. I am sorry we are not ready to go to that regime again. |
Iamzik:You really made a lot of sense. |
Barrister in the house, please can you provide a robust response to these 2 questios: 1. My lady friend got married 6 years ago, the husband abandoned her like 4 years ago. He just left the house and couldn't be traced. They did registry wedding. He didn't even know what his child looked like as he disappeared while the wife was pregnant. My friend was browsing the Internet when she discovered that he has remarried since 2 years ago at ikoyi registry. No divorce, nothing. What legal posture could my friend take to address this injustice?. 2. I want to know if it's only ikoyi registry that embassies recognised in Nigeria as a lot of people troop there to marry. Also, what's the cost implication to marry at ikoyi. Thank. |
Olu317:I wouldn't have dignified you with a response but your crass ignorance was legendary. In your vain mind, you were quick to refer to the bible as a reference in this case. Why didn't you refer to the bible when most of the pastors were doing many things unbiblical to enrich themselves. Sow in pounds, reap in pounds among others. In the bible, when one new leader emerged, the previous melted into the background. People like u won't question why the sudden change in RCCG structure (to what ends?) - G.O Nigeria and spiritual leader International. Your pastors can't be ever wrong. They can't be questioned. They are too big to subject themselves to constituted authority. No thanks to people of your ilks. Continue to live your miserable life like this while expecting Nigeria to turn to America in a blink of an eye. |
I do not know if pastor adeboye was rightly quoted but if he was then his speech was regrettable. The law was enacted since 2011, why was he making it sound as if it was a new law. Also, the position of the newly created G.O Nigeria has been undermined by his speech. Baba has stylishly defined his scope and limited authority for him. Before you come for my head, why is it that only pentecostal church is complaining about this regulation?; what happens to the Anglican, methodist etc of this world. Note I'm also a christian. Enough said. |
I'm not aware of the fact of this case. But be advised that court can revoke C of O on any land. It all boils down on which premise the C of O is founded. |
Good morning Peeps, I have been reading comment, just want to drop my little piece. I am an experienced PMP credential holder and I have led many enterprise projects. Please know that earning PMP credential is just to demonstrate that you have the working knowledge of PMI-based methodology. It is not a proof that you can successfully lead a project. You need to understand "tailoring" in project management which can never be taught but could be learnt if you work with the best hands in the industry. This will be a good start. Understanding methodologies to complement PMI will be the right direction to head as well. In summary, PMP credential is good, go for it but it is just the beginning as there are a lot of things to learn in order to be able to lead a project successfully in a practical world. Thanks. |
Rejecting "his excellency" title after basking in it during their first terms is a fraud and the masses won't be hoodwinked by it. They are being desperate to appeal to the masses but this won't cut it. They have to be more novel with their acts. Both of them are a disgrace to governance. |
The people you saw in the pictures are majorly uneducated and you cannot expect them not to be excited when they saw their governor walking on the street. This does not reflect the reality on ground. Ajimobi ran Oyo state aground with his wife. It is a shame that we voted for him during his first term election but he dissapointed us in term of performance. His second term election is being fiercely contested in court. It is not yet Uhuru for him. |
Please can someone break this policy down using simple terms. Normally I source for dollar at high cost from the hausas, deposit it into my DOM and initiate a transfer to my merchant. Does it mean I can't do this again ?. If yes, I understand I can use mastercard (if it is still allowed by CBN) but not all merchants accept this window of payment (especially the chinese), so what else can I do ?. Then at what rate will the transaction be done, is it the CBN official rate or mastercard rate or what ?. On a curious note, how will those people dealing with the items that have been banned from sourcing for dollars from the CBN do their transactions, especially now that DOM is blocked ?. What will happen to the parralel market in the long term ?. Please let's leave politics out of this discource and let's concentrate on how this policy can benefit us and the nation. Anyone that brings PMB or Jonathan into this issue should be considered a political bigot. |
My own talkative governor has gone AWOL since his "reelection". It does not seem we have any governor here not to talk of ranking him. Guess his name *smiles* Abiola Ajimobi of Oyo state |
Please I will like to ask if Glo has blocked its 3GB BIS from being used to browse on laptop. From my end, the desktop manager connects but browsing is refused but skype works. I have shut down my laptop several times. Are you experiencing the same, please let me know. Thanks |
ibnew:Please I humbly beg to differ on the highlighted point. There is no excuse for people in position of governance. When anyone is elected into position of governance, he inherits both the assest and liabilities. Saying the rot in education was handed to his government is inexcusable. He chose to achieve total turnaround in governance during his manifesto. |
lakefist:This smirks of crass ignorance. Monthly allocation is statutory. PDP-led government would not REFUSE (as you claimed) to pay APC-controlled states while paying PDP. In the case of Oyo state, Ajimobi took a bond on behalf of the Oyo State government, and the FG Government, being a guarantor of the bond, has to deduct certain amount every month from Oyo state monthly allocation before it is released to the state. Thats why the monthly allocation in Oyo state has reduced (coupled with the fact that the oil price has fallen in the international market). You cant blame the Federal Government for that, you should be asking your Governor what he used the bond money to do and if there was a genuine need to take the bond in the first place. |
People should not be shocked that APC performed well in the last presidential and senatorial election and ACCORD party performed woefully. The reason is very simple. A lot of voters were uneducated, they could not differentiate between presidential and senatorial election. They just wanted to vote in Buhari and they kept thumbprinting for "Broom" logo for both presidential and senatorial. In summary, APC was voted in Oyo state NOT because of the love for Ajimobi or APC but because of Buhari as an individual and who he represents to them. This forthcoming election will be different. Probability of Ladoja winning is so high. |
