babs787:Amin thumma amin. Thanks |
Islam and Nation of Islam (NI) are two different things; hence subscribing to one does not in any way joining the other. Any way, I think we have once throughly discussed this issue on this board. For further proofs on what I say, make a little research on who are NI; what is their doctrine; how do they consider their leader, Frakhan and so on. You'll tell me. May Allah guide us to the right path, amin. |
May Allah give all our Muslim sisters the courage and strength of covering their unclothedness. I have had numerous encounters with some sisters who most of the times complain on whys must they cover up? Boring and tiresome that is, they bitterly say. All that cause this and more "hard" feeling is nobody by Shaitan, may Allah curse him. Because of this kinda feeling, I know of many well-learned Muslimahs who dress so indecently. I feel ashamed. Look, for intance, what is today common to Arab Muslimahs. Hardly you see three but two of them wear lousy and so un-Islamic clothes. May Allah guide us to the right path, amin.ht path, amin. |
Salam, Babs, let me join zayhal to welcome you back. It's gladdening seeing you old timers back. |
^^^May Allah bless you, brother Sweetnecta. I really like your above reply. |
toba:What am I, toba? ![]() Long time; I have not been active here any more. Yet I read the first page of this thread. Very intriguing and, at the same time, hilarious. To a lesser extent, pitiful. How I wish human had total control of their feelings? |
Novel, I presumed. ![]() BTW, maclatunji, are you one? |
Exactly, ymozay, I can see that. But let me remind him: Usisky, five days have gone since my response above. We are patiently waiting for you. Thanks |
Mstssssssssssssss! I firmly believe that God enriches whosoever He wants to enrich. May He enrich us, amin. Hence I don't have any grudge against anyone He enriches. And, saying, for example, that 'Yar Adua's riches were gotten from the public funds is risky, for, to say it in a briefest way, I don't have any substantiated reason to back that claim. R.I.P 'Yar Adua. And God knows best. |
This thread will better be re-titled: A Call to Delusion. May Allah guide us all to the right path, amin.I can't say it in a better way; may Allah bless the poster (below):
Dr Khalifa died age 54. That is 2.842*19! Usisky, you need to realize that knowledge can be a fitna on its own. An American PHD holder from Egypt thinks because 19 angels guard the fire then 19 is the seal of his 'messangership'. I personally found the video ridiculous and highly refutable. I do not think you can use science as it is taught in America to ever attempt to remove an ayat in the Quran! The Quran is absolutely complete and the theory postulated by Dr Khalifa immediately fails a simple test of logic in science. For example, if in my research I found a consistent behavior in 99.9998% of my specimen, then I should never ever claim it is 100% by discarding the 0.0002% as being lies. It is called cheating. Religion has to be 100% perfect if it is ABSOLUTELY from Allah. I want to promise you Usisky, that anyone can be mischievious with numbers. Your video conveniently picks and uses verses or even parts of verses to justify your miracle of 19! May Allah help you! You have done nothing to impress me with this kind of video. By manipulating Lunar dates to suit your obsession with 19 makes it even more ridiculous. Moreover, this should be a big warning to fellow Muslims studying in the 'west'. We are made to take in so many garbage for exam purposes that if we ever try to apply it to religious reasoning, then we will fail before Allah. Religion is not common sense. Islam has been taught by the unlettered prophet, so I do not need an American phd holder to teach me my deen thank you.
|
Usisky again? Welcome back. ![]() Although in hurry, I find it necessary to leave a passing comment here. Mr. Usisky, I can't locate any meaning in your lengthy posts. So wordy but so empty. I had expected to read about a good description of Salaat from the noble Qur'an, but I can't see that up to the above reply. Let me rephrase our question: Describe to the readers how Salaat is performed and how you do yours from the noble Qur'an? Don't import anything from elsewhere. Qur'an only. Thanks |
Stupidest thought ever by a religious body on earth! Pathetic. ![]() |
Who cares? ![]() |
Salam, azharuddin and all, I'm proud of you, brothers and sisters. May Allah reward you for the good job, amin. How's fasting? Thanks |
Is this the first time we heard of this rumour? |
Salam, Sis Ifalways; subhanallah! Are u still around? Words cannot express how I missed Nairaland (Islam for Muslim childboard), and especially u. Hope u are doing great. May Allah guide and protect u. May He put us among the dwellers of Jannatul Firdaus, amin. Brother Jarus, may Allah reward u and the brother who'll sponsor this Iftaar and every good Muslim and Muslimah. How I wish I could attend; or hold one here in Kano as well? May Allah's Rahmah shower upon all of us. RAMADHAN MUBARAK. |
Salam, Jamalah (author), although via phone, I throughly read your piece with rapt attention. It contains what's called an ugly truth and something else. Hence ma succint conclusion: you're right and not right. That I'll say more if we can privetely discuss. BTW, am also from Kano; and still stay there. Besides, I'm younger than you, for I was much below 18 when the incident occured. And lastly, you MUST be new to this forum. I've been here since 2006. |
Three female NYSC members raped, police arrest 3 suspects, in Delta State Three female members of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), serving in Delta State, have been reported attacked and raped in Owodokpokpo Igbide community, Isoko South Local Government Area of the state. According to local sources, a six-man gang allegedly forced their way into the residence of the Corps members (who are serving as school teachers in the community), and dragged them into a nearby bush amidst gunshots. After raping them, the men reportedly also took their cellphones and other items. However, an intensive manhunt launched by security operatives has led to the arrest of three out of the six persons who are suspected to have carried out the act. The suspects are now being questioned by the police. The Public Relations Officer of the Police in Delta State, Mr Charles Muka, an Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP), confirmed to newsmen that the three suspects arrested had made useful statements to the Police. He said information obtained from those already in the net will help the police apprehend those still at large. This incident is only the latest in a growing list of incidents of sexual violence against female NYSC members. Among the most reported cases since 2008, are the following: On 23 October 2008, a horde of unidentified gunmen reportedly invaded the residence of the Corps members posted to Abonnema town, Akuku Toru Local Government Area of Rivers State, broke into every flat and raped 28 female members at gunpoint. In October 2009, a female Corps member, Miss Grace Ushang, was raped to death in Maiduguri, Borno State, by suspected religious fundamentalists who said they were incited by her wearing a pair of regulation khaki trousers. On 16 September 2010, five Corps members – four of them ladies – were seized by gunmen in Rivers State and taken to a forest in Abia State where they were held for 20 days; by the time they were freed by security forces on 4 October, there were unconfirmed reports that they had been sexually abused by their captors. On 23 March this year, a traditional ruler, the Alowa of Ilowa-Ijesa in Obokun Local Government Council, Oba Bukola Alli, allegedly lured a 24-year-old female Corps member into his residence, locked her up and eventually raped her; the Oba is currently standing trial before an Osogbo Magistrate Court. In April this year, during the post-election violence in Bauchi State in which 10 Corps members were killed, it was reported that “one of the NYSC members killed was pregnant and also raped by her killers”. This most recent incident, coming just a few days after gunmen seized another five Corps members and demanded a N100 million ransom in Rivers State, will certainly intensify the debate on whether the NYSC should be continued or scrapped. http://saferafricagroup.com/2011/06/12/three-female-nysc-members-raped-police-arrest-3-suspects-in-delta-state/ |
zayhal:We miss her her. Really. I'll go there and say salam to her now, inshaAllah. Any way, why has she left us here? Can anyone help, please? I think she should at least be coming the way I do it, as me too barely have enough time to spend here, or elsewhere aboard Nairaland. And alimat2 too. |
Salam, thanks Sister (above), for the correction. It's a typo which was inadvertently made. Bros Lagosboy should forgive the mixed up as I've already corrected, pls. |
Salam, Although I didn't plan it, i.e. to respond directly to the matter regarding the alleged burning of Fadima (ra)'s house, I'll like to share one succinct piece of info I found on that on one Muslim website. Here it goes: Common Sense can prove this story is fabricated by the shia It is a well know fact that Fatimah (ra) died almost six months after the death of Prophet Muhammad (s). So how is it possible that she was assaulted after the event of Saqifa which happend at the death of Prophet Muhammad (s) and she had a miscarriage due to that injury and she died SIX MONTHS LATER? That is obviously not possible. If things go wrong at miscarriage then death occurs soon after, not six months later! Any doctor can verify that! Answer: Thanks are due to Allah and prayer and peace upon the Messenger of Allah, his family, and his Companions. The story of the assault on Fatima, the burning of her house, and the murder of her fetus is not supported by a prophetic narration or by an authentic historical story. Logic and common sense rejects this story at all costs. Let us assume for the moment that Abu Bakr and Omar bin Al-khattab really committed that heinous crime. But what about Ali bin Abi Talib? How could Ali stay quiet while his wife is beaten, his house is assaulted, and his son is killed? Is this the portrait of Ali bin Abi Talib that the Shia are trying to paint? The least man in faith, chivalry, and manhood will not allow his wife to be beaten. Then how come when the woman is the daughter of the Prophet peace be upon him and the man is the mighty Ali bin Abi Talib? This is the result of the fabrication in history that became one of the tenets of faith for the Shia. Al-Sayyed Hussain FadlAllah, the grand Shia scholar in Lebanon, had denied the incident of the assault on Fatima. Hence, lots of Shia scholars waged a war on him. They charged him with “Wahhabisim”. One of the grand Shia scholars in Iran Al-Tabrizi had issued a verdict excommunicating FadlAllah from Shiasim because FadlAllah had denied one of the major religious beliefs of the Shia. FadlAllah’s denial had come after extensive research in the Shia’s version of the story of the assault and he depended much on logic and common sense. The book of “The Leadership and Politics” (Al-Imamah wa Al-Siyasah) by Ibn Qutayibah is the only Sunni book that narrated such a story. Nevertheless, many Muslim scholars declared that the book is wrongfully attributed to Ibn Qutayibah. In the following link we had examined the authenticity of the book. Ibn Qutayibah did not write that book. http://www.ansar.org/forums/showthread.php?threadid=17 Therefore, it is not fair to take that book as an argument against Ahl Al-Sunnah. Even if we assumed that Ibn Qutayibah really did write that book, then we find out that the incident of the assault is written without an attribution. We do not know who really narrated that story. History books contain the good and the bad. We have to always distinguish the good from the bad through attribution. |
Salam, May Allah bless and reward you, brother Chakula. Keep it up! |
@LagosSHI'A, Although you terribly failed answering my questions and u resort to evade some cunningly there, here is one more verse regarding the prestigious positions held by the Sahabas most of whom you ignorantly abuse. Bismillahirrahmaanirraheem: If anyone contends with the Messenger even after guidance has been plainly conveyed to him, and follows a path other than that becoming to men of Faith, We shall leave him in the path he has chosen, and land him in Hell,- what an evil refuge! 4:115 Still waiting for my answers. . . |
LagosShia: LagosShia:My time is invaluable. Hence won't waste it explaining to you that you don't even believe in. I'll finished and at last you'll straight-away throw out everything I say. Or, do you now believe in those ahadeeth books? |
vedaxcool:Thanks for the call. But I kinda believe it doesn't reach that level yet. And, whenever it goes there I'll simply leave him alone; for good. May Allah reward and guide us all to the right path, amin. |
Salam, I am strongly convinced that engaging a Shi'ite fellow, especially like LagosShi'a in any form of argument is next to a waste of time. However, my being convinced notwithstanding, I'll fulfil my promise of, at least, rebuking the kind of misinformation he's busy parading up here. That will, among other things, at least help some gullible Muslim brothers and sisters from believing in such a crap. Hence I wish I had all the chances and time in the world to engage him; sure he'll know (God Willing) that a tea is not just a water. But that I unfortunately lack, almost always. Oh Allah, help me. . . Any way, for a stater, LagosShi'a, the case simply emanates from the passionate (which is, in actual sense: dispassionate) hatred you have for those Sahabas and more you mentioned. What a risk! Remember where Allah, the Exalted, clearly extols those Sahabas. Yet you are foolhardily accusing them of action which they would prevent from happening, am sure to their last breath. Even common sense cannot believe that fabricated story, which Shi'ites are very fond of telling. Do you know who are the Sahabas about whom Allah revealed these verses: Bismillahirrahmaanirraheem: The vanguard (of Islam)- the first of those who forsook (their homes) and of those who gave them aid, and (also) those who follow them in (all) good deeds,- well-pleased is Allah with them, as are they with Him: for them hath He prepared gardens under which rivers flow, to dwell therein for ever: that is the supreme felicity.9:100 But those who before them, had homes (in Medina) and had adopted the Faith,- show their affection to such as came to them for refuge, and entertain no desire in their hearts for things given to the (latter), but give them preference over themselves, even though poverty was their (own lot). And those saved from the covetousness of their own souls,- they are the ones that achieve prosperity. 59:09 Among other verses? I'll come back after you fairly answer above. NB: Wallahi the reply was made in haste, yet I'm certain it says a lot. InshaAllah I'll make a more comprehensive reply after your response above. And special thanks to those who prayed for me. May Allah reward you all and guide us all to the right path, amin. |
Salam, Fear Allah in whatever we do, say, etc. But this what you write is but, InshaAllah readers will see soon. May Allah give me the strength to compose a reply to this thread, amin. |
chakula:Amin. I like this prater; it says a lot. |
Thats Nigeria. Leave us as we are. Simple. |
Barka da Jumu'ah in advance. |
