A friend of mine has almost same IELTS score as mine and is already in the pool. We wrote the exam together, he's a lecturer.
By almost do u mean that he or she has 7.5 in listening too or more or less?

Would u be nice enough as to ask/tell what's ur friend's score?

Hello Gurus, sorry that this might sound like a silly question. So i faxed my certificate and sent my transcript on friday the 22nd. I checked my profile now and it says we have received your documents. We are reviewing your documents. Does this mean that they have actually recieved the docs and reviewing or they mean my payment has been received. (Sorry if this sounds confusing)

Faxed it to where?

Good day peeps,

I really appreciate your effort, and I have read through the pages and still gathering my information.

While trying to get documents together to apply for this PR thing:

Someone sent me a mail he got from a Canada-based immigration consultants where they claim to have slots for work permits and visas.

This package comes with job offers from employers that will sponsor the visa+permit and thereafter collect the fees back from your monthly salaries based on certain percentages ( First 3 - 4 Months).

Kindly advise if this is obtainable. Please help me as it involves a processing fee of 50k for the agreement and documentations.

I count on your experience. Thank you again

L 9
R 7
S 8.5
W 7.5
now to decide study or EE route!

Congrats on ur result.

@bolded, do u have both academic and general results abi u want to just write the one that's pending?

If the above result is general, sister its EE route that's ur decision, if its academic, then its study. One "result" can't serve 2 purposes

Oga stop blaming the airline or the travel agent. the whole problem was caused by you. I always use travelstart and wakanow and they have always been very good. people like you mislead the once who will not read in between the lines. you caused you problem yourself. I will keep using agencies to book flight and get the best deal. BA is a principled airline and don't tolerate this kind of your drama. I thank God you have learnt your lesson. i hope you really have learnt your lessons- if yes, please stop blaming the airline and even the agent.

Thank you for this code. it worked like magic. please guys go and try it. i got 15k reduction from the initial fare for real. can i use this more than once?

With all ur vex u still used the code, u fall my hand o, angry lipsrsealed lol

Good day housePlease I need your advice seriously.Me and my husband Ielts result came out todayMine -LRWS 8.5,7,7,7.5Husband- LRWS 9,9,6.5,7. first attempt (7.5,7.6.6.5)I am apply as PA because of the result, I am not sure of which of his result that I will use because we are thinking of remarking his writing in the latest result.if I use his latest result, we got 437if I use the previous one we got 433But with the current draw, 437 is safer. My question is that should we use the 433 and apply for remark or 437?The second Part is that I don't have upto 3years experience. Now we are thinking of claiming 3years saying that I started teaching when I was schooling, is that advisable? Please I need your advice please..will they confirm from where I work by coming or calling?thanks

And I have seen people that submitted same August and also passed medical in the same month. Is it normal or I am just worried.

@winter: My case is similar to yours. I had my baby a week to when ppr mail came in so what I did was to figure out my VO which is Ottawa so I mailed them cos the mail states i must notify them before sending down my passport so I mailed them and I attached a copy of her birth certificate just to show that I just had the baby a week earlier and I was gonna notify them. In the process of waiting for their reply I went ahead to have her int'l passport expressly done as well as her medicals. I also raised a CSE and attached her documents that I have available and also I put a cal thru to Ottawa; the agent was very helpful and he acknowledged receipt of my mail. A place holder will be created for your baby where you will be asked to upload her passport, birth certificate, additiona family information form and so on. You will then submit and make payment for the baby's application. Then she will be added and given a UCi number. I was told the first ppr mail will be cancelled and a new mail will be sent so I can send the baby's passport with mine and that of my husby.
Note: My own passport as not been stamped my baby came before PPR mail. Then for medicals I will recommend "The children practice in ikoyi" the give preferential treatment to new born. You won't have to queue. I hope you find this helpful. Best of luck.

I remember when u were worried that they hadn't replied u, thank God for u. Congrats

Any help will be appreciated.
You should rewrite ur ielts unless its still under 6 weeks then u can request a remark. Once u get ur 8777 u have to be d PA

My people, thanks to everyone for the good work here. I took IELTS on 19th August and result was L7 S8 W7.5 R7. But using the CRS checker, just 1 point difference in Listening score gives a gap of more than 50. Am I getting something wrong? This result seems to be useless.

Your conclusion is very on point unless u request a remark and ur score is upgraded but meanwhile, register for another exam and aim for 8777 in LRWS. Good luck

Slowlybtsurely, I saw my Bigbroda - Bigfido giving a Kissoflife to a damsel Toyogirl well known as Hephgirl, her eyes beaming like a GlitteringStar. Definitely both were Crazyinlove displaying their affection under a Lovetree. Unknown to them, there was a Canadianfly about giving a Kontagious sting.

Because Godisawesome, they were able to meet Drhopeful who like a Ballerz gave a Billy treatment.

All these happened while we all wait to receive a Judgment that has seen a Blackbuddy and a Merrymum (40manlappy and Mummyjaygirls) spending Winter with JustinTrudeau.

At the end, we all will testify to having an AwesomeGod.

Ok, thank you very much for your time, I’ll like to add that;

1. She had a complete 1yr work experience at a different company PRIOR to joining this current company where she’s been working for the 2yr & 8months. Is it possible to combine both to make up for 3yrs and of course claim full points?

I know that using the CRS TOOL, it has to be in a single occupation. A friend said for EE pool, it doesn’t have to be a single occupation only. I just want clarity, thanks.

2. Her sibling got married to a Canada PR holder in Nigeria earlier this year but is yet to finalise paperworks(still processing) to go be with the spouse in Canada. Since the spouse(in Canada) is already a sister-in-law, is it possible to claim the "family in Canada” 15points using her? Pls take a look at the attached.

@cochtrane, @blackbuddy, @bigfido, @boldinc, @40manlappy, @MummyJaygirls and everyone.

Yes u can combine years from different jobs and yes u can claim points from ur in-law as long as she's willing to provide appropriate docs and proof of relationship

Dear house, I recently raised a CSE to add my spouse. We were required to upload 10 to 15 pictures for proof of relationship such as wedding pictures and post wedding pictures. There is also a questionnaire that requests for pictures with timeline. The confusion now is we are not sure if the 10 to 15 pictures relates to the total pictures that are to be uploaded or just the wedding and post wedding pictures. People that have gone thru this stage please help.

Add ur wedding pictures plus pre wedding pictures, someone who got this request added, hall receipt, phone history btw both of them, pictures( pre, wedding and honeymoon) She Hs PPR now grin

Pls asking for a friend:

1. He's the principal applicant, wife didn't do ECA or IELTS. While filing EE profile he put wife's employment history, now post ITA wife is unable to get Ref letter from the 4 previous employers (Banks). There is a placeholder to upload employment records for spouse...

What should he do? Move info to personal history

In my own case, I submitted my spouse's employment letter and wrote LOE on why Ref letters couldn't be obtained.

My advice to him based on previous posts have read, "he should delete wife's details from work history and just move it to personal history", that way there won't be any placeholders...

2. He has more than 3 Work experiences, placeholder doesn't specify in what order to upload. Told him I did from "present to past" but when I submitted ADR I noticed all my experiences were uploaded the other way round (from past to present) and ofcos it was not corresponding at all, so I attached LOE to my ADR. My question now is? Should he upload from past to present or what is the accepted format He should upload as he arranged them on his work history, it doesn't matter if its scattered later, that one is normal glitch with the CIC website

Kindly shed more light Pls @mummyjaygirls @40manlappy @ everybody with relevant info pls... Thanks House

Your advice is equally correct smiley

Hello everyone. I have a marriage date issue which I am trying not to complicate but also ensure no ambiguity, so will be glad for your input.

Did religious marriage (nikah) and reception in May, few years back. There was a local newspaper notification on this (me sef tire as I see am!). I also had a Facebook events notification for friends. We were given a marriage certificate issued by an islamic organisation.

Then did marriage registry wedding in June same year. Issued Wedding Registry certificate. Spouse submitted this to IQAS for change of name proof.

1. Which date should I use in my application?
2. I am thinking of writing a LOE to explain the date chosen, is it necessary?

Thanks in advance

Good evening seniors,
I have a serious or complicated concern and will really appreciate your advise even if you have not been in my shoes before.

In total i have about 37 months of work experience but the challenge is that about 8 months of this, i was a freelance IT consultant, so people hired me when they get a project and i get paid on an agreed term(milestones). In this particular period, 3 consultants agreed to bring me on a particular project and so i got paid from the 3 of them at different times during the project.

Since there was no formal documentation(no contract document at all) and its almost impossible to get a reference letter since its not a company per se,what can i do to claim points for the said period? i mean the 8 month period.

cc: mummyjaygirls, vcole, cochtrane, dupyshoo et all

Ask the nicest of the contractors to write u a ref letter on their letter head, remember to use IRCC's specifications. Good luck

Your can request a remark in all bands, Insha Allah there will be an upward review and ur 15k will be refund but pending the response from BC, just try retake the test and practice more. Good luck
