Good morning everyone. Pls I have a situation..
My university name is not on the list of WES for ECA.
At first I thought maybe I did not check well. I typed the name and searched through the list. It's not there.

Pls what do I do?

WES is not the only evaluating body, use another.

Each time I see that phrase "Obodo oyinbo no easy" I smile. Abeg make I ask....9ja easy?

I see all the posts confirm they all got a job or two before, during and after getting a Canadian diploma or certificate. But in 9ja, some people won't find jobs even with a Msc. Abi I lie?

I think it’s in reference to the modus operandi of both countries. From disorganized to organized. Lol

Yes. My sis used them recently and got her eca in 7weeks. 3weeks to respond to her initial mail and request for her credit card details. After the payment, her eca came out after 4weeks.

Thanks

I have another question as regards cargo to Canada. How is it done? About how much does it cost? Are they efficient? Are there any restrictions as to what can be sent through them? Can someone who used them give me contact of the ones he/she used.
Thanks in advance.

There are agents that cargo stuff. It’s usually cheaper from 100kg and above. You can cargo anything except meat and fowl products. If found by CBSA they will trash it

Hi MummyJaygirls,
I see you are in Edmonton. My family and I will be landing in September. I need to sort accommodation before landing. Can you please advise on how to go about it and possibly link me up with a real estate agent.
Also, which area is safe and better to live with family?
Thanks in advance.

Sorry for the late response, it’s best u send me a mail for enquiries. I respond a little faster via mail

I don’t have any realtors contact but u can search all dem rentfaster, kijiji and if u know someone around, they can help u look it up and pay if u like it.

Hello People of God!

Driver's License issue here o. Please assist.

I've passed the knowledge test and dropped my Nigerian license. They issued a Class 7 license and told me to check back for a
possible upgrade to Class 5. To my surprise, I got a feedback that "At this time, your GDL exemption cannot be considered. The driving license that was submitted from Nigeria does not comply with the required standards to sufficiently support your driving history."

I want your advice before I ask them to explain what they are talking about...cos I don't understand. I'm in Alberta.

Thank you so much!!!

How long have u had d license for? Is it original? You should go to the registry so they explain well. Do u have frsc letter?

This is just one example. I've seen guys that got good insurance deals because they had a letter from their insurance company from back home. Once your instinct prompts u to get any document follow that instinct because the force moving you to Canada knows you are gonna need it.

well said bro

Ok Boss.

Thanks for the clarification.

It is safe to say that the FRSC driving experience letter may not worth the hassles.

sorry, too lazy to read from the beginning of the convo, but ur last statement got me, as per the frsc letter, u may never know when it will come in handy, just get one if u can.

Success stories all the way. Well done guys.

Please, I need your advice.

My ECA report is on the way. We initially did not plan to do a WES evaluation for my wife, because my points are high enough, and we didn't want to go through the stress. However, now we consider that the extra 8 marks may come in handy.

My question is pre-ITA do I need my wife's ECA to come out before entering the pool? In other words, when asked:

"What is the highest level of education for which your spouse or common-law partner's has:
earned a Canadian degree, diploma or certificate; or
had an Educational Credential Assessment (ECA)? (ECAs must be from an approved agency, in the last five years)"

Can I say she has a Bachelor's degree, even if it hasn't been evaluated yet?

Thanks in anticipation.

You can enter the pool without her eca, say no to her eca question. When u get her eca, u update accordingly
