Use IOM Wuse 2. It's close to old Banex. They're cheaper than Abuja Clinics (41k for adults against 48k in Abuja clinics), better organized and super fast. By the next day they had called to inform us that all the results were okay and had been transmitted on e-medicals.

You need to book an appointment.

whats their fees for children?

Cic says it has to be the principal applicant's account but the money is in my husband's bank account

u can just write LOE that the chunk is from ur hubby, its not a problem. However, it has been talked about on page 0 of this thread how to go about monies from spouse

Hello house. . .kudos to everyone on this platform.
I have a little issue. Although I'm currently awaiting my ECA from Iqas and uts a bit delayed. Our CRS point is 443 so we are optimistic about getting ITA on the next draw after my ECA is sorted. The issue now is, I am the principal applicant but the chunk of the money is my husband's personal account and we have to print 6 months bank statement. How do we go about this please?

Whose bank statements?

I friend submitted a scanned photocopy of a document (ECA or so, can't remember )and his application was returned (incomplete) i guess he was not too lucky

oh i see where u r coming from.

There are some documents that MUST be scanned direct from the original doc eg, ECA, IELTS, SCHOOL CERTS, however marriage cert doesnt fall into this category. Photocopy is accepted.

**i can't readily find the link on cic but its there smiley

I guess I should have said PPR. COPR is the letter. Please correct me if I am wrong.

I have been waiting for the passport request. At a point I thought I got the email and deleted it unknowingly. But God have me the grace to be patient. And it came.

I have a question though. The letter stated that the validity of the visa is dependent on the expiration of my medicals or passport which ever come first. My question is, does this mean that I must travel, and won’t be able to renew/repeat the medicals? Or this option no longer applies?

Your application must have been shipped to London, those guys are known for obeying the 6 months rule(even Canada no dey obey their rule reach them) lol

Yup, u MUST travel, if it expires before u travel have to repeat the process all over.

I don't know if u contact them before expiration of the visa, they may extend validity. No harm in confirming from cic

Hello guys. While you were talking about visa refusals, I realized I had filled "No" in that part of the statutory questions in my E-APR because I thought it was visa refusal to Canada. I had a visa refusal to an African country but I appealed and got the visa. Is it too late to inform CIC? Could it count as misrepresentation?

You appealed the refusal and got the visa abi? Then u r good to go

If it was a fresh application to the same country after the refusal then that's when there would be a problem.

So far u r on the right track

Good day all,

Please I need some advice as to the best way to change money from naira to Canadaian dollars.

-Is it possible to open a bank account with a bank in canada from Nigeria and what is the best way to transfer funds into the account?

- Alternatively, I have a UK bank account, but I am worried that using that account/card in canada will attract some extra charges...

-I don't know if opening a dorm account in Nigeria will be OK. But I am also not comfortable with that as I think Nigerian banks charge a lot for transactions

Any suggestions from those who have successfully moved their cash from Nigeria?

Carry cash or if u don't feel comfortable with that, do western union or money gram in ur name, when u reach Canny, u redeem smiley

If you input the right date of birth and was classified infant still by the airline, u r good to go.

Hmm all this talk is making me afraiding o!
@impish @canadianfly @merrymum @vcole @dupsyshoo @xx01

I dont have a help either and I have 2 kids (3.95 and 1.4 years). I'm used to watching d kids and doing chores but im barely standing strong. If we then add homeschooling and d pressures of starting afresh in a foreign land, Now am thinking... "Maybe God is delaying my PPR so i can slow down and enjoy the last few months in naija as a resident and be fully prepared for PR living abroad".

Guess for me the good news is my daughter helps alot with her brother (when shes not glued to the T.V and he cares to listen). I also have my mom looking over them while im at work (though my daughter is in school 8-3)...and even though hubby cannot cook to save his life, he helps with cleaning the bathrooms and sweeping tooo (weekends only but bless him).

This Canny dream ehhhhh...anyways, SLOWLY BUT SURELY!
@slowlybutsurely wink

Which age be 3.95 and 1.4? Be consoling your sef say they are not 3 and 1, hahaha

@bolded I didn't say that the NOC has to be 3 years to qualify. The crux of the discussion is how to get the maximum points from work experience under EE.

cc: elfmann

I know someone that combined number of years with different nocs too. But the major noc had more years of experience

Thanks. Please what email address did you use?

laborel:
@yimiton,

I will advice you send them a mail to them while you attach the screenshot of your CIC approval page.

Our CIC page was approved in five days but they refused to send PUM until we send a mail to Accra visa office. Lo and behold, it was sent the next day.

Thank God, both passports and CoPR are here with us now.

Has your CIC account changed to approved?

For mine, I think delivery to Accra and back took about 2 - 3 weeks. I can't remember. But that's the general timeframe.

You can book ur flight tickets and do other things, I don't think Accra will request ur passports for them to stamp rejected on it lipsrsealed grin. Calm down, u r almost at the finish line smiley
