so i guess if it was hausas that the US army was trying to recruit we would spread the US is trying to train these people to come hurt us even more BullMAnure. or we cry wolf and run around like a chicken without a head and say why not the igbo's or yoruba's. or cry marginalization if its yoruba speaker and hausa speakers only.

how about the FBI and CIA recruiting people into their fold. is it usage as well?

This is not what the thread is about so I will not reply to white cop vs black cop view.
ok fair enough, but in a city where a large chunck of the population is black, immigrant, hispanic and on the flip side, the majority of those in the police force are caucasian. it seems off the Bat that the police officers are out to get everyone because they are not caucasian.

just something u need to think of.

with regards to ur support of Igbo's not joining the army. is it because they are igbo's or is it because you think the US is using/trying to use people?

I guess that name would have to change to something like Oil Producing Areas Development Commission (OPADEC)

Ol boy! why would you rather trample upon money rather than bring it out and spend it for the good of all.
the one in the naija delta that we didnt trample upon is what is killing us at the moment. thats why. the one we didnt trample upon has made us neglect everything else neglectable. the money we get from it presently is going into building airports in states where they have little or no potential of profitable air traffic. the money we derive currently is being used to build airports for states that have a somewhat manufactring sector/economy so they could export their goods. it makes sense but wont it help to encourage/financially ur manufacturers to improve the quality of there products so as to make the good competitive before u think of ways to facilitate exporting.

i just dey vex small this morning, my views might come out angry but i mean some of them. maibe a little refining would help.

they should please leave the oil under our feet. we prefare to walk on it rather than bringing it out of its 'natural habitat' because bringing it out would blind us from all the potentials of the state. in this case it is off-shore, they should leave it there. fashola can go ahead and build a second eko atlantic on it.

but if exploration starts does lagos state become being referred to as niger-delta or part of the area included in the NDDC because it seems the term niger-delta is being used to refer to the oil producing states.
PoliticsRe: CAN Wants Nigerians To Carry Arms (Religious Crisis) by mustafar1: 11:30pm On Feb 24, 2009
its might actually make things better in nigeria, we get rid of everyone, those that are left would sign peace treaty and decide to invade other countries instead. thereby increasing the scale of mayhem we currently have. hehehehe grin

shocked grin cheesy All my life, I leaved in a depressed life in a christian Nigerian family home in Abuja and U.S., Until recently I left my parent devilish religion of christianity, to join a mind cooling and true religion of scientology, today I concerned myself as a democractic scientologist. And the US Constitution is my holy book, and L. Ron Hubbard as my savior.
I read one news online the really kept me smiling and happy that CAN is lobbying in NASS to pass gun law in Nigeria. The truth is gradually coming to light, I've told my of friends that CAN is not but a terrorist organization. I've seen CAN led churches keeping Guns in church, which is suppose to be a "worship place", now turn into a Terrorist storage facilities. What will the gun law benefit CAN? because it's a terrorist organization who seek to use gun in the street of Nigeria cities. Campaigning and collecting our money in churches to buy guns right? I knw Church is nothing but a business centre, and sex centre many evidence has been shown to public. What has CAN achieve in Nigeriahuh? Creating confusion about the 2000 christian sect in Nigeria. For ur own information the Full meaning of CAN is (Collection Anti Nigeria). That why many CAN hidden agenda fail because u worship Blue eye status of Jesus and Mary. U kneel and bow to Fake ass Jesus status and thinking u worship God. How can Human kill GODhuh As u think dat Jesus was kill for ur own Sinshuh Pls come out of fairy tales and face the reallity no country outside believe in Jesus like u did. That why U keep terrorist organization like CAN to lead, Niger-Delta Terrorism full supported by CAN, Economic melt down, Lack of power supply and many other are as result of CAN, Blue Eyed Status of Jesus and fake ass Bible.

we are still calling a spade a spoon. imagine being treated to a 20 course meal with the money stolen from ur wallet/bank account grin. you praise him for at least spending some of ur money on you. YES?

please dont tell us that this is a different thing because the governor didnt steal the bribe he is using to provide needed things for his citizen. i'll be quick to add that, does that mean if he didnt get bribed he wouldnt have done the things he claimed to have used the money to do?

Innocent people are already dieing. How many innocent life should we loose!,  Look at what happened in rivers to the supporters club guys 2days back. If those guy in the bus had guns they would have defended themselves and died with honour!, close ur eyes and imagine urself in on the hospital bed with gun shot wounds then u will get a better picture.
Who knows it might be me or you tomorrow. Its painful! In America there are drive by shootings yet its safer than Nigeria. Imagine those bastard kidnappers going to church to kidnap kids, didnt u hear of the kidnappers who shot an 11yr girl in PH because they wanted to kidnap her 9yr old brother that is completely insane. I cried when i read it!, its so painful cutting short the life of a young lady who doesnt have an idea of wht happening politically.
america is safe not because everyone has a right to bear arm but because they have government agencies that are equipped to take care of the different bruhaha that could pop up. even with that, it doesnt stop a riot from happening, and when riots happen even the government finds it hard to control, and all the guns available to civilians wont stop the destruction.

all the guns available in america doesnt reduce the chances of getting mugged in the park, getting shot dead in the lobby of the parkhill projects, its doesnt stop execution style killings in the south bronx. you get attached both parties draw their weapons and before u know it the same kids u r trying to protect by carrying a gun is down bleeding from the bullet of one of those involved in the shooting not because she was shot at but because the bullet bounced off the hard ground.

the reason why people get smacked in the face and they wonder what they did wrong is present on this thread and NL in general.

u apply for a job they ask u during ur interview u are asked,

"if you suspect ur coworker is stealing/involved in fraud what do u do?"
A report to ur superior
B keep quiet and not do anything
C confront them about it, advice them to stop and you wont report to ur superior
D ignore the situation because u dont want to be seen as a snitch

wetin all of una go do.

we are still calling a spade a spoon.

the seasoned congressman from alaska who is going to jail soon had his vacation home renovated after the fact and he still got canned cos it is still a bribe, whether BEFORE! DURING! OR AFTER!. BRIBE NA BRIBE! SHIKENA.

do we need to write it in multiple languages before we agree there are no if's but's or maibe's about this corrupt loonies actions?

Here we go again. the it didnt just start so why the noise rhetoric is being played. I'm not perfect but i know BS when i see one, especially when the BSer is trying to portray his BS as a good deed.

a former Governor used to give out money at the mosque after Friday prayers every Friday. total BS whether he performed during his tenure at the "round house" doesn't make his giving out money right/proper.  i saw his money giving actions as patronising the people, improve the lives of ur people an they'll sing ur praise not by saying,"oh the governor always dolled out money to us on friday" but by saying, "my commute to work is now less than 30minutes because the road network project the government worked on was the master stroke we had been craving". by the way the money giving sessions always caused a stampede, im surprised no one ever got trampled to death.

on canal street (chinatown) theres original fake, theres fake fake, theres fake original, and they all look almost the same as the original original. the difference is only visible to someone who pays attention.

the government only chases them around when knock-offs are almost as good as the real thing and is selling at a pretty decent price.

Mowire:
Why do I think you critics are unduely hasty?
I read the original article and I see "they won't stop coming back to say thank you with huge, ". May be you guys ca't see that you cannot prosecute anyone for coming with a thank you offer after executing a job. I don't know Gov. Obi so I can't atest to his honesty but I know that if he rejected the gifts the useless contractors will pocket it and the people would not have had anything out of the balance of bloated contracts.
your idea of a bribe is collecting money to seek favor. a bribe is a bribe whether it is collected/given either before, during or after a contract is awarded, executed or completed. there is no statute of limitation in the case of a bribe. if you receive it 10 years after, its still a bribe.

all those you pointed out are present to confuse minds and not because they necesarily mean much. wasnt it until recently we started hearing south-south, niger-delta and all the other crap we hear these days.

soon we'll hear names like south central, north central, south south east, they might even go further by giving different time zone to create an identity for the crap they created.
