sorry for my previous rant, but is the CCTV for businesses or are they to monitor activity in public places like motor parks, markets, in short public spaces in general. cos nothing as indicated precisely where and what is being monitored to provide the extra needed security boost. |
there is a lot more to this CCTV experiment than they are allowing us access to. the reasons given, the facts we have to work with have lapses. non of the info given by the govt says anything about the support system for this CCTV cRAp. the govt might have good intention but the intentions are not towards the general public. they say private companies install it, and its connected to a database. what kinda businesses/private companies would require a CCTV camera installed. lets assume its our priority, it still doesnt look right considering what we know as fact. simple gibberish, until more facts(detailed) about the project are provided to us lets stop all this NONSENSE ASSUMING we have been assuming already. one minute it is a private project, the next minute its govt building its control center, next minute private companies install it on their premises, next minute government monitors the cameras bought by the private companies, next minute private companies do the monitoring and govt would have access to it whenever the need it. until some of these are pretty spelt out as ABC the project is as good as watching 24 (the new season is on fire by the way) Assuming only leads to a whole bunch of BullManure |
dem go soon come with their bandwagon talk say all of una be anti-nigerian, pessimist/ naysayers etc etc etc trying to deprive you of your right to free speech. |
it is obvious we all have different yard stick for measuring development. if what the poster saw while in nigeria is enough to make him see light at the end of the tunnel. i guess he does have a right to. from what i understand he doesnt seem to think what he has seen is the next best thing after sliced bread and agrees there is some more work to be done. |
cre8tivity i appreciate ur resolve to bring ribadu to face justice (if there really is anything as such in this case) but it seems to me and a lot more prople on here that, you are obssessed with anything and everything ribadu. you wont hesitate to put ribadu on the spot yet you go light on cases of YARA SLOW's decision to take a leave to recharge his battery in europe. why not UCH or LUTH? anyway, i guess we all gear our energy towards whatever we think floats or sinks our boat, whichever the case might be. |
i think u r in love with this man ribadu |
boss can u please ask the questions again. i assume they didnt see it. do they have the fone in number. make i buy call card ask all our questions. ![]() |

kobo na turn by turn, papa God don make he reach our turn. |
Sky Blue:kobo and sky blue, healthy debate u guys are having. sky blue, the money for maintenance most likely would be generated from toll. some portion of the toll might go to govt as revenue. but in a case where theres major work to be done. e.g. road expansion. does the govt cuff up the funds or do we increase toll fees? |
funny way to look at it. i guess each recharge must last him about 5-6months then |
YES, they sure do get taught under those conditions as well. im not against the BRF but when people sing praises nonstop and never see otherwise, call whoever questions anything pessimists/naysayers/fill-in-the-blank, etc etc etc. i cannot help but get wired up.

allboyz:allboyz, some of us critique based on what we know first hand(facts). while it is hard to believe my statement with all the noise being made about lagos and its gov. if i didnt see proof myself i wouldnt have brought it up but since you are so sure of your, "the story of student sitting on the floor to study is really hard to believe" statement i'll give pictures and a link to the facebook group the individual started, in her quest to try to raise money on her own to help get the students in her class desks and chairs. the name of the facebook group is "HELP STUDENTS OF KOSOFE JUNIOR SECONDARY SCHOOL GETS CHAIRS AND DESKS!!!!" if you cant find it i'll gladly put a link up. read for yourself thus next time some of us make statements be sure we can back it up. not like my fellow lagos governor has done a lot, he has fixed roads, education and go ahead to help spill some more verbal HIV. ![]()

allboyz:its just 600 days, agreed. so how long would it take for those kids to stop sitting on the floor in their classroom to learn anything. ![]() |
the kids in kosofe highschool alapere ketu sit on the floor so wat has he done with education. i can provide picshures if you need proof ok he has done some stuff but its not everything he has done i'll give him 2 cents for. |

i guess the joke is on u then. cos i was only joking myself. ![]() |
cre8tivity, on an awesome day i would have responded to ur jibe. but i need to conserve energy for better things so i'll simply allow u to keep shooting off at the mouth, thinking u r talking. |

earTHMama:lol |
earTHMama:na wa for you are these ur ideas. Fashola is just trying to add more to that list like our schools especially universities where clandenstine activities AKA secret cult are getting out of handnow i am totally confused as to the purpose of this camera snackwrap, it seems you simply want camera's everywhere for having camera sake |
here's to hoping he doesnt come back to a new govt. tips a glass of water |
KarmaMod:and why is that a better option? for the most part they never got into the water itself. ok their feet maibe, cos they stood on the wings which were somewhat submerged. |
Textbook landing, bravery of pilot etc, and even the fact that d river looks shallow enough not to have posed a threat to life:the river is deeper than you might think. cruise ships dock on that side of the city. its even deep enough, the government is thinking of using its depth and current to generate electricity. |
i knew some americans were retarded but i didnt expect their retardation to be manifest the way it does sometimes. you might ask why i say this. its because some people are questioning why the pilot landed the plane in the river and didnt land the plane at the airport instead. i dont blame them though, they must have a reason to have thought of that and questioned the pilots decision. make i go find out why they are questioning it, maibe it might be a valid reason. |
years from now it might be worth more than its current value. i cant reign curses on Mugabe, for all you know he might be the glue holding his country together. ![]() |
i want one of those. collectors item. |
