EmekaStanley:Modern day office settings recognize the human side of their workers and make provisions for short rests.....sometimes, stress at work may demand you have a bit of rest (sleep in some cases), you can simply walk up to the provided spaces, take a cup of coffee and have like 15 minutes nap.....the key element nowadays is meeting your daily deliverables and targets (reason why working remotely is allowed in many instances) |
The whole world agreed that Diego Armando Maradona single handedly led Argentina to 1986 World Cup, same way Mitchel Platini single handedly led France to 1984 Euro Cup.....there is no basis to argue such facts..........when a single player gains so much influence on a team that is obvious that the team would not achieve such level of attainment without the player, such descriptions are apt in describing the impact of such player in the competition.....i am sure nobody argues whenever Man Utd fans mention same about Robin Van Persie concerning the last EPL won by Fergie and Man Utd......same way everyone agreed that Bruno Fernades single handedly dragged Man Utd to UCL position 2 seasons ago. safarigirl: |
Kanu was named the 6th best player in the world in 1996.....doubt if any other Nigerian player has till date attained that level in the annual award....to add to this, he remains the most decorated Nigerian player ever......however, naming Nigerian most successful player ever is not something somebody who didn't watch Nigerian players accross three generations would be able to do successfully |
ThierryJay:Beyond VEE, Check the change in instagram followership of TrickyTee within 48 hours of him appointing Laycon as his DHOH for validation of how Laycon affected other housemates. |
People forget events very easily....amnesia or selective forgetfulness? If we remember people who tried to play the pity party card last season, i doubt Laycon was part of them....the guy introduced himself talking about his music, entered the house talking about his music and spent the first few days delivering his music......however, some other people introduced themselves to the world with stories of how they had deprived upbringing without presence of father and mother, how they had to hustle all their lives without family support and attachments (if this is not about trying to curry emotions and pity, then i wonder what it is about)......meanwhile, let's enjoy this season show without recourse to last year...season 5 has been one and closure brought to it with the reunion. |
All the arguments here are absolutely not necessary as the OP did not take his time to research before jumping into the story of Toyota opening an SKD plant in Tema area of Ghana (mainly for production of Hilux vehicles)....this is happening a full 5 years after making the first production in Nigeria (Hiace buses).......meanwhile, the 3 million USD SKD investment in Ghana is nowhere close to Innosson's CDK plant in Nigeria.....I am aware that Nissan, JAC, Sinotruk, VW, Peugeot and Honda have SDK assembly plants in Nigeria while the Ghana through Toyota's 5% investment in Suzuki Ghana has a Suzuki SDK plant too. We need to do more searches and informed opinions rather than constant online competitions about Nigeria and some other countries.....every African country have their own issues....but i can categorically say that most do not get close to Nigeria till date |
https://www.toyota-tsusho.com/english/press/detail/201102_004711.html Paragraph 3: ''With the establishment of TTMG, Toyota Tsusho Group will have vehicle production sites in five African countries following Kenya, Egypt, Nigeria, and Rwanda'' You wonder why proponents of censorship of social media will not use this kind of ill-researched reportage to build a case |
Jadentica:Lucy was the first HoH and first female HoH |
franugo:The OP didn’t say he was seeking for merit.....he claimed to have been referred by another powerful man |
How wonder how many people have seen the memo under review before making comments....the basis of informed opinion is having detailed information about all issues at hand.....I know that there have been ongoing reviews of the laws setting up NGOs and its almost global because of issues of terrorism and money laundering (the truth is that NGOs are the major vehicles being used globally for these)....the law setting up religious organizations are within this range, thus I wouldn’t be surprise that someone is trying to resist same law that affects all other bodies.....the question is why other groups sent same memo are not protesting if it is as bad as proclaimed. |
And why is nobody asking why Southerners have always been head of ICPC? |
fairfora:Ajimobi was the MD of National Oil before Mike Adenuga bought it and changed to Conoil.....you don’t need to argue on what is in public space....it is not a novel information and the way he had to resign was also in public space |
Gforce2015:If this was meant to be a joke, it’s not funny and if it was meant to be a serious talk, it is not.....Was Pastor Eskor Mfom not very close to the G.O ( Pastor Adebose) when he died untimely? |
fergie001:Sorry bro/sis, let’s give the right info sir, nobody does live broadcast....you can only have live press conferences...you can make confirmation from any government house reporter....moreover, press houses are given speeches ahead to enable them study and familiarize before the speech (for reportage and analysis sake), however, it comes with instruction to remain confidential until the speech is broadcast....you can also confirm that from any professional in the field....lastly, speeches of MDs of small companies are written by their staff...not to talk of governors or presidents.....executive don’t have time to write speeches...there is a reason why all government houses have speech writers.....and if we need to know, most books are not written by the authors....there are professional writers who translate your ideas into books or speeches....this is not for argument sake but for proper information and knowledge |
ganiyheart:Dear, don’t be deterred, your guarantors, personal guarantee, irrevocable warehouse of proceeds by Nirsal and placing lien on any asset you are purchasing are forms of collateral for the facility |
NaijaRoyalty:One thing I know and have learnt in life is that the real rich (not audio) rich men, who are truly legitimate and don’t need any form of validation from people don’t brag in the public about their money....that is why Dangote, Otedola, Alakija etc don’t come to Twitter, Instagram, Nairaland to brag on the type of food they eat or type of wine they drink or the kind of hotels they sleep....those things are regular issues of their lives....so brother, I beg you, don’t ever allow any argument to make you commit such mistake....anything we have is by the grace of God, and doesn’t make us better than those who don’t have them....it’s just the Grace |
GamalNasser:I want to believe that you are just catching fun by pretending to be incorrigible.....Lagos was not on lock down as lots of street markets are still open, likewise Inter and intra movement buses and vehicles are not restricted, neither is human movement restricted...private offices and businesses who wishes are still open....but Buhari just announced a total lock down from tonight, hence even essential services will only open with approval and strict guide.... |
NCDC and not LUTH or LASUTH conducts Covid-19 test.....As at today, Lagos has 100 beds at Yaba Isolation Centre and another 100 just built by GT Bank at Onikan.....Dangote Foundation and Access Bank are building additional 1000 at five centers around the state.....reported cases are less than 70, so how can there be shortage of beds for any confirmed case? This news is TOP FAKE amongst fake news |
Yesterday, we were told by the presidency that a close aide to president Buhari tested positive but they refused to tell us tlhis name.
Is Abba Kyari not a close aide of the President? Is he not the Chief of Staff? |
HantarVirus is not a new issue......it’s a virus that can be contracted by contacts with droppings and urine of rats.....it was initially discovered in the rural areas of America and also have presence in some places in Asia....early symptoms are fatigue, headache and body pains.....no known test for early issues and no reason for panic on it.....the virus issue has been in public discussions for over 3 years.......it’s advisable that you clean anywhere you see rat droppings and urine with “jik” Meanwhile, trying to wrongly profile China as destination for extinction of humanity is very wrong....maybe you need to know that Lassa Fever (Lassa is a village in Borno State) another virus, has killed more than 150 in Nigeria in the last one year..... |
Did he carry them with their cows in his bike or how did he know that they are herdsmen? |
ajl:if the Uber driver is tested not to have the virus, how could he have transmitted it to his other passengers? Is it possible to transmit what he does not have? I think that is why the Commissioner announced that they have broken the chain of contacts....Come to think of it, why don’t we leave the dynamic as of planning and implementation to the professionals? In this case, The Lagos State Ministry of Health, Federal Ministry of Health and the National Centre for Disease Control seems to be the professionals in managing the Corona pandemic in Nigeria |
Feranchek:Matt Busby was way more successful at Manchester United than Mourinho.... |
For those who became interested in Nigerian affair post 2015: https://www.vanguardngr.com/2012/01/12-killed-as-subsidy-protests-turn-bloody/ LAGOS – The nationwide strike action called by organized labour and its civil society allies against the removal of the subsidy on petrol practically shut down the country yesterday as workers in private and public institutions abstained from duty. The strike action which was peaceful in most parts, however, turned bloody in Kano, Lagos and Benin where at least 12 persons were killed in controversial circumstances. Two persons were reportedly killed in Lagos when a Divisional Police Officer attached to the Pen Cinema Police Station shot at some youths who took opportunity of the absence of traffic to play football along the road. The Inspector General of Police Hafiz Ringim promptly ordered the arrest of the DPO who he said should face trial for murder. Seven persons were killed in Kano while another three were killed in Benin during yesterday’s strike action that culminated in the shut down of banks, airports and the nation’s sea ports. In the midst of the strike, Finance Minister Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala disclosed that the government had not closed the door to negotiations even as she admitted that the administration as those before it was seriously mistrusted by Nigerians. One of the protesters killed in Lagos was identified as Ademola Aderitan, but the identity of the second who was said to had died later at the hospital from gunshot wound, was not known at the time of this report. Vanguard gathered that the death and injuries occurred after the Divisional Police Officer (DPO) in charge of Pen Cinema, fired shots to disperse some youths who were playing football in Ogba area of Lagos. But in a swift reaction, the state Commissioner of Police, Mr Yakubu Alkali ordered the immediate arrest of the DPO, identified as Segun Olubunmi, Chief Superintendent of Police. It was gathered that the visibly angry Alkali, personally disarmed the DPO when he was brought to the command headquarters, Ikeja, before directing men of the State Criminal Investigation Department to whisk him to Panti for further investigation. namiji2598:You are wrong...Ancelotti won the Champions Cup twice as a player. |
The final contestants have not been shortlisted...the list here was posted about two months ago when the organisers called on the public to vote one of them to be brought into the BB9ja show...the OP just copied this and twisted it to gain visibility and it is so bad that a MOD pushed this to front page despite the fact that the real story was on front page just about 2 months ago....does this mean that stories are not verified before they are pushed to front page? |
dyydxx:Being abusive is not a sign of intelligence......however, to further inform you, the post is subject to Senate approval, and the nominees went through Senate Committee screening before their appointments were approved by the Senate at large....in essence based on your understanding, the whole Senate were bunch of fools who are slow to understand abi? |
President Buhari sworn-in 27-year-old Ms. Hannatu Muhammad as a member of the board of the Independent Corrupt Practices Commission (ICPC). Ms. Hannatu was appointed as one of the board members to represent the youth in compliance with the provision of the ICPC act. Sometimes you wonder why some Nigerians love wailing from position of ignorance |
Oga, drop the conspiracy theory...there are more than 9 LGs in Ondo State....obviously you did not capture all the LGs |
