Asaba—DELTA State Governor, Dr. Emmanuel Uduaghan, yesterday, announced the ban of commercial motorcycles otherwise known as Okada in Asaba, the state capital and other major cities, with effect from this month. Uduaghan, who received the new boss of Federal Road Safety Commission, FRSC, in Delta State, Commander Ada Ajenge, who paid him a courtesy visit at Government House Asaba, said: “I have constituted a committee headed by the Commissioner for Transport to liaise with the various Okada unions to over-see the purchase of tricycles. “We are hoping that by the end of this month, we may not have Okada in our major cities, especially Asaba, Warri, Effurun, among others. What's the big deal if she denies you food to spite you?just pick your damn keys and drive downtown to the nearest posh restaurant and give yourself a treat,make sure you go home with the bill,make sure she happens upon it accidentally sometime after her beef has died down(just to reassure her that you didnt go to one sissy's to get your grub;which by the way might happen if she keeps up that stupid notion BTW,a man should be able to know when the wife is not able to serve him food cos she's so upset,not really that she wants to punish the guy,just that she's in too much of a foul mood,she might not even be thinking straight(before she go mistakenly and innocently add scouring powder to your food mistaking it for salt),if that is the case,then the hussy should press her PIN and cheer her up,but if it's one of those fights that need a little time to pass,then just grab your keys go wack outside,but dont come home with any upsetting souvenirs |

berem This story reminded me of a past experience I had with a particular guy.I met him on fb too and the first thing he asked me was what I do for a living.after telling him,he told me he had a business to do.he needed 1million naira from me. I didn't even have that kind of money so I lied and promised to give him the money.and the next thing he told me was I should book for a hotel for us to meet and I shouldn't tell anyone about my whereabout.then I sensed danger! Yinka Johnson’s version via her friends You might have heard the story going round about the Banker who allegedly killed a LASTMA official by knocking him down with her car. Eye witnesses on the... scene insist that the LASTMA official was in fact knocked down by a Danfo bus he was trying to accost AFTER he arrested the Banker for a traffic offence. In fact, her car was about being towed as can be seen from the picture on the lastma website. You can also see from the picture posted there that the car was empty. How did she get back in, ram the towing vehicle and killed the LASTMA man? LASTMA is trying to skew the story as murder and she is currently in detention. Please note that I have seen her car and it doesn’t have a single dent on it. Kindly spread the word and encourage eye witnesses to come forward and give statements at Panti where she is being held. She is a mother of 3 (including a 2mth old baby who is with her in detention). I know her personally. Please note that the incident happened yesterday morning 10/08/2012 at Ikota, Lekki ExpressWay. She was on her way to work. Please call 08037076890 if you have information or witnessed what actually happened. We need eye witnesses to counter their lies. STATEMENT2 You may have seen the sensational headlines about a banker crushing a Lastma official to death. This is not true. Yinka was sitting with a Lastma Official in her stationery car which was about to be towed when another Lastma official on the road was run over by a danfo (comercial bus) quite some distance from her car. Her car bears no signs of impact as evidence and eye witnesses in the nearby taxi park confirmed this. The stories accusing her of murder were instigated by unscrupulous Lastma officials who are peddling the false charges and trigger-happy journalists who published uncorroborated stories of the incident without visiting the scene, checking with eye witnesses nor checking with the accused. A traffic offence and murder are certainly 2 different things. Yinka Johnson certainly did not commit murder. She’s a mother of three who instead of spending a peaceful weekend with her family is sleeping in a police station with her 2 month old baby, falsely accused. In cases like this, there are no winners, it is so tragic. Please help if you can provide any eye witness information on this case. [size=14pt]I really feel very sorry for this poor woman,I'm sure she's not a killer by any shade of imagination,just that having heard Fashola's new draconian laws,which shows no leniency for innocent traffic errors,but rather smells more like a shameless law to either squeeze cash out of Lagos motorists or send them to jail,she obviously must have dreaded the two scenarios and tried to evade arrest,but the useless and greedy LASTMA guy would not allow her flee and take down her number,rather he foolishly stood in front of the SUV and got what he had coming.Na so greed go take kill so many more LASTMA officials,not that I like that scenario,but most of them are so corrupt and greedy and will try to exploit the draconian law to enrich their pockets with bribes from arrested motorists,this will see so many of them becoming stupidly desperate and many more will be wounded,maimed or killed.
