@ OP,
You said you spoke with the bank offficials, how are you sure it was the bank officials you spoke with.
One would think the more practical thing to do in a scenario where bank officials are acting up is to eport them to their superiors;HOP or BM,why call you and ask you to speak with the erring officials? |

Denn: i now understand your thought process. i was trying to be diplomatic so as to give you a soft landng but it seems you want a hard-on.
the legislature is one of the three arms of government. There is the executive (the president and all others responsible for the daily administration of the state; the legislature which is empowered to make laws and the judiciary tasked with interpreting these laws and ensuring they are adhered to)
a legsilation is different from a constitution and it is clear you dont know the difference.
A constitution is a set of fundamental principles or established precedents according to which a state or other organization is governed. These rules together make up, i.e. constitute, what the entity is. (reference: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Constitution)
Legislation (or "statutory law" is law which has been promulgated (or "enacted" by a legislature or other governing body, or the process of making it. (Another source of law is judge-made law or case law.) Before an item of legislation becomes law it may be known as a bill, and may be broadly referred to as "legislation" while it remains under consideration to distinguish it from other business. Legislation can have many purposes: to regulate, to authorize, to proscribe, to provide (funds), to sanction, to grant, to declare or to restrict. (reference: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Legislation)
whilst legislations deal ONLY with laws, Constitution deals with the core principles on which the state is established and governed.
the constitution establishes the supremacy of the state. it defines the different arms of government and gives them both powers and limits. A legislation is however, a product of the legislature (through law enactment) or the judiciary (through precedents).
University of Lagos was established and incorporated by THE UNIVERSITY OF LAGOS ACT 1967. This is the only legal reference to the establishment of the university.
As a fact, the University of Lagos was not mentioned in the 1999 Nigeria Constitution. the only explicit reference to "University" was the University college at Ibadan and University College Teaching Hospital, (under the legislative list)
it is so unfortunate that despite my clues and leads to you as regards this subject, you are still so determined to believe that Jonathan erred against the constitution and not a legislation in this regard.
This is a public forum where learned fellas visit. You should not expect the common beer-parlour argument skills to make your points valid here.
if the only kind of refutation you can provide from this moment is still based on this alomo kind of assumptions, am sorry i wont be able to respond to you again.
In summary, a legislation is different from a constitution. Ask google if you are still in doubt.

PapaBrowne: I don't believe this story one inch. It is either your brother is deceiving you to get more money out of you or something is absolutely wrong.
First, we all go to banks everyday here in Nigeria. There is no bank that collects bribe to offer a service. It is absolutely impossible. The banks are one sector in Nigeria where corruption is at its barest minimum.
You have to ask your brother more questions. Banks in Nigeria wouldn't give you Western Union if your ID is incomplete and the aim is actually to protect you from falling victim to scammers. It would have cost almost nothing to get that license renewed.
And please why does your brother expect to access banking services without a valid ID CARD. In the country where you are based can you do anything without identification?? You cant even cash your paycheck without an ID. You cant even get a job without social security. You can hardly access healthcare without health Insurance. You cannot even stay in some hotels without a credit card. You cant do anything without identification.
Why on earth do you expect your brother to access services without identification. For your information, Nigeria is changing and many things you could get away with easy previously have become more difficult. PapaBrowne: I don't believe this story one inch. I used to admire Oscar Pistorious when his bad sides were still unknown, however I struck him off my list when he baselessly accused a particular athelete of cheating, having his blades modified blah blah blah.I saw a very deeply envious and jealous fellow.Envy and jealousy can drive a man over dangerous cliffs.
I also read where he almost shot a friend of his in a restaurant, add envy, jealous to a love for guns, then you have a disaster waiting to happen.
Im sure in due time, the lid will be blown off his steroid use and all will see him for the fraud he has been all along |

Oscar was high on banned steroids,he was even using banned steroids, the guy has been a fraud all this while http://news.uk.msn.com/world/oscar-pistorius-murder-charge-police-find-steroidsHe murdered the girl in cold blood,he is such a savage brute,he chased the poor girl round his flat, shot her in the hip,the girl now ran to the bathroom and locked herself up,he still fired three rounds at her,she tried in vain to use her hands to protect her head, but unfortunately, bare hands dont stop bullets. Well on the flip side, thank God Oscar Pistorious has finally been exposed for the drug cheat and evil person that he is,just that that expose has come at a very costly price http://news.uk.msn.com/world/oscar-pistorius-shot-girlfriend-in-bathroom-651999http://news.uk.msn.com/comment-and-analysis/oscar-pistorius-bloody-cricket-bat-central-to-murder-case/ |

Mecha~what? That might be the worst mistake you would make in your life.Your intention sounds like a knee~jerk reaction to me. What should inform your overall/final decision should be the answer to this question:What do you have a passion for, which of the courses do you feel a strong pull to?you know that kind of gut feeling that yes,I belong here, this is my area, which of the courses gives you that feeling anytime you think about it?that course will most likely give you fulfilment in life, should you follow it. Stick to your archi vision or the building tech thing, most of the softwares and packages available these days for the both courses are similar and inter~related. You stand a better chance of getting jobs with either of the two as they are specific fields, rather than mechatronics that sounds like a jack~of~all trade mumbo jumbo that will keep you in the labour market for a long time |
