I'm an engr buh i ve bn around... I heard minimum 2.1 and 2.1 is a must. its easier if you enter through nysc, its 70- 100k while it is reviewed slightly upward in case the fellow is retained. The range you mentioned above is also true at least for B&I, A&O and AOS Practice. It also varies different locations fct, lag, Ph... i hope these isn't coming too late |

that's very true...until recently recent one of the worst place to market generating set in Nigeria is Osogbo. All things being equal, 18/20 hrs of power supply is guaranteed everyday. Even if there'll be (or there was) outage it will be announced at least 72hrs prior with the reason stated. the announcement part as since been stopped few yrs back. You were right france had strategies nd dat is needed in life! buh Sir u forgot to mention dat their strategies got perfect within seconds of eliminating onazi...they didn't save it for the end bro, they've had it all along. Someone was just neutralizing it -Onazi taking him out that way to me is called cheating, except of course its War situation where Anything, All is Fair! Don't get me wrong, Strategies are needed in life, good one...buh u could hav said more on Nigeria's LACK of strategy and NOT on France displaying MORE of it coz they didn't. Another NLer has posit " where was france's STRATEGIEsss wen they lost to Germany!" Matthewbriggs: I may not be a sports fanatic, or follow closely the exploits of the likes of messi and rolnaldo or understand the schematics of the UEFA champions league or FIFA world cup. But one thing I know is ... I am big fan of the super eagles. I try my best not miss their matches. Her encounter with France was of no exception...4days ago I sat glued to a Tv set for more that 90 minutes hoping and praying we would win that game. But alas we were beating 2-0 ... 2 freaking zero... till today those goals keep replaying in my head. *arrggghhh*. I had two option, to either feel bad for our failure or to see this as one of my numerous learning opportunities and instead focus on deriving insight and inspiration from this depressing encounter. Alas I chose the latter. Below are really key lessons I relearned from that encounter . |
emlilshady: recruit is to officers(military) as aso is to detective (3ple Syria). if u want to know more about the job, watch movies like 24hours(the works they do in CTU), watch alias, nikita, and other CIA movies. you will notice that it's not everyone that has the experience for that field work most of you are scared of. your cv is a piece you designed to advertise what you can do, you applied with to work as a cleaner does not make you go to the frontline of battle.DSS needs folks like you...broadminded, natural profilers...i guess u hav seen these series too Criminal minds and Lie To Me. |

TribalEAST: Dont mind them. They go about negleting and commonising guys with 3.7 C.G.P.A in the university but embrace wholeheartedly the NO FUTURE AMBITION yahoo boys just cos they want campus respect which they think the yahoo boys can provide cos they flaunt cars, a relationship which gives them countless heartbreaks which tells on the FB status.flesh and blood hv not revealed this to u (y) |
r
i look 5 years younger. just fresh and young. i dont really like it though maybe for now. sure i will later, i am not small. i am 6fit but young gettle fine face and the problem is most girls feel you are not up to there level just becos you are young and all that. but maybe when they get to know you if there is chance for that. they will know becos the way u do things nd ur friends u follow. i just have love for big girls? i even love them bigger. i dont even have beared... only few and my father and brothers dont have either.
u are so on point. I'm 5' 11 with a nice frame and some goatie....the thing is these ladies think I'm 16, from their attitude. Some of them I deliberately discuss events that humbles their memory. I graduated 3yrs ago afta spending 6yrs+,....they act like I belong to UTME generation and a handful of guyz @ work too thinks I'm on IT....nd when they realize otherwise and start overcompensation, i just smh and smile coz a part of me enjoys it.... |
On a serious note, well especially amongst Ghanaians and Nigerians as i do not know much South Africans. We do not hate each other. Yes we have competition(sport, movies lol basically everything even fufu and jollof rice) but we do not hate one another. I think out of all west African countries we can relate the most to each other. Ghanaians and Nigerians are like siblings, we fight, compete but at the end of the day we still got love for each other. In internet is where most of the fighting occurs, i do not see this happening in real-life.
so true...of past african leaders i think one man Nigerians are quick to prescribe his methods to the Nigerian situation is Jerry Rawlings he once said this about us..."Africa is distressed because Nigeria is sleeping..." i think Nigerians and Ghanaians exhibit a kind of mutual loyalty that is very rare and growing the more. I can presume its the opposite between S. Africa and naija as whatever love we once had for them is being continually severed. |
NLerz next time u wanna do anything like chats, status updates, likes, comments, games, apps or post anything, pix, videos et cetra on fb, u might want to read this before u do. An Austrian law student wanted to know how much data about him had been stored by the world's largest social network during his three-year membership, so he requested a copy. Facebook sent him a CD containing 1,222 pages of data. As reported by the German newspaper Der Tagesspiegel, the student said: "Everything had been stored -every message, every chat, including sensitive information about friends." Included was infomation that he was sure he had deleted! |
gedtalks: My fellow Nigerian graduates, I wish to open your eyes to the unseen future of thousands amongst us, yet we DO NOT or CAN NOT do anything about it.My brother u re very on point buh the truth is nigerians are too 'intelligent' to die let alone the schooled(graduates) ones.......If u push an average nigerian to the limit, instead of revolting or exhibiting even the minimal signs of frustration, he would rather expand his capacity to absorb the pressure and hardship the more thereby setting a new limit. If u indulge me, Hooke's law in Physics which is also applicable to natural occurence started with a caveat/condition ..."Provided the elastic limit is NOT exceeded the extension of an elastic material is proportional to the force applied" otherwise it looses its elasticity...In essence i'm saying nigerians are elastic but DO NOT have a limit that can be exceeded because with every additional novel force/hardship they will not slack but extend and allow space/strenght for the suffering. Suffice to say and in addition to ur facts, today 14 JUNE 2013 makes it exactly 1 year that i had my NYSC passing out together with my fellow 9700 plus colleagues(check Eko Kopa magazine) here in Lagos State alone. A record number of 95,000 plus graduates had been mobilised which made 2011 Batch 'B' the highest number ever of youth corp membaz at that time..... i'm sure the record must have been broken by now with the rate at which most private schools, Uni and Poly are sprouting and all of them churning out graduates who in actual sense are better 'empowered' than some of us from government skools and are easily absorbed into the labor system whether by merit or proxy If u know what i meanSinging....#We shall overcome....
