2. Buhari to Provide daily meal for Primary school pupil: Thanks for bringing in the case of Osun state into this point, it will make it clearer. On this point, you came up with a total sum of N373 billion per annum. We all saw the recent statistics of revenue allocated to each state by FG, I saw it here on Nairaland, Osun is the lowest earning state and I don't think Osun's IGR is up to 30% of the allocation it get from FG. Probably why the state owe workers some months salary. It depend solely on FG allocation and their has been a cut in the allocation of each state since last year due to the fall in oil price. Osun could still afford feeding Primary 1 to 4 student despite this circumstances. after reading this point, i have to clarify why this point is a miss and the more reason
*Osun earns the lowest due to balance of payment deficits (the most borrowing state in the country with repayment conditions that are very gross for a State Government)... These deductions are made from source before allocation. One would think these debts should translate into visible development but its only a novel display of grand fraud...
*The Governor is simply defrauding the state embarking on "gigantic projects" that take forever to complete- the same projects he supposedly went aborrowing for.
*School feeding was started by pdp in 2006 while apc took cue... and it was meant ONLY for pupils in class 1&2! before the incumbent came and tried to outdo himself.
*The 20,000 jobs per state idea of GMB was copied from Osun too, nd i think Oyo...ask the OYES jobbers (thats their name) how many month arears they are being owed, I'm sure its more than 6months since they are temporary anyway (2 miserable years after which another batch is taken). Meanwhile It is designed for School Cert. Holders but its flooded by unemployed Graduates some even with Second degree. (cutting grass for 10k less 1250 tax) Besides the full fledged workers are owed 6months salary, about 8months pension arrears for pensioners.
All these could have been avoided altogether. When Obafemi Awolowo introduced free education, he had clear and realistic approach of executing it. You made a very good point but Osun state is the worst advertisement for this product, its the failed example.
GMB should be wary of packing more than he can carry because he'll be shocked how fast four years can be... *Kindly pay a visit to Osun, then you'll know that the economy of the entire state has shut down! GMB should not bite more than he can chew, Aregbesola obviously is still chewing o |

Ifeanyi4491: ==>First, you’ll need to enable access to the hidden “Developer options” menu on your Android phone. To do that, simply tap the “About phone” option in Settings. Then tap “Build number” seven times and you’re done. Now you can just back out to the main Settings menu and you’ll find Developer options somewhere near the bottom of the list.
==>Now that you’re done with that part, let the real fun begins. Tap the new Developer options menu you just enabled and scroll until you see the following three settings (note that they may be located within an “Advanced” subsection):
Window animation scale Transition animation scale Animator animation scale
==>Did you see them? By default, each of those three options is set to “1x” but tapping them and changing them to “.5x” will dramatically speed up your phone. This harmless tweak forces the device to speed up all transition animations, and the entire user experience is faster and smoother as a result.
If you are able to this, you are the boss… if not, your Android device is still your boss. Nice one...The "Developer Options" menu did not become active until i tapped the "Build Number" icon about 7 times ...after changing the animation scales to .5x, i noticed the speed is incredible but something else came up, Camera stopped working. biafranqueen: You already working with him. Tinubu was released from jail on serious charges and given Lagos as a gift. Now they will cash in on the favor bank. The elections was US manipulated. GeJ close relationship with China and steady progress was a thorn in US side. His promise to force foreign oil companies to partner with 9ja corporations was a threat to those companies underhanded drilling techniques and unreported amounts being extracted. Nigerians should get ready for a new form of colonization under US power it is never pretty when they set sights on a developing nation. World Bank is already predicting food shortage.
Like Buhari already said Nigerians have to suffer for 5 years your change is here. . The bolded is very true...US/UK are very involved from the beginning and it has been manipulated long before the election proper. I wonder why nigerians couldn't see the obvious pattern. In fact every plot was carefully crafted and very glaring... 1. from the very organized way the merger was born to the manner, degree and speed at which the chibok case was escalated by the West... 2. The big goons like Bola tinubu attending the official events during Obamas 2nd tenure inauguration. 3. GMB spent considerable part of his time campaigning abroad, granting western media interviews(his headache).... (a)pls show me any presidential aspirant who campaigns on another Sovereign land outside of his sovereignty...He won ! (b) GMB had over 15million votes. how many of the votes came from nigerians(in diaspora)? how many? 4. Obasanjo was not deluded when he titled his letter "Before It Is Too Late", he was in the know all along. 5. Why am i not surprised that the same US that couldn't help on Bokoharam? that refused to sell their tech but wants to train our Soldiers without the right firepower? and hastily condemns GEJs incompetence to contain the Insecurity (which is not unlikely that the US is involved), that the same US already promising GMB? why am i not surprised? I'm sure I'm not the only person who can see the clear handwriting coz the pattern of events is just too overwhelmingly clear! GEJ really performed below expectations in many ways. However, he is not the worst GCFR we have had in this country. I am not unhappy he is bowing out finally by may 29, but i am equally worried of the servitude this country will suffer in the hands of US/UK under GMB who are the real schemers and used nigerians to think they voted CHANGE...we will wish for a better change soonest. |

Idrismusty97: Exactly! Man first came before any "god". Give yourself the credit for once . 989900: You basically need more 'faith' to be believe in macro evolution, than you need to believe in a creator/designer/manufacturer. I cant tell if Man came before God or vice versa but i also think each one of us is and represent the 'God' form in time (the same way our lives represent the bits of time we spent on earth) within the entire time continuum. If bible says God is the one who was,who is and is to come and after reading his book God's Debris by Adam Scott I think Faith is all we need, it is the missing clue to confirm that even our Science establishes Godness only if we can be deep enough. If all were true which in a way is credible then, it will be difficult NOT to believe that; 1. There is a GOD 2. This GOD exist because We (each one of us) are Gods. 3. That this GOD is the only thing that is constant in time. 4. Probability of a Continuous Function = Unity i.e 1 (google the math equation for clarity. The beginning refers to the past or negative time or negative infinity while The end refers to the future or positive time or positive infinity and in between the two extremes we have The Now, The present - our place in the continuum) A.W Tozer simplified it better in his quote

Christianity Etc › Re: Small signs to show The End Is Coming by mytym(m): 9:00am On Feb 02, 2015 |
5minsmadness: I'm not a bible quoting christian, have never been good at it, but I'm sure my friends here can supply me with the scripture that says 'in the end times people will be lovers of themselves and not of God, selfish etc etc.' Someone said the best trick the devil ever pulled was to convince man that he doesn't exist. He has done a pretty good job of that so much so that when things are happening in favour of evil around us we barely even notice it anymore.
Its easy to recognise wars and murders, rapes and outright violence. Its easy to recognise corruption on a large scale and the downfall of great leaders and economies. The thing that is more dangerous however is the subtle ways we are being 'preached to' into accepting evil and thinking there is nothing wrong with it. I have outlined below a set of things that have slowly and surreptitiously been placed into our daily lives that we don't even realise we are being brainwashed into believing such things are normal when they shouldn't be. By the time they are done when the mark of the beast is introduced and the antichrist announces himself, even christians will accept him whole heartedly.
1. The breaking of the church into denominations. Some people think this was good so as to make the gospel spread farther. I say a house divided on itself cannot stand.
2. Materialism in the church. Constant seeking of miracles instead of salvation, praying for a brand new car this year instead of purity of spirit, praying for your enemies to die instead of praying for them to find salvation. Tithing to make your pastors wealthy instead of tithing to help the people of God that are needy. Seeking positions in church for worldly recognition instead of looking for people who have a genuine thirst for the conversion and reaping of souls for the harvest.
3. The sexual revolution. Sex is suddenly nothing to be 'ashamed of'. Sex was never meant to be something to be ashamed of, but it wasn't meant to be public either. Sex is designed to be a private affair. The private parts are hidden by pubic hair and clothing because they are private. Now the more sexually perverse a person is the more he/she is considered to be exhibiting his/her 'freedom' . Pornography is everywhere, in our books, magazines, the internet, movies, even our kids are being corrupted with lewd images in their 'innocent' cartoons. Have you ever wondered why p0rn is so easily available? Its virtually free to browse and download millions of megabytes of porn movies now, not even clips. So much so that many of us cannot even recognise indecent behaviour when we see it in real life.
4. Cartoons corrupting our kids. This might sound laughable to you but keep an open mind for a moment. Look at the cartoons our children are being shown. Cartoons like 'adventure time' for example. Have you ever watched it? Of course not, you say; its for kids. I advice you to take ten minutes of your time to watch one episode and your will realise it is downright demonic. How about 'the adventures of bill and mandy'? Innocent right? Have you seen the recent episodes? In an episode of SpongeBob squarepants worms are seen coming out of his eyes! What's funny about that?
5. Evil is now good while good is evil. There are new cartoons now that paint heroes in a bad light. Jack and the beanstalk---jack is now the thief while th giant was a friendly giant. Cinderella was actually full of pride and the evil stepmother was simply 'misunderstood'. Here's one that will touch you Disney watchers...remember frozen? That wonderfully inspirational movie that got every girl crying and chanting for female empowerment? The original story os from 'The snow queen'. And Elsa was no 'misunderstood' ice princess. She was a villain, a queen who would freeze little boys hearts and remove all love from them. 'Hans' represents the boy whose heart was frozen but now suddenly in this movie he is the scheming bad prince. Hmn.
There's a movie where angels are depicted as evil overlords and humans are supposed to rise up against them. Hmnn.
Same example can be seen in maleficient, Dracula untold etc etc. They are making it look like evil must have had a good reason for becoming evil. They are making a case subliminally and people don't even know it.
6. Identification numbers. Yeah, if we really need them why do they keep changing them? We have social security number, credit card numbers, bank account numbers; and now suddenly the idea that the numbers are too many is beginning to spring up. Why not one universal number for banks e.g BVN number? Have you done yours? Why not a number that will identify you uniquely as an individual and will help you transact business, receive medical care on emergency, help you get a job...it sounds reasonable right? I mean, its not as of some illiterate shepherds from 2000 years ago wrote a fairytale book predicting this exact same thing happening as a sign of the end times...any of these beginning to sound familiar?
There are more examples, you can add yours.
When the end comes most of us won't know it because we would be too used to it. For those few who notice the changing times and recognise it for what it really means, there is a question for you: Will You Be Ready? @bolded...very true! |

Recently, I was having a conversation with a former colleague who just got a lecturing job in a university. I asked how he's coping being a chronic Stammerer and how the students react in his class. i was pained when he said he was not born a stammerer but a lefty, and that stammering was the effect when in early years his parents (educated) tried to correct his left-handedness coz to them its an anomaly. I thought i should share on NL. While I was growing up i noticed my tendency to be ambidextrous, my parents told me they tried correcting the 'anomaly' because according to them i started out as a lefty. As I grew much more older it seems they really didn't record much success. (I write with my right). albeit, this caused some conflict in my motor skills/orientation and balancing. I find it difficult to perform some tasks with my right hand. I can't use a razor or knife with my righthand... NEVER! the thing won't just cut. I can only tap/snap my left fingers to make sound (taka sufe ). I couldn't play the guitar. the list is endless... I later was going to learn from another friend who has a sinistral(leftied) brother having difficulties with gear manipulation -alas! its the reason i spent 12 years to learn driving (mentioned on another thread). While i was in the uni, a lady stopped greeting me for two sessions only for her to reveal my offence later that she had waved at me and i responded with a left hand gesture (which for me was done in subconscious). What is responsible for the conflict in motor orientation and why are parents displaying rigid mentalities? |
Politics › Re: "President Jonathan Is Like Jesus Christ" - Doyin Okupe by mytym(m): 9:26pm On Dec 16, 2014 |
Flets: GEJ is from God and Buhari is from the devil. Otherwise why would Buhari be all about blood, dog, baboon, death, anarchy and all evil vices?
1. Gen Buhari allowed Shehu Kangiwa, the then Sokoto State Governor from 1979-1981, who conducted and supervised the famous "Bakolori Massacre" of poor peasant farmers, whose lands were seized without compensation, to remain under a very comfortable house arrest, without punishment or proper imprisonment.
3. Buhari's CPC loyalists massacred and lynched Nigerian youth corpers after the last election. A refined politician is expected to tender an apology on behalf of the ignorant loyalists, buhari refused to apologise. He said, the mob were angry because they felt the election was rigged. Is that sufficient to take the life of another?
4. Buhari pretended to have forgotten, his CPC party, rigged the election by registering under aged voters. He who comes to equity must come with clean hands.
5. In 1983, an article "The Mallams are Coming" written long ago in the 70's by Bisi Onabanjo, whose column Aiyekooto (parrot - known for telling the plain truth) and a later one in which Onabanjo wrote, people should watch out for that "Gangly Officer from the North" after Buhari gave a no holds barred speech at a Army function, where he openly supported only pro-Fulani and pro-Islam to the exclusion of all other ethnic groups, and the termination of democratic rule, was recalled by Buhari. For exposing that, Onabanjo got a harsh jail term and was tortured while in prison.
12. Mallam El-rufai who now sings buhari's praise famously said on Oct, 5th 2010 that "General Buhari is perpetually unelectable because his record as military head of state and afterwards, is a warning that many nigerians in the past have wisely heeded. His insensitivity to Nigeria’s diversity and his parochial focus are already well-known."
13. El-Rufai again said: “I was 25 years old when Buhari was Head of State and now am 50+ and he still wants to be President, i don’t understand that, i don’t understand that at all and I call on young people of Nigeria to take their future into their hands and ensure in the next election, they vote for a new generation of leaders. This man should pave way for a younger blood, we don't need an old man. Its only in Nigeria that u willl see the same set of former corrupt leaders hussling to lead even when they keep saying that we are the leaders of tomorrow, the same story my teacher told me many years ago. Can any Nairalander gladly point out any American former leader that is still vying for the same post?
A leopard can never, ever change it's spots. Nigerians, do not be deceived, vote wisely. God bless you for this facts...i seriously am NOT so impressed with jonathan's methods but i'm yet to comprehend why people in their rational mind consider GEJ a slowpoke, clueless, failure nd all sort.. but their logic centres' idea of change prefer GMB whose antecedents we all know is E V I L ! |

knightsTempler: All i know is that American foreign policy is a mess. Look at this way;
Th US is so screwed up they don’t even know who to support anymore.
They took out Gaddaffi, look what that got them and Libya Will never be the same.
They want to kill the Syrian government forces but so does ISIS. That means they 're on the same side as ISIS in Syria.
But they need to kill ISIS because they want to kill their friends in Iraq...
Iran wants to kill ISIS in Iraq and in Syria. That means the U.S have to align themselves with Iran in Iraq but oppose them in Syria.
Their NATO ally, Turkey, wants to kill the bad Kurds but might help the good Kurds...
Everybody except ISIS wants to kill Khorasan. If the Kurds were to win against ISIS they would then attack the Iraqi forces. That would be rout because we all know the Iraqi military won’t fight. They proved that in both the Bush wars by surrendering by the thousands and by throwing down their weapons and fleeing from ISIS.
Now Obama wants to train 5000 butchers, bakers and candlestick makers so in 6-12 months they can kill 40,000 ISIS members then kill Assad’s army, and maybe flip a coin to see which Kurds they kill.
What a mess of a foreign policy. I still can't comprehend why the US wants to have a hand in everything... |
