Thank you Dotun, even with all the dramas you get yourself into sometime. One thing you most lean. Stop proving right with client when you have disagreements. You’re still a think tank of this platform, you always thinking of improving quality at minimum cost without compromising quality with a lot of innovation. I love the challenge you throw @ Gbadexy to come with a paint product that can do what you’re experimenting as scientists. Let start doing research on our little capacity to reduce our dependency on other people innovations.
Thanks baba.

At the last stakeholder meeting with Lafarge, the mortar unit are currently developing a special type of ready mix polymerized plaster.

I know the formulation of Grafitex shouldn’t be any different. Infact, I believe it’ll almost outlast any type of known cement mix.

How do I know?

I had a drum of Grafitex in my store for 7 years. Would you believe nothing happened to it until my kids opened it up and left it exposed for weeks.

No. They can apply it directly though after applying a stabilising solution to make the blocks stronger, reduce consumption of the graffitex and give a smoother finish.
Thanks sir.

The paint actually stayed on the block but the finishing is not smooth. Though it’s not deliberate screed.

I’ll give it a trial when the applicators come to do the fence.

Is it the relay version you have or the servo?
Since it is a rented apartment, I opted for the one I can place on the floor. Unless I am left with no choice, I detest breaking the wall of a building. Surrounding is cool, with some ventilation available. I don't know about the earthen ooo....I just called a street electrician to install when I bought back in April 2019. How do I check if it was earthen?

Edit:
I just saw you bought the relay version. You probably have only low voltage without fluctuations. Trust me, if you have fluctuations, it is a matter of time for you to have a first breakdown. I hope I am wrong sha.
I’m on servo and I’ve not experienced any downtime after 6 months of install. The current in my area always fluctuate between 50 and 140.

We’re currently installing a 500kva transformer in my street to current this issh though.

I love the very neat application of the graffitex paint.
Can I ask you a question sir? Is it possible to use Grafitex directly on blockwall without the need for plastering? It worked fine on drywall.

If not, what needs to be added to make this happen...

I foresee someone taking Dangote out of business if this can be made possible. Grafitex can easily become an alternative to plastering in my opinion.

Boss, what the average lifespan for this wall design? It looks good, but I want to have an idea of what it takes maintenance wise...
According to the manufacturer, it’s minimum of 25 years. I believe it'll stay longer.

No maintenance. I never have to bother or worry about water issues.

Please do share when it gets to jointing and screeding, especially the procedure and materials you'll use to get the best finish. Will be using this for my small project.
I’ll definitely share.

Meanwhile, I just painted over this. No screeding. No surface preparations. No extra waiting time. No dramas.

Everything done within 24 hours.

I’ll also share the one I’m installing tiles on.

WPC floor and wall panels. Priced at $1,000 for 200sqm

This would make more economical sense to me than wall rendering or laying paving stones in pool area. Ease of use is super. Just like fixing jigsaw puzzle. As per the engineering properties, I suggest you google WPC to read more. The price is more than friendly for such a neat and clean finished material.

This is just one out of the thousands alternative offerings.
In 2016, I shared this. It’s just shocking that those who are supposed to lead the change we yearn are the ones championing brick and mortar constructions up and down.

There are several other solutions out there to explore.

In one of my ongoing construction, I’m not using traditional roof.

@mountmoriah, the earlier we start exploring alternatives, the better for us.

We are just too rigid in this country. We’re stucked in our old ways.
