Greenarrow01: Good neighbor Kwa Most neighbors won't come out when they hear the sound of gun lol For example This building was invaded by efcc officers. The behaved like thief's to get access to the building in the middle of night. Omo I already have two Caucasian dogs solid ones. But it seems I will invest in like 3 kangals and two pitbulls to bring my total dog count to 7
The first police officer wey first climb fence go don suffer from dogs before he go think of breaking my door. And I am sure he will have a hard time shooting 7 dogs. Make all of us for Nigeria mad together Smiles. Will the dog go with you everywhere you go? Nice one. I once did dog until one calabar boy kee my dog. |

michlins: that price is for the cheapest pan oh. Don't use it for your estimate You asked for the number of 18 gauge sheet needed and its cost and that was exactly what I gave above. Youll spend less than 700k on 44 PCs of 18 gauge sheet of pan needed to fence a plot of land. |

michlins: a sheet of pan with dimensions of 8ft by 4ft goes for 15,000 for 18 guage. Calculate how many you need and it's costs The cost is not much. Less than 700k to insert steel sheet inside the perimeter wall of 600sqm parcel of land. |

Daboomb: I read the below Story on another thread about how EFCC "easily broke into" a House that has Electric fencing, using just Pliers!
This is the link: https://www.nairaland.com/6767588/nora-okafors-ordeal-efcc-25
My worry is that is this how Armed Robbers can easily override the Electric fence we have in our house? How possible is this? Professionals, installers and Clients who have this type of Electric Fence in their House should please weigh in.
I dont want to be confident on false hope, if the thing can be so easily overcome. They broke the fence wall in another reported case. |

Greenarrow01: @n3xt This question is specifically for you. And a one who can help answer it. Lands in epe axis for agriculture cost between 1.5m or so per acre. This is around at Augustine university. But most factories and farmers choose to go to Ogun state, some places as far as 3 hours drive to Lagos. Lands there cost 300k to 500k per acre.
Pls I will will to ask why people take that decision Knowing fully well that cost of transportation to Lagos will tell Very few people sell their produce to Lagos. |

Hatesin: She didn't complain about space, hence, the presumption that she has enough space.
Besides, one must not own a football field before one can mould blocks. I traveled home this weekend to see my parents only to meet the compound partly covered with blocks. What was happening? Our boundary neighbor was building and he begged to extend the moulding to our own compound which my parents obliged him You need space for block production. 2,000 block no be small quantity when you start. |

Hatesin: Madam mould your blocks manually except you have the money to throw away.
Talking about speed, you can get two moulders and in 3/4 days your blocks are ready. Fair enough but what about space requirement. |

cuddling44: Good morning my ogas in d house... pls sir am trying to mould my block on my site in kwara state due to finances.. wen i but d land last year November 4cornerpie 9"block was 180... dis year April 9inches was 200.. as at now is 270,300. And I need like 2000 9inches block.. if i should mould manually it will be 341,000 , (workmanship is 700 per bag but promised to give him 1000) i contracted a machine block moulder man dis is d quotation he sent.. which should i use pls. He is bringing d machine to my site and is d same ilorin.. owe much should i pay him last....
COST OF PRODUCING 2,000 BLOCKS 9" Block sand 40tns@#2,400=#96,000 Cement 50bgs@#3,500=#175,000 Workmanship=#200,000 water=19000 Total=#490,000 @spyder,@egunmogaji@next@kolashange one pls advise me, am working on a tight budget Find out where you can rent an electric machine and pallets around you. No matter how expensive the person is, he can’t charge you more than 1,200 per bag of cement. Rent one and get boys to produce your block for you. If you’re too generous, you’ll pay 1,500 per bag of cement to the operator and labourers. The standard rate here in Lagos is 1,000 per bag. The man is just trying to sell block to you and not assisting you in anyway. Take note, if he’s going the block in his shop, he’ll still have to pay laborers to wet the blocks, stack it and transport it to various destinations. Producing at your site should be way cheaper. Maybe around 400k for the 2,000 blocks. _____________ If you’re doing hand mould, get a moulder that comes highly recommended. If they can achieve 10 bags a day, that’s a good one. _____________ Remember it’s raining season though. Someone looking to make quick money won’t tell you this is not a good time for experimentation. Give yourself a little more time for the raining season to be over. Buy all your materials now. Cement is cheaper now. Wait till after the rains to mould your blocks. If you’re sure of a fair weather though, just go ahead with your moulding. Wishing you all the best. |

somehow: I plan to build a mini estate with like 1 and 2 bedroom detached flats instead of being in the form of apartments or terraces.
I cherish privacy which makes me believe there are people with same taste but can't build at a go.
How viable is this?
Note : On the mainland. It depends on how cheap the land is. Building detached 1 bed flat in Lagos mainland is not viable. One of my friend here recently raised 30 flats on 1 plots of land in mainland. |

diordaves: This should not be difficult to understand. The funny part is that some now gunning all out for screeding (needless aesthetic) probably didn't do German floor (structural necessity) where they think they are saving. Screeding is not spending money in the right place. The question is how have we been doing it before now. One of my client said this during the week “We’ve done range plastering. POP guys have screeded all walls. Painters have done painting. Now decorator come put wallpaper on top everything. Is this not waste of money?” |
