This is the video of the door supplied by Michlin contracted to custom make a 3ft door as agreed and invoice issued to that effect and receiving a 32ft door less than what i need .

Let me talk Generally on burglar bars
I’m not using this to support any side.
As I was thought in sch as building tech student then which I’m also putting into practice at site.

Case of burglar bars
Let assume your block opening is 1200*1200
You need to reduce 25mm from all four sides of the WALL OPENINGS.( this is for plastering gauge)

Then you will also consider 15mm reductions from all 4 sides agains ( for alignment)

Now you will left with 25+15mm =40mm
You final burglar size to be delivered to the site will be 1160mm * 1160mm.

This also applicable to door.

Let’s do small tutorial on door ( let’s use ft and inches here)

Regular 3ft door as example,
- wall opening size width 3ft
- wall opening size height 7ft
Door frame 7*3 ft

Door leaf size; you will reduce 2” (50mm) from up, side A,side B and threshold[(this will take care of tiles or any floor finishings thickness)
( this reduction is for the frame)]
Now your door leaf size will be
- width 2ft 8”
- height 6ft 8”

So don’t expect your door to be 3ft by 7ft
When your builder, engr, or artisan deliver your door

Some pages back I did full tutorial on how STANDARD DOOR MEASUREMENT should be.
I will search for it here when I have time so that people can learn how it should be done.

-Door leaf size
-Wall opening size
- frame size (thickness)
All these comes with different measurement
At the end of the day your DOOR of 3ft size with frame will still be 3ft.

He is transporting them from Lagos to Orlu at an agreed price.

A customer comes to the market and asks of good A, the seller tells you the cost, and the customer starts to haggle for reduction, the seller might refuse to sell. The customer goes to another shop and repeats same, the second seller might have a lower quality or class, and sells to the customer at a reduced price, and the customer goes home with a reduced quality. Later on he will discover from friends and family that there is a better quality out there and he will start to blame the seller. But remember, the first seller told you the cost of the original.

Whenever you go out to the open market to buy something, always "shine your eyes" be careful and alert, but remember, there are still many honest salespeople out there, I have am friends with many of them and they are the first to call me if there will be a major development in the market. I get first hand gist on price increases, price reductions or new product offerings in the market. We need to work out a smooth relationship with our dealers so we make the best of our own work.

*Vitrified: product are most highly quality tiles standard home �
*Porcelain: products are advisable to use in every dimension floor and wall every good and quality
*ceramic:product have a minimum side of making use of it because you can't lay a ceramic tiles on a busy place it will fail, e.t.c

Would you know what building stairway safety code in Nigeria is? It looks like those stairs are are too high not to have rails. 3 steps should be the maximum without rails (regardless of the height).

So the major decision going forward is whether to use projector (long or shot throw) or high def television. I have wiring for both already.
